00:00On my daily walks, I'm really usually thinking about all of my tasks for the day, things
00:14I want to accomplish, things I need to address.
00:17When I'm walking to work, I'm always astounded.
00:19Hold on, let's get out of the street.
00:23Shocked by the beauty of the city.
00:25Okay, the day never ends.
00:30Hi.
00:41They're running out really quickly.
00:42There's only eight egg whites left.
00:47Do you want to come back?
00:50No, I have to get to work.
00:52Okay.
00:53I'm going to take six egg whites, and I'll take four of the regular, and I'll bring them
00:59to work.
01:00Hi, baby.
01:01Do you have lipstick on?
01:02No, I can't put anything on like ChapStick.
01:11A crazy day, and then I have Demi later tonight.
01:19Give her my love.
01:20I will.
01:21Do you want to see the puppies?
01:22Yeah, I want to see the babies.
01:23She misses you.
01:24I'm going to be home soon, but I love you.
01:29This is where the magic happens.
01:43Look who she is, in her winter wonderland.
01:45This is for the Met Gala for Divine, a really special little moment, and I love this little
01:51vignette.
02:02So here's how we kind of look at different brands that we do.
02:05This is some of the imagery, kind of, of part of our Banana Republic campaign.
02:10We did Home for the Holidays for San Francisco.
02:14Banana Republic's about the modern explorer, and so we thought, what about exploring our
02:18own home city?
02:20And that was the campaign before, where we worked with Carolyn Murphy, and both styled
02:26by Tani Goodman.
02:28All in the family, all collaborations, an American icon for an American icon.
02:34And then here, how we start to work on kind of development of new retail concepts around
02:40Gap, My Dream Imaginarium, Banana Republic, Instagram Matrix.
02:47And then a lot of work around Old Navy, here, on this wall.
02:51These walls change constantly, but it helps me keep track of everything from different
02:56color blue codes within a brand, and just the architecture of how it works.
03:01It's pretty similar.
03:02It's like a couture gown is very similar, with all the components that go into it, to
03:07designing a brand.
03:09It has to move through space, it has to fit perfectly, and it has to serve its function
03:15and be perfectly balanced.
03:20Okay, here to launch.
03:36Hello.
03:37Hi.
03:38Hi.
03:39Welcome home.
03:42This is like the top secret room.
03:44We need to check your badges.
03:45Hold on.
03:46Out.
03:47Calvin runs creative at Gap Brand.
03:49We're just here to kind of review some collateral, and kind of how a brand evolves.
03:54You know, Calvin works meticulously on the brand, on marketing, you know, and everything
03:59across Gap Brand.
04:00Hold on, let's go.
04:01Oh.
04:02Uh-uh.
04:03Can't go over there.
04:04Come on.
04:06So we're here.
04:11Really exciting.
04:12Little sneak peek.
04:14Liz walk us through.
04:20And that's the line?
04:21Yeah.
04:22Here, let's look.
04:23Yep.
04:24So that's pretty much everything.
04:25It'd be great to see, like, see how that looks on the body.
04:27I mean, we did so many fittings on it.
04:29We have it.
04:30Oh.
04:31That is so beautiful.
04:32So that's so cool.
04:33So it just ties?
04:34Mm-hmm.
04:35All right.
04:36Let's go over some men's stuff.
04:37This is Noah.
04:41This is the ASMR moment of quality.
04:49It's Old Navy.
04:51Collaboration is everything in life, making decisions, owning them, and trust.
05:00This is Aya.
05:01This is the CEO of Old Navy.
05:04This is the man, the myth, the magician, the business maker.
05:09I'm the one who actually gets to work with him.
05:11He's the beauty.
05:12I'm the beast.
05:13I mean, wouldn't you want to have that on the print here, too?
05:24Oh, yes.
05:25Definitely.
05:26And that's going to take real development.
05:27Yeah.
05:28I'm here with Nikki.
05:29Nikki and I have a lot of fun in these quick moments, in these zones, and we actually get
05:33really productive.
05:34We get a lot done.
05:35Yes.
05:36And we can drive and work in high speed really well together.
05:39Yes.
05:40Maybe we work on some carved wood buttons.
05:43That could...
05:44Ooh.
05:45That's just almost so it gets a cameo, because that feels cooler than the crystallization.
05:50True.
05:51Just throwing that out there.
05:52And it could be heads of our animals, right?
05:59So it brings in something.
06:01There's something yummy about those kind of earthenware, yummy brown tiles.
06:07Like that would be a beautiful Macintosh raincoat in that dark maroon red.
06:12I love this.
06:13Isn't that gorgeous?
06:14I'm obsessed.
06:15Where did you find that?
06:16This is from Italy, from Caffesi.
06:17It's amazing.
06:18And it's a new dye technique they're doing.
06:19I like that it's like a camo without being a camo in that sense.
06:23Obviously, it's going to be nice to have those interesting corduroys.
06:25Tons of corduroys.
06:27I like the one inchers, because I can't find those.
06:32Can I show you something?
06:33Yeah, show it to me.
06:34I was just on the phone touching it.
06:36Where is it?
06:37No.
06:38It's down here.
06:39This one.
06:40That one.
06:41Well, that's amazing.
06:42A double.
06:43And then some of the prints are coming in.
06:44And that's just to die for.
06:45I mean...
06:46I also think it could be nice, the corduroy, to do it as a button instead of a zip.
06:49Oh, yes.
06:50A button fly.
06:51There's something like luxury about that.
06:52Yes.
06:53I also think you could do a little bit more of a high-waisted.
06:56With the pleat.
06:57So, here's what the secret to know about Banana Republic men's is that we really work with
07:04some of the finest fabrics available.
07:06It's pretty incredible.
07:20So, I got Kermie, Richard, and my man.
07:27So, tonight, Demi Moore is wearing this to the San Francisco Film Festival.
07:33It's really the first piece that I've designed within the Gap line besides the Anne Hathaway
07:39dress and some one-of-a-kind numbers.
07:41Demi and I officially met on a Vogue set when she was last on the cover of American Vogue.
07:49I made a custom dress for her.
07:51I was on a terrace with a New York City background.
07:55It was kind of like one of those kismet moments.
07:57We connected.
07:58I love her and her family, and she's been an incredible support and inspiration and
08:07a very great friend now for many, many years.
08:10I'm really excited to debut this.
08:12It's our cropped, coated denim moto, and then it has this great kind of t-shirt tank gown
08:18underneath with great seaming.
08:21It's really comfortable, really cool, like the lady who's debuting it.
08:26I got to get ready, so you guys got to get out.
08:29Bye.
08:40Okay, Vogue.
08:41I got to go pick up my date.
08:42This is where I leave you.
08:44Have a good night.
08:51Bye.
