Burton 2 Shrewsbury 0 - Ollie Westbury analysis
Transcript
00:00Another day, another disappointing Shrewsbury scoreline as they go down 2-0 at the Pirelli Stadium to Burton Albion, a game that the home side deserved to win.
00:12It was their first win since April, their first win of the season, and it sees them leapfrog Shrewsbury in the Ligue 1 table and Town now sit rock bottom of the table, having played 15 games, which I believe is more than everybody else around them.
00:25It's the lowest ebb of a low, low ebb of a season, if that's even the correct English.
00:31As a journalist, you have to find the words to describe the way that events unfold and I'm running out of words to describe Shrewsbury at the moment.
00:41They went behind early in the game in the 10th minute, another poor goal to concede and an avoidable goal to concede and they never really looked like getting back into it.
00:53They conceded another goal after half-time, really poor, poor time to concede and that was that pretty much from then onwards.
01:05There's nothing really positive to say about any aspect of the football club at the moment.
01:11It was a dreadful afternoon, a terrible afternoon and the misery continues and you can only feel sorry for the travelling supporters that made their way from Shropshire to watch their team and they kind of sung their hearts out in the away end to my right.
01:30It was an incredibly disappointing day. I think everybody is feeling very, very despondent with Shrewsbury.
01:36They now have eight points from 15 Ligue 1 games and it has just been a terrible, terrible start to the season.
