00:00The transaction of the members and first pensioners of GSIS will be made easier through their Digital Business Center.

00:08This is the story of Christian Basconez.

00:13The Government Service Insurance System or GSIS has formally launched the new Digital Business Center or DBC here in Quezon City.

00:21The GSIS-DBC was launched by the leaders of several government agencies

00:26including Arta Director General Ernesto Perez, General Manager of PTB Antonio Baltazar or Toby Nebrida,

00:33and members of PIA, PNA, CSC, and others.

00:38The DBC provides alternative services to GSIS branches that are able to speed up the transaction of members and pensioners.

00:45This is part of the Government's plans to make it easier and simplify the processes of government agencies through digitalization.

00:54According to President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr., services to the government should not be difficult.

01:01You know, digitalization is an answer to the so-called ease of doing business.

01:07And not only to the ease of doing business, but also to transparency.

01:12Our government agencies that want to check if they can afford it,

01:17they don't need to go out and go to the GSIS office.

01:22That is the guidance that we are giving to our members.

01:26The guidance of our beloved President Ferdinand Marquez Jr.

01:30is an instruction to me that can be done immediately for our government agencies.

01:37Through the DBC, GSIS members no longer need to queue for a long time,

01:42especially the pensioners.

01:43Using the GSIS mobile application, you can now access your account,

01:47contributions, loan eligibility, benefits, and pension of members.

01:52Almost 100% of the GSIS branches in the Philippines use Digital 360 or DBC.

01:59After the launching of DBC in Quezon City,

02:02it is expected that it will be able to provide services to more than 300,000 GSIS members in the National Capital Region.

02:08The target of GSIS this year is to complete up to 100% digitalization in the entire country.
