00:05Vivo's just launched the Vivo X200 Pro.

00:20Really excited because I'm in China right now for the Vivo X200 Pro launch.
00:25And what do we have here?
00:28In this video, we're going to be taking our first look at Vivo's newest flagship.
00:32I'm going to tell you what's new and what to be excited about.
00:35We're, of course, going to check out its camera and do a quick camera tour
00:38and we'll do some sample shots.
00:39Let's go.
00:40But first, let's unbox.
01:27So, what's the highlight of this phone?
01:36First of all, this thing wraps a 200 megapixel telephoto camera
01:41and it does 100 times zoom on photo and 20 times zoom on video.
01:46At the event in Beijing, Vivo showed off how to use these telephoto cameras.
01:50And spoiler, they're more than just for those zoomed in moon shots,
01:53which admittedly, this phone does great at.
01:55These shooters do great telephoto portraits with motion capture
01:58and you can see the details of the falling leaves in these photos.
02:05And there's even a new 135 millimeter portrait mode.
02:08You can even do macro shots with these telephoto cameras
02:11and photos were coming out pretty good.
02:13And you can even do 4K HDR cinematic portrait video on this.
02:18Let's take a closer look at this phone.
02:22So, we have two colors right now.
02:24I have to say this one looks amazing but also slightly harder to shoot
02:29because it is a smooth back.
02:30What we unboxed was this color and this one is a nice matte back.
02:35Obviously, we can see those cameras there.
02:37This one being the periscope, that's still a sizable camera module
02:42and you still get nice details on those edges.
02:45But what I will point out though is how this phone now has flat sides
02:51as opposed to the curved edges of the Vivo X100.
02:55Now, on this side, you have a volume rocker, unlock button,
02:59SIM tray, USB-C port, speakers, clean other side and top.
03:04Now, despite having a flat sides though,
03:07you can see that that screen is still slightly curved
03:10and I like that little touch.
03:12You guys know I like curved screens so that
03:14that little touch makes it a little bit better for me.
03:17Now, this is a sizable phone
03:19but what's interesting is that alongside this in China,
03:23they did launch a Vivo X200 Pro mini and there's one in pink.
03:27And this is the size difference between those two phones
03:30and it's not just that it's pink.
03:32I just really prefer smaller phones.
03:34Unfortunately, this mini as of now will only be sold in China.
03:40Now, one cool mode on this phone is the street photographer mode
03:45and you double tap the volume down button
03:47and you get here for quick photos.
03:49This mode is going to be easy to pull up in a pinch
03:52when you want to take photos.
03:54And all the settings are here, really handy.
03:56Up top, you can even add presets, more settings,
04:00and then you also have different filters
04:04and access to the photos you just took.
04:06Right, let's do a quick camera tour.
04:09So you have video, of course, wide 1x, 2x, 3.7x or 85mm,
04:1610x up until 20x and then back to wide.
04:21Now you have your flash settings, you have a steady mode,
04:24you have Dolby Vision and you can shoot up until 8K 30fps
04:30or 4K 120, 60 or 30fps on this phone.
04:35On the other side, you have portrait video
04:37and this now can do 4K which is amazing.
04:41You have 1x, 2x, there you go.
04:453.7x and look at that blurred background
04:49and you can zoom well up until 3.7x.
04:52You can also adjust your bokeh,
04:54you have your different beauty mode settings,
04:56you also have your different filters as well.
05:00Under more, you have high resolution, slow-mo,
05:03a pro mode, time-lapse, pano mode.
05:06There's an interesting stage mode
05:08and this is supposedly for concerts and stuff like that.
05:11Now on the other side, on photo, you can do wide 1x,
05:152x, 3.7, 10x up until and this is crazy look.
05:22That's a hundred times zoom and back to wide.
05:26That's how far it zooms in
05:28and then you also of course have your flash,
05:30you have your live photo mode
05:32and then you have these different modes with Zeiss natural.
05:35You have your macro mode, super macro mode setting here
05:39which is pretty cool and then you have more settings here.
05:42On the other side, you have portrait of course
05:45and you have 23, 35, 50, 85, 135 millimeter.
05:50You can adjust your bokeh here
05:52and there are even like different shapes for the bokeh lights.
05:56This is a cute little feature.
05:58You have your beauty modes, you have your little filters
06:02but actually what's so interesting is the portrait lens kit settings
06:08that give you different options.
06:10This mode is highly recommended.
06:11It's pretty dramatic and really cool.
06:14On the other side, you have your landscape mode
06:16and it can do wide up until 200x as well.
06:20You have your pano mode here.
06:22You have planetarium and then you have a snapshot mode.
06:27Now on to the selfies.
06:31So you have your portrait mode and that is also available on selfie.
06:35You can change the amount of bokeh
06:37and these little Zeiss filters are available as well.
06:40You have your beauty mode here.
06:43You have your different filters and then you have your photo.
06:46Can you zoom in or out?
06:47Oh, you can!
06:49You also have your filters.
06:51On video, you can shoot 4k 60fps.

07:02There's also portrait video.
07:04No zoom though.
07:05And it's only 1080p at 30fps.

07:09Let's look at some sample shots.
07:35And that, folks, was our first look at the Vivo X200 Pro.
07:48As of release now, I can tell you these phones have monster cameras.
07:52The zooms and the portraits and the macro on this, just amazing.
07:55But of course, it's just our first look.
