00:00Motorists, baobao drivers, and pump boat operators in Dinagat Islands learned a new skill through Test the Small Engine Maintenance training.

00:17Around 30 motorists, baobao drivers, and pump boat operators in the province of Dinagat Islands
00:23recently participated in the Free Small Engine Maintenance training
00:27spearheaded by the Technical Education and Skills Development with the assistance of the Public Employment and Services Office of the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands,
00:36held in Barangay Santa Cruz in the town of San Jose.
00:39According to Test the Provincial Director Alan S. Milan, the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands requested to prioritize the Small Engine Maintenance training
00:47to strengthen the land and sea transportation in the province and help drivers gain knowledge on preventive maintenance and how to repair their vehicle for public transport.
00:56Reynaldo Villa Iso, a baobao driver, was grateful for the additional skill he received from TESDA.
01:02Now that he knows how to repair his baobao, he is not afraid to travel to far places and will no longer hire and pay a mechanic for the maintenance of his vehicle, which is cost-efficient.
01:13I am grateful to TESDA for providing me with the skills to repair my baobao.
