00:00In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:05In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:07We begin with the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
00:11The series of Dars-e-Bukhara continues.
00:14We had reached Kitab-ul-Itiq, i.e. the chapter of liberating the slaves.
00:19The Hadith that will be narrated today is Hadith number 2528.
00:26It is narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira.
00:31He narrates that the Prophet said,
00:35Allah has forgiven the whispers that come to the hearts of my Ummah,
00:43until they do not act on them or speak on them.
00:48It means that the thoughts of Satan in the heart,
00:52whether it is of a sin, disbelief or anything else,
00:57the Prophet says that Allah has forgiven them,
01:00i.e. there is no hold on their coming.
01:03Because they are not in power and authority.
01:06Yes, if they speak according to that,
01:09for example, Satan whispered in the mind or heart that
01:14perhaps God does not exist, God forbid.
01:17And he said that God does not exist.
01:21It means that he accepted that whisper,
01:24and believed in it, that is why he spoke.
01:27Then according to that whisper,
01:30the judgment that will be given will be based on that word.
01:33If it was disbelief or whispers,
01:35and he said disbelief or words, then he will be out of the circle of Islam.
01:39Or for example, if someone had a mobile phone,
01:42then Satan thought in his heart that he should pick it up and keep it in his pocket,
01:46and steal it.
01:47So just by thinking nothing will happen.
01:49Yes, if he picked it up and kept it in his pocket,
01:52this he did according to the whisper.
01:54He is poor on this action.
01:56The Prophet says in another Hadith that
01:59when a person intends to commit a sin,
02:02then Allah says to the angels,
02:04Stop, do not write this in his name.
02:07Yes, when he commits a sin,
02:09then one sin is written in his name.
02:12But when a person intends to do a good deed,
02:15then Allah has blessed our Prophet's Sadaqah,
02:19that as soon as we intend to do a good deed,
02:22Allah makes us write one good deed in the name of deeds.
02:26And if we do good deeds,
02:28then ten good deeds are written in our name.
02:31That is, one good deed is equal to ten good deeds.
02:34So this is Allah's great blessing on this Ummah.
02:38Now just understand one thing,
02:40that the whispers that come to the mind,
02:43they have many levels.
02:45There is a degree of poverty,
02:47there is no poverty in the rest.
02:49Why is it poor?
02:50Allah said that
02:51Innas sama'a wal basara wal fu'ada kullu ula'ika kaana anhu mas'oola
02:57The Day of Resurrection will be questioned
03:01by hearing, sight, and the heart.
03:05The question will be asked,
03:07that is, accountability will be done.
03:09This has been proven by this verse
03:11that the whispers that come to the heart are poor.
03:14There will be a question about it.
03:16Whereas this hadith says that it will not happen.
03:19And in the same way Allah said
03:21la yuqallifu Allahu nafsan illa wus'aha
03:24Allah does not put any life in a test more than its strength.
03:28So now this whispering is not in our power and authority.
03:32Now apparently,
03:34there is a clash in the arguments.
03:38Some arguments say that
03:40the whispers that come to the heart are absolutely equal.
03:43Whereas the verse of Innas sama'a wal basara is saying
03:46that there will be a question, there will be poverty.
03:48So the scholars then created in both of them
03:50harmony and application in such a way
03:52that as long as the thought or whispers that come to our heart
03:57we do not convey it to the degree of certainty,
04:00there is no poverty on it.
04:02When it reaches the degree of certainty, then there is poverty.
04:05Now what is the degree of certainty?
04:07For example, a mobile phone was kept
04:09and Satan put it in the heart to steal it.
04:11This thought came.
04:13That man shook it.
04:14There is no poverty on it.
04:16Then the thought came again and again and there is no one.
04:18Try it.
04:19So first a thought came and went.
04:21One is that he kept putting it again and again.
04:23But he kept shaking it every time.
04:25There is no poverty on it either.
04:27Then the third is that he said,
04:29if there is no one, then we will think.
04:31Now he brought it to more certainty
04:34that I have always seen that there is no one.
04:37So this is the third degree.
04:39There is no poverty on it either.
04:41The fourth is that he decided that
04:43now I pick it up, but there is a little resistance from within.
04:48I am not seeing anything, I will be more careful.
04:50There is no poverty on it either.
04:52And the last degree is that
04:54he said that I will pick it up.
04:56I have always seen that there is no one.
04:58There is no camera on it either.
05:00And he made a firm decision that
05:02now I will raise my hand.
05:04I have not done it yet, but in the name of action, a sin will be written.
05:07This is the last stage of accepting obscenity.
05:10This is called a firm determination.
05:13A firm determination.
05:15And about this Allah said in the Quran
05:17that the question will arise from the hearts.
05:19The firm intentions that are born in the hearts.
05:21I will explain this with a few more examples.
05:24A young man is sitting in his room
05:26and he wants to see something on the internet.
05:30So just thinking about it will not do anything.
05:32Then he thought again and again, but still it will not happen.
05:35Then he said that no one is looking,
05:37then I look, but still it will not happen.
05:39Then he decided that I will open it now, but still it will not happen.
05:43And then when he made a firm decision
05:45that now I go to a website, this is a firm determination.
05:48He will have a grip on it.
05:50In the same way, the problem of seeing a woman,
05:52other things about which thoughts come,
05:55and then finally it becomes a firm determination.
05:57So before a firm determination,
05:59if we finish our intentions,
06:01that is, if we do not accept obscenity,
06:03then there is no sin.
06:05There will be a sin on a firm determination.
06:08So keep this little detail in mind.
06:10Because it often happens that we say
06:12that it is of this kind, like the hadith is pure,
06:15that Allah has forgiven the obscenities
06:17that are born in the hearts of my Ummah.
06:20So this means that we sit down and decide
06:23that I will kill it, I will blackmail it.
06:26There are firm intentions, there is no obstacle in the way.
06:29So there should not be a grip on it.
06:31Although it is on it, because it is present in the verse.
06:34So always remember this.
06:36I repeat it again and again
06:38that from any one hadith, from any one verse,
06:41the result is not immediately taken out.
06:44Rather, the method of the scholars,
06:47the method of the Mujtahideen,
06:49the method of the jurists
06:51is that they search for hadiths related to a topic.
06:56Then they take out the verses of the Quran.
06:59They take the style of the Sahaba.
07:01After this, a problem is found by pondering over all of them.
07:06So if you only look at the hadith,
07:08then there should be no restriction on obscenities.
07:11But when we combine the Quran with it,
07:13then the Quran says that the hearts will be questioned.
07:16That is, Allah will take account of the heart's obscenities.
07:20The hadith says that this will not happen.
07:22Now it has happened.
07:24So now it does not happen that you accept one and leave the other.
07:28The very first situation is that you derive a meaning
07:33so that it applies to the Quran as well as the hadith.
07:37And that is this.
07:38They said that all the levels of obscenities before
07:41are all consistent because the hadith says so.
07:44And when the determination is determined,
07:46then even if people do not act,
07:48What does determination mean?
07:50The firm intention of sin, that the resistance inside is over.
07:53Now the next step is to do it.
07:55When the situation reaches here,
07:57then according to the subject of the verse,
07:59that person is worthy of being poor.
08:01And in his name and deeds, sin will also be written.
08:04Keep this in mind a little.
08:06And explain to your children.
08:08Tell your children.
08:10And calculate yourself.
08:12This is also a form of sin.
08:14It is not that we have made a lot of intentions in the previous life.
08:19And have reached the determination.
08:21Then even if we stopped from action.
08:23But in the name and deeds, sin has been written.
08:26Like sometimes women sit.
08:28So one thinks that I will reveal her secret.
08:31And I will do her such and such, so that she is killed.
08:34Now she said, listen to me.
08:36That is, the intention is still there.
08:38Aunt, listen to me.
08:39Suddenly there was such a situation that she could not state.
08:42But she had made up her mind.
08:44She had come very close to action.
08:46In the name and deeds, a sin will be written.
08:48You have to repent for these sins too.
08:50So that's why a calculation should also be done in your previous life.
08:54Look at it objectively.
08:56Did we have a determined determination in life about sins?
09:00If so, then repent.
09:02If you do not remember, then repent completely.
09:05That Allah Almighty, all the such strong intentions I have made.
09:08Even if I could not do it, forgive me.
09:10Erase it from my name and deeds.
09:12Forgive their sins.
09:14And give me the ability to maintain my accountability in the future.
09:18Inshallah, a lot of blessings will be achieved.
09:21The next hadith is 2529.
09:23And it came in the beginning.
09:26In the book of faith.
09:29Here it is mentioned again.
09:31Hazrat Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, says
09:35That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said
09:38That the foundation of deeds is on intention.
09:42And for every person, it is the same deed for which he has intended.
09:47Therefore, the person whose migration is towards Allah and His Messenger.
09:51According to Allah, his migration will be towards Allah and His Messenger.
09:57And the one whose migration is towards the world.
09:59So that he gets it.
10:01Or towards a woman.
10:03So that he gets married to her.
10:05So that his migration will be towards the same thing according to Allah.
10:09For which he had migrated.
10:12So the explanation had been done earlier.
10:14But since we have come after a long time.
10:16I will briefly tell you about it.
10:18The first thing that the government has said.
10:20That the foundation of deeds is on intention.
10:23So there can be two meanings of this hadith.
10:27One is that some deeds are such.
10:29That if you do not intend.
10:31Then that deed will not come into existence.
10:33Like worship and prayer.
10:35If you do not intend.
10:37And just stand, bow and prostrate.
10:39Will the prayer be done? No.
10:41Intention is necessary in it.
10:43For the existence of worship.
10:45Intention is necessary for such fasting.
10:47Intention is for Hajj.
10:49Intention is for Tawaf.
10:51Intention is for Umrah.
10:53So this intention is such.
10:57This intention is such that the existence of worship is based on it.
11:01Then the hadith is on its own.
11:03And if this is the meaning.
11:05There are some deeds.
11:07In which intention is not necessary.
11:09The deed comes into existence.
11:11For example, like ablution.
11:13If you do ablution with intention.
11:15You will get reward.
11:17But if someone went to bathe in the sea.
11:19And his intention was not there.
11:21That I do ablution or take a bath.
11:23And he closed his nose in the sea.
11:25Will he come out?
11:27Because Allah said.
11:29Allah said,
11:31We have sent down pure water from the sky.
11:35So Allah has given the description of purification in water.
11:39Whether we intend or not.
11:41The water will do its work.
11:43Which has the description of burning in fire.
11:45So whether you intend or not.
11:47You will burn.
11:49In fact, if you say that I am not intending to burn.
11:51And put your hand. You will burn.
11:53Similarly, it is here.
11:55Whether you intend to obtain purity from water.
11:57Whether you intend to obtain purity or not.
11:59Or rather you intend that I am using water.
12:01I don't want purity.
12:03Still the water will do its work.
12:05So here intention is not necessary.
12:07One is to intend to accumulate other rewards.
12:13Like if you have used water.
12:15And you have no intention.
12:17You will do ablution.
12:19But when will you get other rewards?
12:21When you will do it with intention.
12:23That is why Ahnaf has given the meaning of this Hadith in such matters.
12:28That the government is saying that
12:30the basis of other rewards on deeds is on intention.
12:36This will be the meaning of it.
12:38When will you get other rewards on deeds?
12:42When you have done it with intention.
12:44With intention that deed will be a good deed for you.
12:47Otherwise it will be an ordinary deed.
12:49Like you took a bath and went into the sea and came out.
12:51What kind of worship did you do?
12:53You took a bath in the sea.
12:55When will it become a worship?
12:57When you do ablution with intention.
12:59Or when you pour water on the body of ablution.
13:01That I am doing ablution.
13:03Now you will get rewards.
13:05And this is why there are so many interpretations.
13:07If we take the explicit Hadith of this Hadith.
13:09Then it becomes like this.
13:11That the basis of deeds is on intention.
13:15That is until there is no intention.
13:17There will be no deed.
13:19There are thousands of deeds that we do.
13:21And we don't have any intention.
13:23And that deed comes into existence.
13:25Isn't it?
13:27Like some people ask, what are you doing here?
13:29It just came like this.
13:31There is no intention.
13:33It just came like this.
13:35I saw it and I met you.
13:37Then this Hadith will be against the reality.
13:41And it is far from the Prophet.
13:43That you are the Messenger of Allah.
13:45You are a Prophet.
13:47It is against the reality.
13:49Because the Hadith says that until there is no intention.
13:51There will be no deed.
13:53Whereas there are thousands of deeds that come into existence without intention.
13:57That is why we ponder over that Hadith.
13:59And we contemplate and derive such a meaning.
14:03That the words of the Prophet are perfect in their place.
14:05And Allah or His Messenger should not have any objection.
14:11So what is the summary of the words?
14:13That the Prophet is saying that
14:15The summary of the words is on intention.
14:19And if we keep it on the surface,
14:21then it will mean those acts that do not come into existence without intention.
14:25Like Salah, Fasting, Hajj etc.
14:27Or the intention is a condition for Zakat.
14:29The intention is to give Zakat.
14:31Or you have made a Z-account.
14:33You have put money in it with the intention of Zakat.
14:37Or you have given someone a lawyer.
14:39Give Zakat from me.
14:41So you have made an intention while giving.
14:43Or you have made an intention while giving to a Fakir.
14:45Or the Fakir took it.
14:47At that time it was not your intention.
14:49But you are sure that the money will be with the Fakir.
14:51Make an intention that this is Zakat.
14:53Zakat will be done.
14:55But if any of these do not exist.
14:57For example, you gave Nafl-e-Sadaqah.
14:59A week later you think,
15:01I gave five thousand rupees.
15:03It would have been better if I had made the intention of Zakat.
15:05And it is likely that in that time he would have spent five thousand.
15:07Now you cannot make the intention of Zakat.
15:09Similarly, you must have given a lot of Nafl-e-Sadaqah.
15:11You must have given someone a tip.
15:13You must have given someone a gift.
15:15You must have given someone Eidi.
15:17Similarly, we do Nafl-e-Sadaqah.
15:19Now if someone wants to make it all Zakat.
15:21It is not possible.
15:23Because the intention of Zakat was not there while giving.
15:25I hope you have understood this.
15:27The second point is that
15:29for every person, the action is the same as the intention.
15:31So
15:33this is a sign of sincerity.
15:35The intention with which you act.
15:37On that
15:39this is a sign of
15:41reward or punishment.
15:43For example,
15:45a person prays but not for Allah.
15:47To show to the public.
15:49He gives a lot of charity.
15:51That is why the photo is printed.
15:53People praise him.
15:55A person gives a statement.
15:57But only to impress the public.
15:59Allah's pleasure is not intended at all.
16:01A person is reciting the Holy Qur'an.
16:03Like the reciters are on the stage.
16:05We should not misunderstand anyone.
16:07Let's say a reciter
16:09is reciting the Holy Qur'an.
16:11I am only raising my voice.
16:13And I am reciting well.
16:15So that people praise me.
16:17Or I get money.
16:19Or there is a reciter who does it with such an intention.
16:21Or even
16:23someone went for Jihad
16:25and was martyred.
16:27Apparently he sacrificed his life.
16:29But the intention was that when I die,
16:31people should tell the story of my bravery.
16:33He was a very brave man.
16:35So remember all this.
16:37Because of the corruption of intention,
16:39a person spent money.
16:41He got into physical trouble.
16:43He even sacrificed his life.
16:45But zero reward.
16:47If the intention was only to please the creation.
16:49If the intention was to please the creation
16:51and the Creator as well.
16:53The more Allah's intention was to please,
16:55the more reward.
16:57The more the intention was to please the creation,
16:59the more reward will be wasted.
17:01And remember this is called Ria.
17:03One is to do good deeds.
17:05And the other is to recite after doing good deeds.
17:07I did this, I did that, I did that.
17:09It is also like we took revenge
17:11from our good deeds in this world.
17:13This recitation in Shariah is called Suma'ah.
17:15Ria and Suma'ah.
17:17Remember these two words.
17:19One is to do good deeds only for Allah.
17:21Not to show to the public.
17:23Not for praise.
17:25Not to gain benefits.
17:27Not to avoid any loss.
17:29Not to get a central position in gatherings.
17:31Not to get a note short.
17:33Only for Allah.
17:35Then you will get reward.
17:37And if the intention was only to please the creation,
17:39the more reward will be wasted.
17:41The more the intention was to please the creation,
17:43the more reward will be wasted.
17:45And when you have done good deeds.
17:47For example, you did good deeds for Allah's sake.
17:49Now when you recite it,
17:51the devil incites you to say
17:53that we got so many girls married.
17:55We did Hajj so many times.
17:57I have been reciting Tahajjud for 40 years.
17:59I have been doing ablution for 20 years.
18:01The devil incites you
18:03to do good deeds.
18:05To make money.
18:07And you do it in gatherings.
18:09So this Suma'ah is also Haram.
18:11I will talk more on this topic.
18:13It is a very important topic.
18:15In the next program.
18:17Alhamdulillah.
