00:00Good morning, well I'd like to promise some sunshine but for most of us it's
00:04going to be another dull and dreary day with a lot of cloud around. So there's cloud
00:09across much of the country with some hill fog perhaps not quite as widespread
00:13as what we've seen in recent days but the cloud will still be thick enough for
00:17some patchy rain and drizzle at times with the best of the sunshine really
00:20confined to northern Scotland through the afternoon. There's a bit of a breeze
00:25as well coming up from the south affecting much of Northern Ireland and
00:28western areas as well but otherwise temperatures holding up 13, 14 degrees
00:34so perhaps just a touchdown on what we saw on Wednesday but hopefully feeling
00:38pleasant enough in any sunny breaks further towards the north. And then as we
00:43go through Thursday evening and overnight well not much change as we
00:47hold on to this blanket of cloud across much of the country again thick enough
00:51for some patchy drizzle at times with the clearest skies really confined to
00:56northern Scotland once again but with a lot of cloud around that will help keep
01:01the temperatures up tonight so around 11 or 12 degrees but underneath the
01:05clearest skies may just turn a little bit chilly to start Friday morning. So
01:11once again a very similar story out there with a lot of cloud around best of
01:16the sunny breaks will be across parts of Scotland maybe even into western
01:19Scotland later and coming into northern parts of England and perhaps even into
01:24parts of northern Wales but they'll still be murky conditions around with
01:29some patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle here and there but most of us it
01:33is going to be largely dry but just often cloudy. Temperatures we may see
01:38highs of up to 13 possibly 14 or 15 degrees in the far southwest but
01:43otherwise for most places it will be around average for the time of year. And
01:48as we look ahead to the weekend well a lot of clouds still on the cards with
01:53some rain for some of us perhaps turning a little bit brighter across
01:57western areas on Sunday. I'll catch you soon, bye bye.
