00:00The National Association has set too high a target when it wants to compete for 18 seats in this year's Sabah PRN, says political analyst James Chin.
00:14It is said that the 2020 PRN, where 11 out of 18 seats were won in the competition, cannot be used as a benchmark because the political landscape in Sabah has changed dramatically.
00:26It is said that most of the opinions are now weak in Sabah, with the majority of the candidates who can win have joined the Sabah people's coalition or other parties.
00:36Last week, PM Hamzah Zainuddin said that the coalition aims to compete for at least 18 of the 73 seats in the PRN will come.
00:49Another analyst, Rom Zia Atyung from the University of Malaysia Sabah, said that the PRN needs to work with local parties in Sabah and focus on local issues rather than national issues to attract the support of the people of the country.
