00:00 I walked in the shelter and Henry was there in his little cage.

00:12 Henry was picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter for adoption.
00:16 When I graduated from college and was moving to a city to start a new job, like my first
00:20 big post-college job, I knew that I wanted to start this next chapter of life with a

00:26 So I walked into this one shelter and Henry was like the display cat.
00:31 He was just this cute little white cat.
00:32 As soon as I walked in and I got to hold him, there was just this instant connection.
00:37 He doesn't necessarily get along great with the other cats, but with me we just have this
00:43 bond and he wants to be wherever I am.
00:46 I call Henry my soulmate cat.
00:48 We can play off of each other's energy.
00:51 I think he feels the most at peace when he's near me and vice versa.
00:56 It's just a very calming presence for me.
00:58 He has a very, uh, sorry there's a cat chase going on right now.
01:03 Henry has a very unique meow.
01:06 It's very deep.
01:07 It is a little bit like a smoker's meow, but he doesn't smoke, I promise.
01:19 He's honestly like the perfect cat.
01:21 Going on 12 years old, he is so playful.
01:23 He can turn into the biggest kitten.
01:29 One of his main quirks is that he loves shoulder rides.
01:32 And so if I'm bending over to pick something up, he'll just jump on my back.
01:35 I'm like, oh, okay, Henry's here now.
01:37 I guess we're going for a ride.
01:38 You can just tell by looking at him that he is so much smarter than you.
01:42 He's the smartest being you'll ever interact with.
01:44 Just like the way he carries himself.
01:46 It's like you can tell that this cat just possesses the wisdom of the universe.
01:54 I have anxiety and depression and Henry for me is just that source of constant comfort.
02:00 He can sense when I'm having a really bad day.
02:02 So if I just need to give myself rest that day, he'll rest alongside me.
02:07 And he likes to crawl under my blanket and just like burrow up on my chest.
02:10 And it's just the best feeling ever.
02:12 He's like my own weighted blanket.
02:14 And he brings me so much comfort and I can just breathe.
