00:00Good morning you beautiful people. Today we're going to do a battery drain test
00:04on the Vivo Y12s. Join me as I go through my day and also test out not just the
00:11battery of this phone but also features I use in my everyday real-life scenarios.
00:30It's 9 a.m. and we're at a hundred percent and I wake up or at least I
00:37tried to wake up. Here are some scenes from my morning shot on the Y12s.

00:52Isa, today there are two events remaining. But first, coffee. So while I try to wake
00:59up, here are some things about the Y12s and why we're actually doing this test.
01:02Basically this bang for buck device has 5,000 milliamp hours battery so I'm
01:07testing to see just how long it can last you in a day. I'm also shooting with two
01:12rear cameras, a 13 megapixel and a 2 megapixel depth camera and we're trying
01:17out the 8 megapixel selfie camera because you guys know I can't not do
01:21selfies. Of course I'll also be doing some quick social media tests in this
01:25vid so you can see just how these cameras fare for postings. Anyway, like
01:30all days, this one starts with coffee and checking out what's going on in the
01:34world today on my phone. Apparently a lot of work so I get to some of it while I
01:40wake myself up.
01:45So it's 11.16. I'm at 96%. I'm actually editing so I'm not on my phone as much
01:55It is 12.22. No, today is Tuesday, May 4th, 2021. Right, okay. It is 12.22 right now and I
02:05am at 94%. Finally finished my video so I'll have more time for you guys now. But
02:12first, lunch because I'm hungry and I'm tired and it's just lunch time.
02:18Hi chummy. So around this time I tend to my aquarium which has grown to four
02:34since the pandemic. This is aquarium one. This is aquarium two which is fairly new
02:38so it's not much to look at. Aquarium three and this is what I'm happy about.
02:43This is where all the little babies are. Look.
03:03And finally aquarium four which is where my betta is. Now what you're listening to
03:09right now is a voiceover but the next clip with the mushrooms, yes I said
03:12mushrooms, is audio from the Y12S. I am growing mushrooms and finally my first
03:19mushroom bloom. I'm so happy. Look at that. So I need to spray this every day to make
03:28sure they don't dry out and die.
03:32So it's 2.15 and I'm at 86%. Let me show you my battery. Screen usage since full
03:45charge is an hour and 49 minutes. And these are the things I look at. So I've
03:51mostly looked at, used my camera, telegram and TikTok. Since I've edited a video I'm
03:58finally just about to like put makeup on because I'm gonna shoot a thumbnail
04:02and some other things. So time to use the front-facing camera. It's selfie time.
04:08Right this is the front-facing camera now. 1080p. This is my face before makeup and
04:15now we're all made up. Like just a little makeup to make me seem a little fresher.
04:283 o'clock p.m. I was shooting thumbnails and photos and well my battery is at 82%.
04:42Anyway it's time to test out social media. So I'm gonna be shooting with a
04:47Vivo Y12S. I'm gonna be posting it on Instagram, TikTok and even on Instagram
04:54stories to see how they look when you shoot using this phone. So let's post an
04:59Instagram story. Okay don't mind the humming that's just like the AC. I think

05:24Right so now that I've posted the stories let's check what they look like on other
05:28phones. I have here an Android device and an Apple device. Let's go.

06:41It's 4.03pm and I'm at 75%. Let's check out the details of that.
06:46So last full charge was 7 hours ago. Screen usage is like 3 hours 6 minutes.
06:54This is the graph. We have 21 hours left according to this. I knew it. It's gonna be like 2 days. This thing is gonna run for 2 days.
07:04There's also we've been using the camera the most in TikTok. Oh my god. Guilty.
07:11Anyway let me bring you to the lanai. I'm gonna check out the pond and the fish that we have here.
07:16And also test out rear cameras.

07:50Again for a budget device this is looking and feeling very premium right now especially this pack.
07:57Oh my gosh look at that rainbow. That's definitely a rainbow I've never seen before on this phone.
08:05So this is the pond and this is actually Kangkong. What? Hi Marnie.
08:13Okay so this is actually Kangkong that I've been trying to grow and a very KSP dog.
08:22She just wants all the attention. Let me show you.

08:35So let me show you how hard it is to take photos of dogs actually.

09:05Since the dogs wouldn't stay still I decided that the best course of action would be to hold them still with some selfie shots.
09:12So here we are doing gesture selfies. My photo hack when it comes to Android.
09:18And here are the end results.
09:20I just I can't believe it's like 418 and we're at 72%. I mean we're at the line of seven and the workday is almost done. It's crazy.
09:50We're gonna have a doggy photo shoot.
10:13Oh my god.

10:26It is 8.49. 52%. And this is where I'm at 52%. It says here that it should run up until tomorrow morning. What?
10:38It's not. Wait. So 12 hours. It's been 12 hours since my last full charge. Screen on time is at 5 hours and 27 minutes.
10:49And yes folks. Top one of my usage is TikTok. 1 hour 36 minutes of TikTok even more than the time I use the camera. That's crazy.
11:00Honestly amazing because I guess this charge test is lasting us till tomorrow.
11:07Time check. It is midnight 12.02 and we are at 37%. So I'm looking tired but this phone isn't.
11:15It's been 15 hours and also oh my god 7 hour screen usage.
11:35Guys this is unreal. It's 10.30 the next day and my battery is at 31%.
11:43Yesterday it said that the battery should last up until 9.30am and it's like an hour later than that but I guess that's under assumption that I'd be using it.
11:54But since last night it had not been used. Now it says it should last until 10.15pm.
12:02What even is this phone you guys? It's never gonna die.
12:06Okay I'm gonna get coffee.
12:13You guys it's 12.48pm and surprise I'm at 25%.
12:26I think I'm gonna end the test here because it's been a day and a half.
12:30Technically it's been 28 hours since my last charge and I have a total of 8 hours and 32 minutes for screen usage.
12:41According to this the phone should last up until 9.45pm.
12:45Of course that varies according to use. So at the amount I was using it yesterday it said that it would have battery up until 9am.
12:55But since I didn't use it throughout the night when I was sleeping it switched to this.
13:02This is very enlightening. It's amazing how much 5000mAh can do.
13:07So like I said at the start this is the phone that I used mainly throughout yesterday and this morning.
13:13And even though it's a budget phone I did emails on this, Instagram, TikTok.
13:20A lot of TikTok as my stats will show you.
13:22Yeah it's a phone that can basically handle all that.
13:25Of course it's not the snap yes device.
13:27Again this is an entry level device but it's more than capable of getting those tasks done.
13:32My god this is like 28 hours. It's been a day and a half technically.
13:38I'm just mind blown. I honestly didn't think it would take 2 days to drain this battery.
13:44On to editing for me and also my camera is low bat.
13:49My camera has gotten the low battery warning like 4-5 times since I started this video.
13:56But this phone is still going strong.
14:02Color me amazed you guys.

14:22This is so funny. I'm almost done editing the video and at 3.43pm I get my very first battery warning.
14:31I'm now at 7%.
14:34That is a 10 hour screen usage time.
14:38Almost 25% of which is on TikTok.
14:43Last full charge was 31 hours ago.
