00:00Hi, there. Not everyone has the cloud today. Some places are favoured with sunny skies,
00:07most notably northern parts of Devon and Cornwall, north and west Wales, northern Scotland and
00:13a few cloud breaks elsewhere into northern England and southeast Scotland. But once again,
00:18for the vast majority, it is a gloomy afternoon, the low cloud covering the hills in the west
00:24and giving some drizzle here and there, particularly in the west but not exclusively. Where we've
00:28got the cloud cover, 13, 14, 15 Celsius, where we do have some breaks, 16 to 18 Celsius once
00:34again possible, given some warming and drying of the wind as it comes over the mountains
00:39of Scotland. Overnight, we keep the clear skies in northern Scotland, parts of north
00:45Wales, for example, and where those clear skies remain, always a possibility of a touch
00:49of frost. But for the vast majority, with the sheet of cloud remaining, it's going to
00:54be mid to high single figures. And we'll continue to see spots of drizzle as we start
00:59the day on Friday, particularly north-west Scotland, northern Ireland, parts of Wales
01:03and the south-west. The drizzle coming and going, but mostly favouring western hills
01:08and coasts. Elsewhere, while generally dry but cloudy once again, it's northern Scotland,
01:15parts of northern England, southern Scotland, north Wales, where we'll again see the brightest
01:19skies emerging and temperatures into the mid-teens where that happens. But where we've got the
01:24cloud, 9 to 11 Celsius, a slightly colder feel compared with Thursday afternoon. We've
01:31got this south-easterly breeze, but in the west, well, outbreaks of rain are increasingly
01:37approaching from the Atlantic and it's going to turn increasingly damp into the weekend,
01:43at least the start of the weekend, with weather fronts moving in. However, this area of low
01:48pressure, which mostly avoids the UK, does swing a weather front south-eastwards. A weaker
01:53fair, but the main role it plays is in clearing the skies for Monday, so a better chance of
01:59sunny skies for most. Bye bye.
