00:16Yes, finally we are unboxing the Vivo V21e, and in this video, we're not only gonna be
00:22doing a camera tour and sample shots, I'm also gonna be talking about the main differences
00:26between this phone and the V21 5G, which I previously did a video on, link up here and
00:33down below.
00:34But yeah, before we get into the nitty-gritty, let's unbox.
00:37V21e this time.
00:39We have the same sort of glittery box with that holo.
00:43I have here the 8GB, 128GB version in diamond flair.
00:50We have the phone, but as you know, we're gonna check out what else is in the box first.
00:55We have, of course, a sim tool, paperwork, that jelly case, power brick, USB-C charging
01:03cord, and even earphones.
01:06Right, phone time.
01:09Again it says here that there is a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor up top,
01:14an in-display fingerprint scanner.
01:17Vivo, you do not disappoint.
01:22Would you look at that?
01:24And there's honestly one beautiful phone.
01:27That back is actually smooth.
01:33I can't deal, it's so pretty.
01:37I mean just when you think Vivo has come up with the prettiest devices, they basically
01:43wow you with more.
01:45Obviously, I'm a fan of how extra this thing looks.
01:49It has the same sort of camera bump we saw on the V21 5G.
01:54Almost the same build and design, I think, except for this very unique design.
02:00On the right, you have volume rockers, you have the power button, bottom gives you speaker
02:05grills, USB-C port, audio jack.
02:07Now take note that the V21 5G did not have an audio jack.
02:12On the other side, we have the sim tool and this is repping two sim slots and a micro
02:17SD slot.
02:18And that's a pretty clean top except for this, I think that's the mic.
02:22Right, powering this thing up and in the meantime, a montage.
02:48Before we get to the camera tour of the Vivo V21e, let's talk a little bit about this phone
03:07as well.
03:08Two pretty phones in my hand.
03:10Here we have the Vivo V21 5G and here the phone we just unboxed, the Vivo V21e.
03:16Now the first main difference between the two is the thing that it runs on.
03:20The Vivo V21 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip and the Vivo V21e runs on a Snapdragon
03:28720G.
03:30And as the title connotes, the Vivo V21 5G is 5G capable while the Vivo V21e is not.
03:37Both very beautiful phones but you won't be mistaking one for the other.
03:41Only the Vivo V21 5G comes in the sunset dazzle color while only the Vivo V21e comes in this
03:48very cute diamond flare design.
03:51The Vivo V21 5G also comes in blue while the Vivo V21e also comes in black.
03:58Another difference would be the existence of the audio port on the Vivo V21e while the
04:04Vivo V21 5G on the other hand just comes with an audio dongle.
04:09Both have 6.44-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED screens though the Vivo V21 5G reps a 90Hz display
04:17while the Vivo V21e reps a 60Hz display.
04:21They both have the same battery capacity, flash charge capacity.
04:24They both have almost the same three cameras on the back except there's no optical image
04:29stabilization on the V21e.
04:33There is EIS though.
04:35The same goes for the front-facing cameras.
04:37In news for selfie lovers, both phones rep 44MP selfie cameras with 4K capabilities
04:43but again, only EIS is available on the V21e and there's no dual LED selfie fill light
04:51option on the V21e either.
04:54Right, on to the camera tour.
04:56Now since these two phones have very similar cameras, it's more or less the same except
05:01for a few things like for example, the V21e will give you an on-screen flash if you tap
05:06fill light under portrait mode while the V21 5G will give you the dual LED selfie when
05:13you tap fill light on portrait mode and then have the same on-screen flash when you tap
05:19aura under flash settings.
05:23Right, here we go.
05:25Camera tour time.
05:26So let's get on to the cameras.
05:29You have photo 1X, 2X up until 20X.
05:34And as you can see, it says enable portrait so that's AI recognizing that there's a person
05:38over there and it gives you the option to enable portrait and it switches to portrait
05:42mode.
05:43Bottom right, you can switch the different lenses so you have wide angle, you have your
05:48bokeh, you have your super macro mode which is great for looking at like really close
05:54up things.
05:55Up here, you have flash settings, HDR settings, you have your different filters, there are
06:02different portrait light effects as well and then you can switch size over here and
06:07finally settings.
06:09On the right, you have video.
06:11You have 1X, 2X up until 6X and then bottom right, you can switch to wide angle.
06:18Now up here, you have the beauty mode and that is a very detailed one.
06:23You have flash options for your rear cameras.
06:26You have picture in picture mode.
06:29You can actually switch that around as you can see and even use your zooms.
06:34You can do dual view mode like this and you have, what is this?
06:40Oh, different settings.
06:41So front and rear, front and rear and then dual rear.
06:46That's pretty cool.
06:47And then up here, you also have the different, what is this?
06:51Oh, art portrait and now I'm the only thing in color in this shot.
06:56You have bokeh on video as well and then all the different filters and you can change
07:02the intensity.
07:03There's also an ultra stable mode and smart zoom.
07:08With the smart zoom, ooh, look at that.
07:11So it basically picks out what it thinks is the most important crop and then when you
07:17video, it saves just that part of the screen.
07:24And then under settings, you have remove mole feature.
07:28Okay, I'm gonna turn that off.
07:29I like my moles.
07:30And then we can do video up until 4K.
07:34Under more, you have high resolution which is basically using the 64 megapixel main camera
07:38because as we all know, phones use their main cameras to pixel bin photos to make smaller
07:44but better photos.
07:46But when you tap this mode, this means it shoots 64 megapixel photos.
07:50You also have a pano mode, a live mode, a slow mo mode.
07:54Can you zoom in or out?
07:56Yes.
07:571x and 2x, there is a flash option and you can also do 120 or 240 FPS.
08:03It seems you can only do 120 with 1080 though.
08:07If you switch to 240, it switches to 720p.
08:11Then we have time lapse mode that also has a zoom, no wide.
08:18Wait, no.
08:19There is a wide.
08:20You can do this and then it uses the wide to do the time lapse.
08:23Plus, there are different auto settings up until 960x which is perfect for moving stars
08:29in the sky.
08:30So from traffic to moving stars in the sky, you have options for.
08:34You have a pro mode and it allows you to do 1x, 2x, up until 10x.
08:41Finally, there are AR stickers which are pretty cute and a dock mode which allows you to scan
08:46documents, pretty useful.
08:48And then we move on to the other side on portrait mode and can we zoom in or out here?
08:53No, we cannot.
08:55And here we have style which are sort of like filters and you can toggle intensity on there.
09:00Hey, I like this fashion.
09:02It's named fashion.
09:03You have beauty modes, you have that really cute pose mode on vivos and then you have
09:09the adjustable bokeh so that goes from 16 to 0.95.
09:15I usually do 2, that's my sweet spot.
09:18So this is really cute.
09:19When you're in the right background, it sort of makes little shapes in the background.
09:22It's nice.
09:23Then up here, HDR settings, backlight HDR, different portrait light effect, different
09:29filters, photo size.
09:32Oh, there's a movie mode.
09:35They just make everything look a little more cinematic.
09:38And then you have a night mode.
09:41Can you do zoom?
09:43No.
09:44But you can switch to your super wide angle.
09:47Oh, my feet look weird in that angle.
09:50Let's turn it off.
09:52You also have a tripod mode, different size settings, oh and different night mode styles.
10:00So I'm assuming that these filters are the ones that fit for night mode scenes better.
10:06On to the selfie stuff.
10:08So hey, so there is a night mode selfie.
10:10No zooming in or out.
10:11There is a beauty mode on here.
10:13You can do flash settings.
10:16Well, okay, there's no LED fill light on this phone, unlike on the V21 5G.
10:24But there is, like I mentioned earlier, that fill light option.
10:27You have different sizes up here.
10:29You have different settings here.
10:31And also, did I mention beauty mode?
10:33Yes, I think I did mention already.
10:36Portrait mode.
10:38No zoom.
10:39Oh, there is.
10:40You can do 2x.
10:41And then you can switch different styles.
10:45For each style, you can also toggle makeup intensity.
10:48You have again your beauty mode, different poses, and then bokeh from 16 to point, no
10:55to 1.
10:56Interestingly, I'm not finding the same makeup looks that I tried out on the Vivo V21 5G.
11:03Ones that only do the makeup without the filters.
11:06But yeah, you can add makeup through these filters, I guess.
11:10And then up here, flash settings, HDR settings.
11:13You have different filter still and different portrait light effects.
11:18You have different sizes.
11:21And you have photo.
11:22So on photo, you can zoom up until 2x, 1x.
11:26There are no beauty modes on here, only on the portrait mode.
11:29You have flash settings, HDR, filter, size.
11:32And finally, video.
11:34So you can do dual screen from here.
11:37There are different filters on here.
11:40And then there's what they call steady phase.
11:42So you don't blur out your face when you're walking and talking and shooting.
11:47There's also a live beauty mode on video on here.
11:51Plus, you can shoot in 4K.
11:53Finally, we are back onto more and we've already done this.
11:58So right now, it's time for some sample shots.
