00:00Hello, good evening. It's been another dry and fine day for most of us and there'll be
00:04more dry weather to come tomorrow, more sunshine as well. However, across the
00:08north-west some cloud and rain is arriving through this evening. That's as
00:12this wiggling, waving feature of a front is approaching from the north-west. It
00:16won't make too much progress elsewhere across the country as high pressure is
00:19building, so that makes for another dry night for many areas of England and
00:23Wales. We'll be a bit cloudier across northern England, parts of Northern
00:27in particular across Scotland through tonight, just as we're closer to that
00:30weather front and there'll be persistent rain moving in, particularly across the
00:33north-west of Scotland, the Western Isles and the Highlands in particular.
00:37It should stay dry elsewhere through this evening, apart from a few specks of
00:41rain over the higher ground in northern England. And it's going to be another
00:44mild start to the day on Thursday. There could be some mist and fog around,
00:48particularly across coastal areas of England and Wales, but that should lift
00:51and clear quite quickly, just as it did today. And it will give way to another
00:56dry and bright day. I think sunshine will be more widely felt through Thursday
01:00compared to today, and that sunshine will spread up towards northern areas of
01:04Scotland by the end of the day. And in the sunshine, it's going to feel even
01:08warmer than it has done on Wednesday. Temperatures climbing quite widely into
01:12the 20s across parts of England and Wales. We could see 23 or 24 degrees
01:17across eastern areas of Wales, central parts of England, but even across
01:21Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. Temperatures climbing towards the high
01:24teens, which is above average for the time of year. But just where that cloud
01:27hangs around for longer across the Western Isles and the Northern Isles,
01:31temperatures will be capped into the lower teens. That will lead us into
01:35another dry evening as that band of cloud and rain continues to push further
01:39north. So I think most of us should see a dry night on Thursday night.
01:43Some mist and fog could form once again. It's particularly coastal areas
01:46where that mist and fog is most likely. So potentially a bit of a dull start to
01:51the day for some areas, but it should be another dry night and another mild
01:56start to the day on Friday. And then once again, although the sunshine may be
02:00a little hazier on Friday, I think many of us are going to get away with
02:03quite a fine day. Plenty of long-lived sunshine, particularly into the
02:08afternoon. It's going to feel even warmer in the sunshine than it has done
02:12so far this week. We could get a bit of cloud bubbling up into the afternoon
02:15across parts of England and Wales. That could give way to a couple of showers
02:18through Friday evening, but I think most of us should stay dry for the next
02:23few days. And temperatures on Friday could climb towards 24, possibly 25
02:27degrees, but quite widely we'll be into the 20s across the UK. So certainly
02:32a warm day for the time of year, and those temperatures will climb a little
02:36bit higher for Saturday as well. But you can find more details on your
02:39forecast for further ahead with our latest 10-day trend on YouTube. Bye-bye.
