Ingredients for masala:-
1 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Fennel seeds
8-10 black pepper
9-10 fenugreek seeds
Ingredients for Sabzi:
4 tbsp Oil
1 Green Chili, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 Dry Red Chiles
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
4 Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 tsp Salt
4 Potatoes, boiled & crushed
2 Cups Water
1 tsp Kasoori Methi
Method for Aloo sabzi:-
Grind all the dry ingredients first.
Heat a pan, add oil, green chilies, ginger, dry red chilies.
Keep the gas on low flame, add the grounded masalas and mix them well.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, mix them well.
Add tomatoes, and mix well.
Add salt and mix well.
Close the lid and let the tomatoes cook.
Add potatoes, and mix it well.
Add some more salt to balance the taste and add water. Mix them well.
Sprinkle kasoori methi, mix well and close the lid.
Let it cook for 10 minutes.
