Matki ( mod ale li) chi Bhaji / sprouted moath receipe
Ingredients
250 GMs – sprouted moath / mod ale li matki
2 – small size onion
1 – tomato
4-5 – curry leaves / kadipatta
7-8 garlic cloves
2 spoon – red chilly powder
1 spoon – coriander powder
1 spoon – garam masala
1 bunch of fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure
Rinse sprouted moath in water 4-5 times. Keep it in clean water for 1/2 hour.
Heat oil in kadai for temper/tadka, put garlic cloves, curry leaves, onion, tomato, red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala, sprouted moath, one by one & mix it well. Cover the lid for 10 minutes, by pouring water, let it cook on steam first. Then pour this water in lid & cover the lid for 5 minutes again on low flame, & let it cook.
Now its ready to eat. Finally garnish it with chopped fresh coriander leaves & serve hot with chappatis.
