00:20What else do you get with this new phone and what type of users might want to look at the Poco M3 Pro 5G as their phone?
00:28We're unboxing this and answering that question in this video.
00:31Poco M3 Pro, let's unbox!
00:33We have the typical yellow box.
00:35Poco M3 Pro 5G with easy access to the Google Apps you need most.
00:41Up here it tells us that I have the black version, although there is a very cute yellow one.
00:46And we have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
00:50We have SIM tool, Poco stickers, these are becoming standard for Poco phones now.
01:04Quick start guide and safety info.
01:06Warranty card, of course a jelly case.
01:10We have the phone but you know how we do, we're gonna check out what else is in the box.
01:15There is a USB-C cord, also a power brick.
01:19And now on to the phone.
01:21So this thing has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 with dual 5G, a 90Hz 6.5 full HD plus dot display,
01:305000mAh battery, and a 48MP triple AI camera.
01:39Ooh, that is one premium looking phone.
01:44I mean this is part of their M3 line which are the more affordable phones,
01:48but wow look at how fancy looking.
01:51This makes me want to see the yellow version in person now.
01:58So there is a delineation between that black bar and the rest of the back of this phone
02:04and the mirror-like finish.
02:05That is however a smooth back except for the camera bump.
02:08Poco designed by Poco it says there.
02:11And then we have 3 cameras plus the flash.
02:14I'm pretty sure this will now become a Poco signature look.
02:17Up top we have the headphone jack, some speakers, on the side a volume rocker,
02:22and a fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button.
02:25At the bottom, speakers, USB-C port, and on the other side you have the SIM tray.
02:33Now let's power this up and you know what's coming next, a montage.

03:00right now that we've freed this thing from its box,
03:03buy this phone if you're looking for a bang for buck device.
03:07Poco M3 Pro 5G pricing starts at 179 euros or around 219 US dollars.
03:16That's for the 4GB 64GB version.
03:18And for the 6GB 128GB version, it's priced at 199 euros or around 250 dollars.
03:28That is an amazingly good price for a 5G enabled device.
03:31That is a big thing.
03:32And now all following things I'll say will be premised by the fact that
03:36this is a sub 200 euro or sub 250 dollar phone.
03:42Yeah.
03:43Next up, buy this phone if you want a cheap device that doesn't feel like a cheap device.
03:51That's a Gorilla Glass 3 back and it doesn't feel like a plastic device,
03:54which can be the default for a lot of cheaper phones.
03:57I've said this in my unboxing and I'll say it again,
03:59it's really nice how the light bounces off of this phone.
04:02You guys know I'm a sucker for shiny phones despite them being smudgy.
04:07The Poco branding on the back might be a little too big for some people,
04:10but I'm a little okay with it,
04:12and I've actually seen way worse executions on other Chinese brands.
04:18Buy this phone if you game.
04:21Although wrapping an LCD screen,
04:22this thing does a 90Hz refresh rate and it has an audio port,
04:27plus a game turbo mode for optimizing gameplay.
04:30From water sort puzzle to PUBG, it did well.
04:41I was able to play Asphalt 9 from default settings,
04:58to high,
05:14and I even pushed it to performance mode.
05:24Genshin Impact did okay on lowest default settings and even low,
05:29but it did say that the phone was overclocked at medium settings,
05:33and this is what gameplay looks like at medium.
05:48So here's the deal-
05:49wait, it was much, yeah.
05:50So here's the deal, this obviously isn't a gaming phone,
05:53but we're looking at this through the lens of how it's priced,
05:55and based on how it's priced, it's looking like it did pretty well,
05:59and I'd say you can most definitely game on this.
06:02Now, if you're a serious gamer and gaming performance is what's most important to you,
06:06this might not be the phone for you,
06:08but if you're someone who sort of values the rest of the things I talked about in this video,
06:13and you like games,
06:15this phone.
06:17Buy this phone if you need a battery that lasts long.
06:20This thing has 5000mAh battery power and that should last you a day and even more.
06:26It has a USB-C port for charging, nice,
06:29and 18W fast charging.
06:32Buy this phone if you care about future-proofing.
06:35Gone are the days of finding 5G only in expensive devices.
06:40Yes folks, this is a 5G phone and it beats current pricing for a lot,
06:44if not all, of the 5G phones in the market right now.
