00:00Many pieces of dirt were removed today by the Intramuros Administration and the Embassy of Germany on the walls of Fort Santiago.
00:10I believe this is the first time that it was thoroughly cleaned. Before, it was manually cleaned. We did not have that innovative tool to do the thorough cleaning.
00:19But now, with the help of Karcher, we'll be able to thoroughly clean our walls.
00:24The German technology of Karcher was used in the careful cleaning of the walls of Fort Santiago.
00:31It is said that a lot of care is needed so that the stones used to make the walls of this heritage site will not be affected.
00:41For this project, we are using Karcher's steam cleaning technology and gentle chemical-free method that effectively removes dirt, pollution, and biological growth
00:51while keeping the original structure in its best condition.
00:55The goal of the Intramuros Administration in this project is to take care of and beautify Fort Santiago
01:03for the enjoyment of many tourists in the country and to make Intramuros known as the world's leading tourist attraction.

01:18This project not only preserves the architectural beauty of Fort Santiago, but it also strengthens the cultural ties between our nations.
