00:00The PWD ID cannot be denied. It was approved by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
00:07Because of the program Mike Abbe-Live, DSWD Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Irene Dumlao
00:15said that with the help of the Unified PWD ID System, it will become a central authority for the issue of physical and digital ID.
00:25In the past few years, the process of ID and the local government issued ID manually through the PWD Affairs Office.
00:36Meanwhile, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is pleased with the dedication of the DSWD,
00:44especially whenever there is a calamity where the government's actions are noticed
00:49to help the affected countrymen.
00:53So through this initiative, we will have one-sided PWD ID.
01:00It's RFID-enabled card.
01:03It has a QR code. It's easy to verify through the system.
01:07So we can be sure that it will not be taken, it will not be copied, and it will not be used for temporary PWD ID.
01:19And we can be sure that the benefits and privileges for persons with disabilities will be given to them.
01:27This serves as an inspiration and a motivation for us to continue to provide services to our countrymen in need.
