00:00I'm just wondering if we could see some kangaroos.
00:05Long-time fans, first-time players to be down here in Australia.
00:07You guys have a beautiful country.
00:09You know, it's almost Christmas and I almost started singing Silver Balls.
00:14Kevin the Kiwi.
00:14Kevin the Kiwi.
00:15Oh, really?
00:16We just took an ugly four-door Chevy and made it something, you know?
00:20What do you call it? We call it a cooler.
00:21Cooler, yeah.
00:22Esky?
00:23I'm taking these words back home.
00:25What does that say on the wall?
00:26It says Camp Dingo's Choice.
00:30When I look at a blank canvas, I see endless possibilities.
00:36As the ideas come to mind, the lines start to fall into place.
00:40And before you know it, we have a bitchin' ride.
00:44A bitchin' ride has intense color.
00:47This is gorgeous.
00:48Performance.
00:49It's fantastic.
00:51Stance, wheels, sound.
00:54There's one thing that makes our car stand out.
00:57Ours are bitchin' rides.
01:00Well, it never gets old.
01:08I have a very interesting phone call coming up.
01:10A group of people down in Adelaide, Australia are going to call us and talk to us about going
01:15down for a huge car show and the Adelaide 500 supercar V8 race.
01:20Awesome!
01:21Mel and Liam, how are you guys?
01:23Hi, how are you going?
01:24How are you going, guys?
01:25I'm very good.
01:26What time is it there?
01:27It's 8 o'clock in the morning.
01:29Good morning!
01:30Which morning?
01:31Friday.
01:32It's Friday morning here.
01:34Oh, they beat us to Friday.
01:36Hey, can you give me the winning numbers?
01:37There's a big lottery that happened yesterday.
01:40Sorry.
01:41Hang on.
01:42Never mind.
01:42I'll check.
01:44Okay, now that we got all the Australia jokes out of the way, it's great to meet you too.
01:49So we've got a couple of letters back and forth.
01:53Please tell me exactly what it is you're wanting to do.
01:57Australia's largest domestic motorsport event.
02:01Wow.
02:02That's cool.
02:02We'll have like 250,000 people at the event, so it'd be awesome to have you guys with us
02:08and to show you around a little bit of our small town of Adelaide and introduce you to
02:14some of the really cool things.
02:15So I don't know if you know, but the two cars that race for us, the supercars, they're Camaros and Mustangs.
02:22Oh, really?
02:23See, I would have thought they were Falcons and the Holdens.
02:26Why am I, I guess I'm not that hip on motorsports at this moment.
02:30Do the Camaros normally win?
02:32Stop.
02:33Camaro, well...
02:34Actually, most of the time.
02:35Most of the time, yeah.
02:36That's what I'm talking about.
02:38So, so the show, tell me a little bit more about the show cars.
02:42So we'd love to put a custom car show together.
02:45So we've got some great custom cars down here in Australia.
02:48It's a really passionate, passionate guy that built cars and we've got a few big shows here.
02:53And, you know, we've always had car shows at our event, but we really want to elevate it this year.
02:57When we think of car shows, who's the best in the world? And you guys popped them on straight away,
03:02so we had to reach out.
03:04Awesome.
03:04And potentially, if we could call the Kingdon Custom Car Show, even get a couple of your cars
03:10down to Australia, if that was of interest.
03:12What do you guys think of that idea?
03:13I think that'd be really cool.
03:15Well, I got one that's, that could go.
03:17We could take the Family Affair Corvette down.
03:19Okay.
03:20We would love the Family Affair, that'd be amazing.
03:24That would be really cool.
03:25Do we just drive them down here?
03:26There's an ocean between us.
03:27Yeah, no.
03:30You know, it's not a done deal yet,
03:31but if it's anything like what they're making it out to be,
03:33this could be a really great opportunity.
03:35Just the little bit that I've got right now,
03:37I'm in, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in.
03:40I'm just wondering if we could see some kangaroos,
03:42and other than that, I am in, 100%.
03:45I think if we could have you guys on board,
03:48it would just make the event such a special event for us.
03:52I've never been to Australia, neither has Kevin.
03:54I've always heard how crazy you guys are about cars,
03:57and I think this would be just a great opportunity for us
04:00to go down and show off what we do,
04:02give people an opportunity to see a couple of our cars.
04:05More importantly, to be a part of your culture
04:07and check out the stuff and get Kevin strapped onto a kangaroo
04:11for a ride and boxed.
04:13It's a win, it sounds like just a bunch of wins.
04:15It's a win, win, win, really.
04:16Liam, Mel, we're in.
04:18Count us in.
04:19Whatever we got to do, we would love to be there.
04:22That's awesome.
04:22We're going to Adelaide, baby!
04:39Well, here's to being in Australia for the very first time,
04:43and at the Velo Adelaide 500.
04:46This is awesome.
04:46This is unbelievable, right?
04:47This is unbelievable.
04:48We're here in Australia, my very first time, by the way.
04:51Everybody's rolling out the green carpets, not red.
04:54I have never seen my face posted up so many times.
05:00You haven't been in that many post offices in one afternoon?
05:03Or wanted posters.
05:04I think it's time to go check out and see what's there.
05:09Let's check it out.
05:10Let's check it out.
05:10Wow, look at all these great cars.
05:11Look at this.
05:13Look how serious you look.
05:14I am serious.
05:16We're going to have a great time.
05:17Everything looks wonderful.
05:23Long flight, but we're here.
05:36It's taking my breath away.
05:38This place is not only car crazy, but they are kindid crazy.
05:42We're very excited to be here, you guys.
05:44First time, long time fans, first time players to be down here in Australia.
05:48You guys have a beautiful country and wonderful, warm people.
05:50And we're so excited to have met each and every one of you so far,
05:54and looking forward to meeting everybody else.
05:56This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come down here and show off our
05:59talents and our crew's love and passion for cars.
06:03I am excited to see everything and what everyone's brought.
06:07And again, thanks for all the hospitality to bring me and Dave over here.
06:11It's been awesome.
06:13Okay, now it's time to check out what the car vibe here in this country is all about.
06:19Is this yours?
06:20Certainly.
06:20Wow, this is wonderful.
06:21How are you?
06:21How's it going?
06:22Good.
06:22Nice to meet you.
06:23How are you?
06:23Nice to meet you.
06:24Pleasure.
06:24Very nice to meet you.
06:24Pleasure.
06:25Pleasure.
06:31This is cool.
06:31We got a chance to look at this last night a little bit.
06:33Every time I come back and look at this, there's another thing that I catch.
06:37Like, I just catch the gold on the bumper.
06:39Did you see that?
06:39Yeah.
06:39The gold little strip.
06:40Yeah.
06:40I didn't notice that last night.
06:41That's it.
06:42What's your favorite part of the truck?
06:44Probably the seats.
06:45The seats.
06:45I was going to ask you about that.
06:46I love the seats with the shocks in the front.
06:49Is that an actual leaf spring or is it just something that's decorative?
06:52Something I made up, which actually, you know, it's actually sprung.
06:55It is spring steel.
06:56Spring steel.
06:57So you can actually, you can sit on it.
06:58It doesn't move.
06:58Oh, that's so cool.
06:59Shocks there just to stop the bounce because when you drive down the road.
07:02So this cab over is super clean, super trick, but you know what?
07:06I'm drawn to the way that he mounted his seat.
07:09It's a super cool, like, leaf spring design.
07:11It's got two shocks in the front.
07:13It can't get no better than that.
07:14So do you get this truck down the road?
07:17I'd hope so.
07:18I still haven't taken it for a ride, but I'm ready to go.
07:21Once you make something a bit smaller, then maybe I'll be a bit more comfortable.
07:24To be fair, it's a little higher.
07:25Yeah, he built one of probably the bigger vehicles in this tent, right?
07:29This thing is very well done.
07:31The father and daughter team that actually put this together has been hanging out with us,
07:35showing all of the details to us.
07:37This is really cool.
07:38This literally is something I would love to build back in the States.
07:41Well, right on.
07:42Awesome.
07:42So nice to meet you.
07:43Cheers, guys.
07:44Very nice to meet you guys.
07:45Enjoy.
07:46Nice to meet you.
07:46Beautiful stuff.
07:47Enjoy the show.
07:47Yeah.
07:48See you.
07:48Unbelievable.
07:49It's beautiful.
07:49I love that color, too.
07:50Look at this.
07:55Is this yours?
07:56Yes, it is.
07:56Wow, this is amazing.
07:57Really cool.
07:58How are you?
07:58Amazing.
07:59Good, nice to see you.
08:00So, they don't do much of this style of stuff in the U.S., which I think that anybody that's into
08:06hot rods, I mean, really, at the end of the day, kind of just run what you brung.
08:10Yeah.
08:10That's kind of what it seems down here.
08:12Doing a straight six with the, is that an A71 or 671?
08:14A 471.
08:14It is 471.
08:15It's unbelievable, though.
08:17It just looks big.
08:18It is big.
08:19So, you don't see a lot of this conversion here, or is it common?
08:26That's, that's, that makes it even cooler.
08:27Like I said, kind of have your take on it.
08:29It's a little bit different.
08:30It's not the same.
08:31I mean, I love V8s, don't get me wrong, but when you look at something like this, it's just
08:35different and awesome.
08:35Right.
08:36Oh, look at that.
08:38Oh, I didn't see that.
08:38That's cool.
08:40You guys' ingenuity out here is just second to none.
08:42Yeah, can we call it them?
08:44They don't call it coffee and they call it research.
08:47That's cool.
08:49So far, Australia's got home run after home run.
08:52These cars are off the hook.
08:53Beautiful.
08:54Well, yeah, best of luck.
08:55It's so nice to meet you guys.
08:56Great to meet you guys.
08:57Best of luck.
08:58Thanks.
08:59Mad Max, eat your heart out.
09:00There's a lot of cars that really look familiar from the US, but there's a lot of cars here
09:04that don't look anything like I've ever seen.
09:06Wow, look at this thing.
09:12This is our first time to Australia, and to be honest with you, as I understand, I think this is
09:16the best place to be in Australia.
09:18So far, we've had such a great time down here in Australia, but we're just getting started.
09:22Wow, look at this thing.
09:27What is this?
09:28Is it like an MG?
09:29No, I think it's like a 50s.
09:33I think this is a Holden.
09:34I think when you're in Australia and you don't know what the car is.
09:37I'm pretty sure it's a Holden.
09:40And the reason I say that is I think somebody said that that other car, the concept car,
09:44started out based on this body style.
09:47Oh, really?
09:47Mm-hmm.
09:48Which is unbelievable if you really look at that concept car.
09:51It's just ridiculous.
09:53And that is a Holden.
09:54So some built specialty fuelies, like how French did in the headlights.
09:58And you painted the headlight ring.
09:59That's actually a really clean touch, too.
10:00Those little screws, you like that.
10:02I love that.
10:02I love it.
10:04The fit and finish is really nice, though.
10:05Yeah, I like it.
10:07This building in particular was set up for home run after home run.
10:11Beautiful.
10:1157.
10:13Hi, Candy.
10:14Is this yours?
10:14Yeah.
10:17I really like the way that the carpet's done under the seat.
10:24Did you do a satin-finished stainless header?
10:27Is that what's on there?
10:28Did you do the satin?
10:29It's stainless and then the heat coating in it.
10:32Okay, okay.
10:33I love the engine plate, Dave, if you look.
10:35Yeah, that's so much nicer than trying to get a traditional mount and then get the exhaust around it.
10:41It's almost impossible, right?
10:42Yeah.
10:42So you go to the engine plate and you pull the mount right off the front.
10:45See all the ball melt.
10:46Yeah, it's beautiful.
10:47It's a ball melt.
10:49You know, it's almost Christmas and I almost started singing Silver Balls.
10:53Silver Balls?
10:54Yeah, that was just the dust going in.
10:58Okay, so Dave's now moved from dad jokes to middle school jokes.
11:01Come on, man.
11:02Yeah, I got it.
11:02That's, that's, you know how many your dad jokes you're up to?
11:05Try the root chops.
11:06They're wonderful.
11:07I'll be here all weekend.
11:08The root chops.
11:08Get out of here.
11:09I thought we were going to progress, but I see, we seem to be regressing.
11:17Thanks for bringing it out for us.
11:18Yeah, wonderful to meet you.
11:20Nice to meet you.
11:21Very nice to meet you.
11:21Okay, thank you very much.
11:22Cheers.
11:23All right, there's my speed.
11:24How you doing?
11:25Is this you?
11:26Yep.
11:26Beautiful.
11:27That's awesome.
11:28Oh, this is awesome.
11:33You know, I've been eyeballing this Porsche since we got here and I got a ton of questions
11:37about it.
11:37The engine is air-cooled, right?
11:39No, it's water-cooled.
11:40It is water-cooled.
11:40And it's hidden.
11:41The radiator, I can show you where that is.
11:42Yes.
11:42Everything in this car is hidden.
11:45We found we got more power with the water-cooled than we did with the...
11:47Really?
11:48Oh, really?
11:49Because we made this, we cast this block ourselves from the start.
11:52Really?
11:52Everything on this car we've made ourselves.
11:54200 horsepower.
11:55Really?
11:55Without the nitrous.
11:58Oh, yeah, you got to have nitrous.
11:59Why wouldn't you?
11:59If you're not running nitrous in your hot rod, well, I guess you're just not at the top of the peak.
12:04So you know you don't see up?
12:06Yes.
12:06That brings the air into the radiator that's here.
12:08You can look at the back.
12:09It's just in here.
12:10Are we okay to step on this?
12:11Yeah, absolutely.
12:12It's right there.
12:13Look, it's right here.
12:14Radiator's all hidden in the back there.
12:15And then obviously, so you have your intake and exhaust valves up here, and then what controls...
12:20So is there a push rod that goes back down and runs off of the crank?
12:22It's just a little crank in the middle.
12:24Wow!
12:25Three-cellular exhaust is printed Inconel.
12:28Every nut and bolt on this car is either Inconel, titanium, or aluminium.
12:32Oh, this is printed.
12:33Yeah.
12:34Printed.
12:34Yeah.
12:34This is so cool.
12:35Everything that we've done, it weighs sort of 650 kilos, and it's over 200 horsepower without the notches.
12:42Honestly, when we've only looked at a handful of cars, Dave, but the theme that we're noticing
12:47here in Australia for the first time is the details.
12:50It's sort of welded on the inside.
12:52The roll cage is welded through the car.
12:53Oh, unbelievable.
12:54See that red button next to the gauge?
12:56Yes.
12:56That's like the old aircraft.
12:58When you turn it off, it goes choo, choo, choo, choo, choo, choo.
13:01That's cool.
13:01Like each piston, like, lets the air out of it.
13:03This is a really well done 356 outlaw.
13:07This car has it top to bottom inside now.
13:09And they're not just blowing kisses at this bad boy.
13:12They actually drive it.
13:13Yeah.
13:14Dude, it's beautiful.
13:14It's laid out really nice.
13:16Thank you, buddy.
13:16The passmanship's very nice.
13:17Wonderful.
13:18So good job.
13:18Awesome meeting you, Ron.
13:20See you, buddy.
13:20Cheers.
13:24How's it going?
13:25Hell yeah.
13:25This is beautiful.
13:26So the word on the streets is, from what I heard, this is probably one of the nicest
13:30street rods in Australia.
13:32Is that true?
13:33Yeah, I'm pretty humble.
13:34Yeah.
13:34Fair.
13:35No, that's fair.
13:36It's beautiful.
13:36We just took an ugly four-door Chevy and made it something, you know?
13:40In reality, it may be.
13:41But this thing's pretty amazing by anyone's standards.
13:44It's beautiful.
13:45It's beautiful.
13:46I think that's what caught our eyes.
13:47You know, we do a lot of that kind of stuff too.
13:49You know, a lot of the parts that we put on the car are detailed.
13:52I mean, and so it really caught our eye.
13:54You know, you see CNC machine in the bumper bar brackets and the car's all steel,
13:59all original, file, finished, lead, loaded.
14:01Like, we haven't trowed it full of filler.
14:04You know, I've hand-made all the steps and hand-fabricated all the bonnet sides and pull
14:08maxed them and done all those things.
14:10Beautiful.
14:11And the interior, like, if we go around, I've handmade the whole interior,
14:15the whole roof's one piece in the car.
14:17So it goes through the little putting in.
14:20You just did such an amazing job on all the stuff.
14:23Very, like you said, very, very, very detailed.
14:25I mean, and really, that's what it's about.
14:27Spot on.
14:27Yeah, the color is beautiful.
14:29It's just the flop and the metallic and all the things going on in it.
14:31It's just, like I said, the other side of the car looks completely different than this side.
14:34My best employee, so he's 68.
14:38He's never had a car.
14:39This particular builder has a lifelong employee that's been there since day one.
14:43And if you ain't got a guy like this in your shop, well, you're just maybe missing the link.
14:48The last 20 cars out of my shop wouldn't have existed without your best employee.
14:52And then I just said, it's your turn, mate.
14:54We've got to make it happen.
14:55This is what you do it for, but it's not for a trophy.
14:58That stuff doesn't drive me.
14:59Right.
15:00It's the trip and the traveling.
15:02It's the experience.
15:03It's the experience.
15:04Yep.
15:04These are car guys through and through.
15:06Late nights, whatever it takes, they just get the job done.
15:09And this stuff is amazing.
15:10This is beautiful work.
15:11It is beautiful.
15:12Unbelievable.
15:20How cool is this for the first time ever in Australia?
15:23The guys from Kindig Custom Show, Dave and Kevin.
15:27For my first trip to Australia, we were having such a great time.
15:30Getting great opportunities to not only just see cars, but meet some great people.
15:34So what the hell is this thing anyway?
15:35I have no idea.
15:39From the outside, this looks like a true blue American muscle car.
15:43There's one problem, though.
15:46I've never seen a car like this before.
15:48How are you?
15:48Amazing.
15:49Good to see you guys.
15:49How are you?
15:50This is beautiful.
15:51Are you the building owner?
15:53Owner, tiny body.
15:55Very cool.
15:55What are we looking at?
15:56We have no idea what this is.
15:57They don't sell these in the US.
15:59No.
15:591969 Holden Manara.
16:0169.
16:02So like a GM.
16:03So the GM unibody car, V8.
16:06Yeah.
16:06So what's all been done to it?
16:07Because this is the hardest thing that we see.
16:10We don't know what to compare to.
16:11We don't even know what it looks like.
16:12It's a subtle build.
16:13So a lot of smoothing, you know, neatening up, deleting a little bit here and there.
16:19I want straight machining while it's easy, guys.
16:21Yeah.
16:21Really?
16:22Yeah.
16:22Okay.
16:22It's cool.
16:23So it has like that like road race kind of look to it.
16:26Yeah.
16:26Yeah.
16:26You know, it has obviously the wheels like pro-touring.
16:29Yeah, pro-touring.
16:29With this particular car, they made just small changes, but they made huge differences in the
16:34build.
16:34It's just weird to, I mean, for us, I say weird, not that it's an odd thing, but it is odd to us
16:39because we don't have these cars.
16:40You don't get them.
16:41So we don't know what to compare it to.
16:42We don't, I mean, we're looking at like the body shape of the roof rail and how the top is slightly laid
16:46back and the curb to the back window and the quarters, the fender flares.
16:50I mean, I'm looking at all these different shapes and things, which really work well,
16:53but I don't know.
16:54I see some Nova.
16:55I see some Chevelle.
16:56I see some Camaro.
16:57Guys, you just got a little bit of everything.
16:59Yeah.
17:00Nice.
17:00Chevelle, novish.
17:01I was going to say, it like has some Nova features.
17:03Yeah.
17:04It kind of does.
17:05It has like some Camaro features, some Nova.
17:08It has a, it's like a mitt.
17:09I call it a mutt.
17:10This is one of those cars that when you look at it, you know that when they went into this,
17:14they had a set plan.
17:15They knew exactly what they were doing.
17:17Oh, that's awesome.
17:20I get used.
17:21That's cool.
17:22Awesome.
17:22As they should.
17:23That's what they're for, so.
17:24Exactly.
17:24Well, thanks for bringing it out.
17:26That's awesome.
17:26We really appreciate talking to you, buddy.
17:28Thank you so much.
17:29It's a great car.
17:30Beautiful.
17:31Wow.
17:31What, tell me, what do you think about Australia?
17:32Absolutely amazing.
17:34Car culture here is alive and well.
17:36This one.
17:37Oh.
17:37Look at this.
17:42On this particular build, every little box has been checked.
17:45This literally is a very serious, full-on show car.
17:49Much like what you would see in the U.S. as a Riddler or even a Sloniker.
17:53This is absolutely beautiful.
17:55Thank you, sir.
17:55Congratulations.
17:56This car is just amazing.
17:58So what'd you do to it?
17:59Oh, wait.
18:00It's just a little historic.
18:02We had a bit of a go at it.
18:03Yeah, this is amazing.
18:04Yeah, originally, like, bloody Google got me and I was online Googling.
18:08Found a car's engine and so I thought, yeah, bought the engine for the car and then found
18:12the car and yeah, we went from there so it turned to be a really clean, elite level, you know, car.
18:18So and that was part of that and it all sort of worked from there back.
18:23It's a really, really well built, very well built.
18:26I really wanted the car to be at that level where it didn't matter where you looked, whether
18:30you pull a front bumper off or whatever, it's been chopped and buffed.
18:33It's the same as the exterior of the car and that was something I wanted to be done perfectly.
18:36Right.
18:37And even the interior in that, I really wanted the interior to be finished to the same level as the car.
18:41So the car balanced from front to back, inside and outside to that same classic, elite,
18:46you know, custom level.
18:47Right.
18:48Tell us a little bit about the suspension.
18:49What is that?
18:50Is that based off of something you've modified or is it all custom?
18:52It's all custom made.
18:53Everything's custom made.
18:54You know, Toronto, Rack and Pinion steering, apart from that, it's all custom made.
18:58If this was my car, I'd leave it just the way it is.
19:01So let me get this straight.
19:02So you did a Ford-based engine with the Chevrolet transmission?
19:07Yep.
19:08Difficult to get a Ford transmission.
19:10Good job.
19:12Take that back.
19:12I'd move the steering wheel to the other side of the car.
19:14This is weird for me.
19:15Other than that, the car's perfect.
19:18Oh, well, it's a beautiful car.
19:20Absolutely wonderful car.
19:21Thank you so much for bringing it out.
19:22It's a wonderful car to get to look at.
19:24Thanks a lot.
19:25It's such a neat, neat car.
19:26Congratulations.
19:27Thanks guys.
19:28Take it easy.
19:29Looking behind us, there are people everywhere.
19:31You guys are superstars.
19:32You guys are rock stars.
19:34I don't know what else to say.
19:36It's just super surreal.
19:37The people are here to see us and it is just, I don't even know the word for it.
19:42It's unbelievable.
19:43Yeah.
19:44Hey, is this yours?
19:45Yeah.
19:45How you doing, man?
19:47Awesome.
19:47How have you done any burnouts?
19:55Yeah, I've done a few skids, yeah.
19:57Yeah?
19:57It's pretty hard not to.
19:58I love it.
19:59You got a new term.
19:59I love it.
20:00Who needs burnouts or peelouts when you have skids you can do?
20:03What do you got under the hood on this thing?
20:04What is that, LS?
20:05Yeah, Dart 430 cube.
20:07Okay.
20:07Yeah, 871.
20:09Yeah, makes 1430 at the hubs.
20:11Awesome.
20:11There you go.
20:12How long has this been done?
20:13It's very clean.
20:14The way it is, nearly four years.
20:16Four years, really?
20:17So you really have done a lot of skids with it.
20:21Yeah.
20:22I love the color too.
20:23This is the problem that we've been running into here.
20:26Because we've never seen this car before.
20:28Yeah, what type it is, yeah.
20:29So what's been customized and what hasn't been customized, you know?
20:35The roof hasn't.
20:36Because I look at this right here like there used to be a seam, right?
20:40Yeah, there should be a seam on the back.
20:42These normally stop.
20:43There's not one across the back.
20:44There's normally a heater box and everything on the firewall.
20:47The firewall's been moved back 50 mil.
20:50That's normally only like a subframe chassis.
20:52It's a full chassis, full flat floor, tubbed, four link.
20:56Normally they're just coilovers.
20:58Oh, look at that.
21:02That's awesome.
21:02Great custom, great color.
21:04I absolutely love this one.
21:06I really like the blue and black a lot.
21:08I think it's beautiful.
21:09The stripe is just simple, but it's clean and nice.
21:12With all of this, instead of being like a chrome, it makes it look really cool.
21:16That's like a factory fill point, which I wanted to keep.
21:18Oh, uh-huh.
21:19So then you can take this out and put the parachute through.
21:22Oh, okay.
21:22Oh, wow.
21:24And the crazy thing about like this stuff is, it's like, you know, like this anodized aluminum.
21:30It's just, it's not fun to work with, and it all just looks super crisp and nice.
21:34Dude, I know that stuff's a nightmare.
21:36There's so many details on this car.
21:38If you just walk past it once, you're definitely going to miss something.
21:41Great job, man.
21:42Yeah, that's cool.
21:43I'll be back later to get the keys.
21:50Now tell me, what's going on here this weekend?
21:52There are incredible cars on display.
21:54Well, it's a four-wheel super overload, I think is the best way to describe it.
21:58And of course, just getting to know the people down here a little bit better.
22:02You know, I think that's really what kind of encompasses the entire weekend.
22:05It's like I'm at home.
22:13Me too.
22:14You know what's funny is actually it's kind of making it come back to me how much we used to do graphics,
22:20multi-colors, flames, and pinstriping.
22:22Remember all that?
22:23So when I see trucks like these, it just takes me right back to when I started
22:28a customizing car.
22:28I had a mini truck.
22:29I was a mini trucker.
22:31This is actually really cool.
22:32I'm sitting here taking in all of the flame job.
22:33And I remember how many flame jobs we did back in the days.
22:36And, you know, doing the overlap, different colors, different textures.
22:39See the heavy monster flake in there?
22:41Yep.
22:42And then the multicolored pinstripe.
22:44The fade from one color over another color back over the same color.
22:47Yeah.
22:48You know?
22:49Remember I did my dually that color?
22:51The black and the flame one?
22:52Inside the bed, it has the white.
22:53Oh, that's so cool.
22:54I didn't even notice that until just now.
22:55Yeah, that's cool.
22:56A lot of detail on this thing that...
22:57Yeah, and the dash has all been painted.
22:59It's so cool.
23:00It is.
23:00You did one like that, full painted dash, didn't you?
23:02I didn't know I did my dually that way.
23:05Oh, that's right.
23:05Azuzu was tweed, you know?
23:06Right.
23:07That's what you did back then.
23:10Yeah, look at this.
23:11All of this stuff.
23:13Firewall shaped off.
23:16Far out.
23:17Yeah, that's super cool.
23:18That's so cool.
23:19Super cool.
23:20Oh, it's old school.
23:21Look at the steering wheel and stuff too.
23:24And so we would have just called this a Toyota.
23:26So I wonder, is this a Hilux here?
23:28I think it's a Toyota.
23:29I think it's a...
23:30I don't know, would it be a...
23:31It is.
23:32But it's a Hilux?
23:33Yeah.
23:33Huh.
23:34I've seen this truck in magazines before, and here it is.
23:37All the way around the other side of the earth.
23:40Take me right back to my childhood.
23:43Picture me rolling.
23:43That's awesome.
23:44You spend your life around cars, around the best cars in the world.
23:48What do you think of our supercars?
23:50Some of the take and some of the creativity that they put into these, like I said, some
23:54of these things I would have never even thought about.
23:56I might be taking somebody this back home.
23:57Is this yours?
23:58Yes, it is.
23:59Oh, this is...
23:59What is this?
24:00Well, this is our iconic Falcon.
24:03It's a Falcon?
24:04Yeah.
24:04This is a Falcon.
24:05Yep.
24:06So that's based on Ford?
24:07Ford, yes.
24:08Oh, okay.
24:08The biggest question for me is, did the Ford Falcon or did the Falcon in Australia come first?
24:13Chicken or the egg?
24:14If Ford was able to make a drag pack Falcon back in the day, this is what you got.
24:19So then you have stuffed the biggest engine possible into the engine bay.
24:24Yes.
24:25With moving everything out of the way.
24:26That is awesome.
24:27There's nothing really standard about this one, but it looks standard.
24:31A lot of the guys here cut the front of the towers and put a flat plate in there.
24:35I didn't like that.
24:36Look, I wanted to keep it factory as I could.
24:38Stockish, right?
24:38So we cut the whole tower out, took 70 mil out of the back of it, welded them back in,
24:43but then that pushed all my steering and suspension out.
24:46Right.
24:46So then I had to shorten all the arms, but I wanted to keep them factory.
24:50I didn't want any molly tube and aftermarket stuff.
24:52Right.
24:53We shorted the original arms and brought all the wheels back in,
24:56sunk the wheel bearings in to get the wheels to come back in, but that's just, yeah.
25:01It's so crazy that, like, you're throwing these massive amounts of horsepower in these, like,
25:06unibody cars, right?
25:07Right.
25:08This is a lot of power with not a lot of space.
25:10So are you, you're fully tubbed then and obviously in the back here?
25:13Well, we've mini-tubbed the car.
25:15Okay.
25:15So I've obviously cut the tub out, moved the tub over, put a band in it.
25:20But to get the wheel, that tight wheel, a lot of the guys cut the dog leg.
25:26Oh, uh-huh.
25:27And then you have, you have a narrow dog leg to a wide dog leg.
25:31Oh, I see. Okay.
25:32So I moved the dog leg forward and cut the door and put all the, put all the original
25:38Wow.
25:38back in.
25:39So the dog leg got cut, moved forward.
25:42We moved the water back as well.
25:44So the center of the wheel back where it's supposed to go.
25:46That's exactly where it is because the fuel tank's been narrowed.
25:49Right.
25:50Cut the tank clean.
25:51Narrowed the tank because when I tubbed it, I narrowed the boot floor and raised the boot floor.
25:56So I could have the mufflers at the back, but I didn't want to see them.
26:00You went through an awful lot of work to keep the car looking basically stock.
26:04Yes.
26:04So this is truly an Australian sleeper.
26:07So tell me, what makes the best custom car?
26:10What is it?
26:10What, what in particular are you looking for?
26:12You know, attention to detail, color contrast, uh, engineering, the, uh,
26:16the amount of work that goes into our cars, I understand very well because we're,
26:19you know, invested into that.
26:21So come down here and see the same kind of work.
26:23But what's really interesting, and I think I speak for both of us,
26:26is a lot of these cars, we don't get up there.
26:27So to see somebody else's full custom takes on cars that we've never really experienced,
26:32is, uh, it's, it's pretty cool to actually just see that.
26:35I've never seen so many radical four doors in my life.
26:38Is this, uh, is this yours?
26:39No, no, mate.
26:40We built it.
26:40My shop built it.
26:41That is awesome.
26:42Very cool.
26:42That is awesome.
26:42So we're a little more familiar, I think, with this.
26:44Yes, 100%.
26:52Now this is a car I'm very familiar with.
26:53Yeah, typical American.
26:5454?
26:55Yes, 54 sports wheels.
26:56Very cool.
26:56I think the biggest question that I have is why so many carburetors?
27:01Uh, something different.
27:02But why not?
27:02Old school, quad webers.
27:03That's fair, that's fair, that's fair.
27:05Love the colors.
27:06Love the wheels.
27:07They're Mike Curtis wheels.
27:08Oh, those are nice.
27:09Nice.
27:10Yep.
27:10Very cool.
27:11Beautiful.
27:12Very cool.
27:12Let's take a look around this.
27:13That's a full function, an Esky.
27:15And he puts his beer in it.
27:16That's awesome.
27:17And what do you call it?
27:18We call it a cooler.
27:19Cool cooler, yeah.
27:19I'm taking these words back home.
27:22Yeah.
27:23What is it?
27:23An Esky.
27:24An Esky.
27:25Okay, like an Eskimo box, right?
27:29Esky.
27:30Short for Eskimo.
27:31I love learning new words.
27:32Believe it or not, I'm quite the linguist.
27:35My world is just expanding right in front of your eyes.
27:44Got a little pearl in the roof as well?
27:46Yeah, pearl in the roof, yeah.
27:47So that really ties it in with the blue.
27:49That's cool.
27:49It does.
27:50Not too many sports groups over here.
27:52No.
27:52So there's a few pillars, not the pillar of sports group.
27:54There's not many out of your own, so.
27:56Beautiful.
27:57Yeah, I love the color too.
27:59This car is clean, classy, and custom.
28:01Lots of great styling cues, and it's done perfectly.
28:03All right, all right, all right.
28:04It's gorgeous.
28:05Well, again, thank you.
28:06Congrats, man.
28:07Thanks so much for bringing it in.
28:08Wonderful car.
28:08It's beautiful, it's beautiful.
28:09No worries.
28:10All right, so what we're going to do this time around with the Q&A,
28:13we're going to have a little bit of what we call them versus us.
28:16I've done some research on the US versus Australian car terms.
28:20What you say and what we say.
28:23So let's start it off by saying you guys have a selling in the US called parking lot.
28:28Is that right?
28:28Parking lot.
28:29Yeah, parking lot.
28:30That's where you park your car.
28:31What do we say in Australia?
28:32Car!
28:34Car park.
28:35Now, when you take your car out, you need to put some fuel in it before you go out cruising.
28:39Where do you go to do that?
28:40You go to a gas station.
28:42Well, what do we do in Australia?
28:43What do we call it?
28:43Fuel!
28:45Servo!
28:45Servo!
28:46Put an O at the end of a service station.
28:49Not the rest of it.
28:50We ain't got time for that.
28:51It's servo.
28:53All right.
28:53Now, you're inside the car.
28:54You're driving along.
28:56You want to pull a cookie or throw a U-bolt.
28:59Yeah, I like that one.
29:00What do you use to turn the car around?
29:02What do you guys call it?
29:03An air brake.
29:04No, no, no, no.
29:05What do we call it?
29:06An air brake.
29:07It's a air brake.
29:08Well, that makes sense.
29:09I'll give you that one.
29:10I'll give you guys that one.
29:11I like this one.
29:12This one's a cool one.
29:13Holding the wheel on, there's a little nut.
29:15What do you call that nut?
29:16Lug nuts.
29:17Lug nuts?
29:18Yeah.
29:19Now, what do we call them?
29:20Lug nuts.
29:21Wheel nuts.
29:22Because that's what they are.
29:23A quick disclaimer on the next one.
29:25I know that it is not even a product that's in your shop,
29:28but what do you use to smear across door handles when you're really young and
29:32you're not good at crafting them?
29:33And it starts with a B and it's got an O.
29:35A body filler.
29:37What do you call it?
29:37Bondo.
29:38Bondo.
29:38Bondo.
29:39It's been called Bondo.
29:40We don't call that anymore.
29:41We're nice and quiet.
29:42Really loud.
29:43What do we call it?
29:44Bondo.
29:45Bondo.
29:45Bondo.
29:46Call it what?
29:46Bondo.
29:47Bondo.
29:48Bondo.
29:48I can't even say that.
29:50B-O-G.
29:50Bondo.
29:51Bondo.
29:52Bondo.
29:52Bondo.
29:53Bondo.
29:53Like fog, but bog.
29:55You know, like the full drive tires, boggers.
29:57I'm not following you guys.
29:58I'm out of here.
30:06Car culture down here is really what we came down here for.
30:09We have a lot of fans, a lot of great friends actually that live down here.
30:11To be able to actually come down here and experience it, see cars that we don't ever
30:15get to see before, but people have the same passion for those cars, I think that's really
30:19what's been one of the fun sparks.
30:20Wouldn't you agree?
30:21100%.
30:22So this is actually really close to a grand, yeah, GTO.
30:26Right.
30:26But the back window's a lot taller.
30:28Yeah, it's a bit different, but it is still basically the same style of unibody.
30:32You know, there's a lot of cars that resemble or just are cars that we see back at home and
30:37belong back at home.
30:38There is a little bit of difference here.
30:39Oh, this turned off as a ute.
30:42Oh, this was a ute.
30:44This is a pretty fancy little ute, if I say so.
30:47Look at that.
30:47So that's why that top looks so much different.
30:49Well, we cut it off through the A-pillars.
30:51Right.
30:51Took all the ute body off.
30:53Did the same to the sedan, put it back on.
30:55The doors are 287 mil longer.
30:58How many inches is that?
31:00I'm just going to have to take this guy's word for it.
31:02I don't do metric.
31:03It's about a foot for you guys.
31:05What's that?
31:06287 mil, just under a foot for you guys.
31:08You said there would be no math, man.
31:09Come on.
31:10You know why they don't sell a quarter pounder here?
31:13Because of the metric system.
31:13They do sell a quarter pounder here.
31:15Never mind.
31:15Let's talk about the car.
31:20Hey, mate.
31:20I'll take a 1.2 kilogram burger with cheese, please.
31:24I love how you guys have got this.
31:26It just looks clean and smooth.
31:29I love the door handle.
31:30The color is awesome.
31:32We like your door handles, but we came up with something.
31:34This is sweet, yeah.
31:35We're a little different.
31:36No, that's not really easier to do.
31:38Well, yeah, yeah.
31:39I think one of the biggest, coolest things is hot rodding is an adaptive sport.
31:43Basically, you take what you got and you make it cooler, right?
31:46And they do exactly that down here in Australia.
31:48Well, we've noticed something actually that is, I think,
31:51a great tribute to Australian craftsmen is you guys come up with so many unique ideas
31:55because you don't have necessarily the same kind of avenues that we have
31:59buying a lot of different parts we just made.
32:01Yeah, that's true.
32:01So you guys get very ingenuitive and very crafty.
32:04Yeah.
32:04There are engines, and then there is this.
32:07Hi, love.
32:07How are you?
32:09Really good, thank you.
32:10Twin turbos.
32:11This car has a huge engine, and I'm guessing there's nothing stock about this bad boy.
32:15How is the Lexus engine?
32:16Good, strong, strong.
32:18Six-bolt mains.
32:18Woo!
32:19How much horsepower?
32:201,000 built.
32:21Yeah, that's awesome.
32:221,000 horsepower?
32:25You could definitely get to the grocery store and get your Vegemite real quick.
32:28No, it's a Ford, right?
32:29Mm-hmm.
32:30It has so much Chevy in the back.
32:34Right.
32:34I think, like, in the quarters.
32:36Right.
32:36But the front says Ford all day, right?
32:37Yeah, exactly.
32:38It's so crazy.
32:40Like, I walked up on it, and I thought it was...
32:41I thought it was a Chevrolet project.
32:43100%.
32:43Looks like a Ford mixed with a Chevy.
32:46Every time we turn around here, we're seeing something that we've never seen before.
32:49I noticed these.
32:50Yeah, so...
32:51This isn't something that we see a lot of, you know, in the States.
32:54It's usually open wheel, right?
32:56Yeah, so we've got to run a fender here for legal reasons, but the other thing,
33:01because we're a shop that we build things, we like to show what we can do.
33:05Oh, totally.
33:06Our apprentice made all the fenders, and the number plate's around.
33:10She's got a rolled pan on the back.
33:12The exhaust is cut out and comes up in the back, so it's different.
33:15We like to do different things.
33:17It's not just every standard...
33:18Right.
33:19So they have a lot of regulations here that all of these cars have to fall within.
33:23They have to get way more creative on some of these things.
33:26Monero, how you doing, man?
33:27Hey, man.
33:28Cool car.
33:28How's it going, man?
33:29I'm glad you're doing.
33:30Very nice to meet you.
33:30As you would know in America, it's the GTO.
33:32Yep, GTO.
33:32Yeah.
33:36That's it, so...
33:37What year is this?
33:38So, 2002.
33:39Yep, 2002.
33:40I bought it brand new off the showroom floor, and...
33:43And voided all the warranties.
33:45Correct, yeah.
33:46From day one, actually.
33:47Oh, it looks cool.
33:47That's so cool.
33:48You've done a lot of work to it, huh?
33:50Yeah, yeah.
33:50So, a lot of work in the engine bay.
33:52Everything's custom fiberglass, one off.
33:54Right.
33:55Oh, that's beautiful.
33:56Look at all these panels and stuff.
33:57Yeah, that's it.
33:57Correct, yeah.
33:58For over 20 years, this guy has enjoyed his car.
34:01He's added to it.
34:02And if you ask me, it's just straight bitching.
34:04It's a pleasure, man.
34:05Great to meet you.
34:06Thank you for coming.
34:08Let me guess.
34:09Fort Anglia.
34:10You're right.
34:11Right.
34:11This car's chopped down and looks mean.
34:20I think the ingenuity that you guys do for your hot rods,
34:23the fact that you guys stay so committed to finishing the cars
34:26and making them to where they're roadworthy
34:28and going through all of the hoops that you have to do
34:30to get them street legal, I think it's just amazing.
34:34And how many cars are here.
34:35Oh, they're quality.
34:36Good cars.
34:36All of those people, all of you guys, the car community,
34:39going through those hoops is just awesome.
34:41It looks like you drive it and enjoy it,
34:42and I think that's probably one of the most important things
34:44while installing.
34:45Enjoy the show.
34:46Thanks for playing it out.
34:47Cheers, yeah.
34:47Take care, man.
34:48Good to see you.
34:50That's awesome.
34:50This is definitely one of the more peculiar cars
34:53I think I've ever seen.
34:54What is this?
34:55I have no idea.
34:56It's like a Volkswagen thing.
34:57I did see.
34:59This is yours?
35:00I believe this is a Kiwi.
35:02It is a Kiwi.
35:07Is this Kiwi the donut lover?
35:09It's Kevin the Kiwi.
35:10Kevin the Kiwi.
35:11Oh, really?
35:12They named Kiwi after me.
35:14I don't know how I feel about this.
35:15And the donuts because you like donuts.
35:18Yep, this is me.
35:18There you go.
35:19Sprinklers are for winners.
35:21This is cool.
35:21What is this?
35:22And what kind of car is this?
35:23I don't know.
35:23Morris Minor Low Light.
35:25Okay, okay.
35:261950, and she's for Ruby because she's red.
35:29Wow.
35:291950, it's beautiful.
35:31So 1950, so is that the stock motor in it still?
35:34No.
35:34It's been changed up?
35:36Yeah.
35:36My husband did it all.
35:37It's cool.
35:38That's cool.
35:41What a great looking fun project.
35:43Well, that's beautiful.
35:44How long have you guys had it done and how long have you guys been enjoying it and driving it around?
35:48So I finished it probably about a year ago.
35:50A year ago.
35:51Cool.
35:51We found it about 18 months.
35:53Oh, cool.
35:54It was a rust bucket.
35:55Wow.
35:56So you really moved through it then, 18 months.
35:59That's it.
35:59That's what it was when it started.
36:01Oh, wow.
36:03This is awesome though.
36:04That's beautiful.
36:04It's different.
36:05They've documented all of the memories of building this car.
36:08And that means something that's very important to us.
36:10Families and Hot Rods really goes together quite well all over the world.
36:14Thank you so much.
36:15Very, very nice to meet you guys.
36:15It was a pleasure.
36:17What's up, man?
36:22How you going, buddy?
36:23This is good.
36:23Hey, good, good.
36:24How are you?
36:24Something different.
36:25How you going, bud?
36:26Hello.
36:26I'm Rob Spike.
36:27Rob, nice to meet you.
36:27How's it going, man?
36:28Pleasure.
36:28Pleasure.
36:29Love the paint.
36:30Love the paint.
36:30It's awesome.
36:31Yeah, something different.
36:32Yeah.
36:33Not everyone's cup of tea, but the color flips get you.
36:36Right, right, right.
36:36Yeah, it's a chameleon.
36:37Yeah.
36:38Yeah, yeah.
36:39So here in Australia, the tuner seat is just as big as it is in the United States.
36:44Man, you've got a lot of work done on this thing.
36:45Yeah.
36:46Pretty cool.
36:46All the custom wheels, custom one-off no one else has got, billy aluminium wheels,
36:50and then change the interior.
36:51The front seats were bought, the rear seats are all being retrimmed.
36:53Very cool.
36:54350 kilowatts on all four wheels.
36:56Nice.
36:57Let's say the look and the OST comes in two liters.
36:59There you go.
37:00Nice.
37:01I like that.
37:01I like that.
37:03That's awesome.
37:03Hey, this is really cool.
37:05This one here is an EVO 8MR.
37:06Okay.
37:06It's a plate.
37:07So 2004 model import.
37:09Uh-huh.
37:10Yeah.
37:10Then it had the motor rebuilt, the gearbox rebuilt, and then went from there.
37:14Right, right.
37:15This car has a ton of power, some cool body mods, and he even brought another one.
37:19And then that one's a little bit...
37:20A bit more chunkier.
37:21A little more chunkier.
37:22Yeah, exactly.
37:23So these are nine and a half inch wheels, and they're ten and a half inch rims.
37:25Oh, geez.
37:26Wow.
37:26So that's the standard body, and this is a lot wider.
37:28So this obviously has been modified, right?
37:30This has been modified as well.
37:32This was originally our EVO 7 2001 model, which you would have seen on Fast and Furious movies.
37:36Right, right, right.
37:37And then the body kit was an APR kit my friend fitted a while ago.
37:41This body kit, I believe no one else has really got this in Australia.
37:43I haven't really seen too many that actually have it.
37:45Oh, really?
37:45A lot of people have it and bolt it on and cut the wheel arches out, whereas this is all
37:48being put on, molded in, made fit.
37:50Made fit.
37:50There was a lot of work to try to make, you would understand.
37:52Yeah.
37:52And I think on that whole note is that a lot of people don't understand just because
37:56you buy a part, it doesn't mean it's going to fit the car like it's...
37:58It resembles something true.
37:59Like it's advertised.
38:00Usually that's when the work starts is when you actually get the part and you have to
38:04make it fit your car perfectly.
38:05It was like the rear door.
38:06The rear door never had that door line in it.
38:09It was always missing.
38:09It looked like the door was off a different car.
38:10Right.
38:11Right.
38:11So I had to put that door line in it and then Michael would...
38:13Yeah, it was a lot of work in it.
38:14Yeah.
38:14This is wicked.
38:15Yeah, this is super cool.
38:16Well, thank you.
38:18Thank you so much for bringing it up.
38:19Thanks for meeting you.
38:20Thanks for being a pleasure.
38:22For as much fun as we're having right now, unfortunately, we're coming up to the end.
38:25All right.
38:25So it's the moment of truth.
38:28All right.
38:28So it's the moment of truth.
38:31There's going to be some really happy people.
38:33And a couple of disappointed people.
38:34It's true.
38:35But it was very tough.
38:36This is part of life.
38:36There's beautiful cars everywhere.
38:39Kevin and I are considered the thunder from down under this week, and we're having a great time.
38:43It's time for us now to make a decision on which show car we're going to pick as our best.
38:47Okay, I'm kidding about the thunder from now on under thing.
38:49It's just me.
38:50Kevin's really not in the running.
38:52In a close second.
38:55The Americana in this country is absolutely bonkers.
38:59Almost rivals America itself.
39:01I'd have to agree with that.
39:02Yeah.
39:03America, you better step your game up.
39:04That's right.
39:05Let's go give this award away.
39:06Let's go give some awards away.
39:08Thank you very much, you guys.
39:10Wow.
39:11What a way to welcome us into a new country.
39:14First time here, and we've been just absolutely dazzled.
39:18The people have been great.
39:20The cars that you guys have brought out here are amazing.
39:23I have to say, the turnout has been awesome.
39:25This is so humbling to come down here finally and get to check out all of the culture and the hot rods.
39:31Now we've got a lot of nice cars here.
39:33We've got a certain amount of winners.
39:35We're going to roll into it.
39:36Dave's favorite.
39:36Oh, thank you.
39:38Cheers.
39:38We're going to find a vehicle, but the last award in this section, entrance.
39:43No, it's the 55 Pontiac of Shane Withers.
39:46Well done, Shane.
39:49Dave, tough one, mate.
39:50Awesome car.
39:50Dave's fave is always a tough one because I'm a car guy.
39:53Four wheels and a steering wheel, and that's all it takes.
39:56There we go.
39:58Now, of course, that was Dave's favorite.
40:01What does this say?
40:03What does that say on the awards?
40:04Yeah, it's Camp Dingo's Choice.
40:09We've won it all then.
40:10Camp Dingo's Choice.
40:12And it goes to the VEHDDU of Paul Amato.
40:17Well done, Colleen.
40:20Hey, you still want to buy it?
40:21Is this for sale or do you want to buy it?
40:22All right, guys.
40:25Next up, we're going to go in at the top five in no particular order.
40:29Ron Goodman.
40:31Mr. Ron Goodman.
40:35Wonderful congratulations.
40:37The award goes to an LJ Toronto by Luke Mitchell.
40:45Hallelujah, the size of him.
40:48XYGT Falcon of Jason Mansueto.
40:52The 1954 Chevrolet of Mike Davidson.
41:00Well done, Mike.
41:01Give him a round of applause.
41:03A great result for Mike.
41:06The next one is the HR Holden Ute of Craig McKenzie in that incredible white Ute.
41:11Rounding out our top five.
41:14The top five, really, 52 cab over of Rob Dickson.
41:18Well done, Rob.
41:19We've seen some crazy, crazy stuff down here.
41:23It's going to be super hard to just pick one.
41:26Just talk us through the process of finding the number one car.
41:30What you guys will do.
41:33Well, it starts with a great display.
41:36You have to be able to see around the car.
41:38This vehicle that we picked was actually very well displayed, very well lit.
41:42The color choice was also a big point of that.
41:45Color contrast is always something I'm very passionate about, and I think Kevin can agree with that.
41:49He usually second guesses me until it's done, and then he agrees that, okay, that was all right.
41:54The third part of that, crawling around, looking at all the details.
41:58When you look at a car, the level of the build, of the car that we picked,
42:02what you're looking for is not what's right.
42:04You're actually just trying to find something wrong.
42:06And when it takes you more than a half an hour to find a speck of dust,
42:11or a screw that maybe needs to be turned in just a little bit tighter,
42:16you know that you found the gem.
42:19Our elite winner for the Elite Car Show is the XY Ford Falcon of Dan Morton.
42:26Very well, very well put together.
42:37Between the race, the car show, the jets, everything that's happened down here,
42:41we have had such a great time.
42:42I cannot wait to come back next year.
42:46This has been one bitchin' tour from Down Under.
42:48You should be very proud of that build, and congratulations.
42:51Kevin, I don't know if you could ever have a better experience in Australia for the very first time.
42:56I don't know what to say.
42:57I am speechless of so many things here.
43:00It's the people, the cars, the events.
43:04I mean, the car show has been awesome.
43:06The people here, amazing.
43:08The view, the weather.
43:09I mean, honestly, I don't think I could ever come back.
43:12All the new words we've learned.
43:14I really think we and Condigate Design as a team have really left a mark on Australia.
43:18So I think people are ready to just call it.
43:20I think you're right.
43:21I don't want to go home.
43:22I don't either, but we have to.
43:23We've got to get back to the shop.
43:24Yeah, that's true.
43:25Let's go.
43:26Okay, see you.
