00:00Hello, well the good news is it's almost the weekend. The bad news is though, is that it's
00:05not going to be completely dry. It is turning milder though, even though we are actually
00:10heading into meteorological winter by the time we get to Sunday. Starting off then with
00:14the bigger picture, we can see quite a few isobars on the chart and that indicates it's
00:18going to be quite a blustery weekend. This frontal system moving in from the west on
00:22Saturday, moving its way eastwards later Sunday, that means we are going to see some rain.
00:27It may even linger for a time across the far south-east of the country and notice a good
00:31squeeze in the isobars to the north-west of Scotland, turning quite blustery here on Sunday.
00:36Even a chance that we may even see some gales. Before we talk about Sunday though, let's
00:40head over to Saturday. So we can see already to start off with, there's a lot of cloud
00:45around to start. Now the good news here is, is that means it's not going to be turning
00:49quite as chilly as we see lots of cloud overnight and see winds start to pick up through the
00:53day as well. So we're not going to see any frost or fog like we've seen during the week.
00:58There is going to be some outbreaks of rain and drizzle though, this mainly in the west
01:01heading into Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland and then later on we'll start to see it in
01:06western parts of England and Wales too. The driest and potentially the brightest of the
01:10weather is going to be across central and eastern areas. The best of any brighter weather
01:15likely to be to the lee of high ground, perhaps north-east Scotland, north-eastern parts of
01:19England starting to see some brighter spells. But for many of us, it is going to be a much
01:24cloudier day. It is going to be rather mild though, particularly after the cold week that
01:29we've had this week. Temperatures around 13-14 degrees by the time we reach the afternoon.
01:36And we'll see that cloud stick around for Saturday night as well. We'll see more and
01:40more clouds spill in from the west with some outbreaks of more persistent rain starting
01:44to push in from the west too. Still fairly blustery under that cloud and rain in the
01:48west as well. And once again, all that cloud and rain does mean that things are going to
01:53remain mild overnight, still with some blustery conditions particularly to the north-west
01:57of Scotland. But we can see temperatures aren't really dropping too much compared to what
02:01they are during the day on Saturday. So another mild night on offer and quite blustery by
02:06the time we reach Sunday morning as well. This rain will slowly sink its way eastwards
02:11as we head into Saturday. It's likely that most of us are going to see some rain at some
02:15point on Saturday and still fairly blustery behind this cloud and rain too. Perhaps a
02:20few more brighter spells across Northern Ireland, parts of Scotland but we can see there's still
02:24plenty of blustery showers feeding in here too. But likely we may even see some sunny
02:29spells here where the cloud moves over any hilly areas. And once again temperatures remaining
02:35fairly similar to what they are on Saturday. Quite mild for the time of year and obviously
02:39heading into a meteorological winter too by the time we reach Sunday. That's it from me
02:44for now. For any further updates don't forget you can always subscribe to our YouTube channel
