00:00 Hello, welcome to your evening weather forecast from the Met Office. It's been a
00:04 mixed picture wherever you've been across the UK with outbreaks of rain or
00:08 some people have seen some sunny spells. Through the rest of this evening cloud
00:12 and rain is going to continue to push its way northwards affecting much of
00:15 Wales but generally fizzling out as we go through the night holding on to
00:19 cloudy conditions across Northern Ireland and Scotland with some heavier
00:23 outbreaks of rain affecting northern parts of Scotland. But there will be some
00:27 clearer spells in between where we see the clear spells see some low cloud
00:31 mist and merc but with a lot of cloud around temperatures are generally going
00:36 to be holding up with temperatures around 11 or even 12 degrees. Through
00:42 Bank holiday Monday then it starts off a rather cloudy note a lot of low cloud
00:47 generally lifting and breaking but showers still affecting north-west
00:51 eastern parts of Scotland turning a little bit drier across Northern Ireland
00:55 but cloudy here we have got outbreaks of rain affecting at southeastern areas
01:00 could be heavy at times but in between that we will see some sunny spells but
01:05 also some showers are breaking out and some of these could be on the heavy side.
01:09 So temperatures are generally going to be around average underneath any
01:13 cloudier conditions and rain but where we see some sunny breaks that's where
01:17 the temperatures will rise and we could see highs of 18 or 19 degrees so
01:21 hopefully feeling pleasant if you do miss one of those showers. As we go
01:26 through the rest of Monday evening the showers are generally going to start
01:30 fading away that cloud and outbreaks of rain across the southeast of England
01:34 should generally move its way south with many places are seeing a largely dry
01:38 night but still quite a lot of a cloud around and then temperatures still
01:44 staying rather above freezing so many places holding up around 11 or 10
01:51 degrees but in the rural spots we could see it turn a little bit chilly under
01:55 the clearest skies. So generally most places seeing a largely dry start to
02:00 Tuesday some bright spells especially across Northern Ireland and across East
02:04 Anglia and across the southeast but there is still quite a lot of cloud
02:08 around especially across northeastern coasts on Tuesday could linger here for
02:13 a time where we see the sunshine again showers could break out but not as heavy
02:18 as what we'll see on Monday and not as frequent either so many places seeing a
02:23 largely dry picture. Temperatures then generally still around average but
02:27 feeling warm where we see the sunshine highs of 19 possibly 20 degrees. As we go
02:33 through the latter half of the week we should see higher pressures starting to
02:37 build that will bring settled conditions also temperatures rising but for more
