00:22Today's video brings us a locked briefcase and inside that locked briefcase, the new
00:27Poco X3 GT.
00:29In true Poco fashion, this thing is supposed to be really powerful with a flagship MediaTek
00:345G chip, 120Hz display, 67W fast charging with a 5000mAh battery but also in affordable
00:44Poco pricing.
00:45In this video, we're gonna be checking out the Poco for the first time and also a quick
00:48camera tour plus some sample shots.
00:50Let's get to it.
00:52So we do have it in the typical yellow box, Poco X3 GT and yes, this is a 5G phone.
00:58We have the same branding on the sides, that bright yellow Poco sleeve, SIM tool, some
01:06Poco stickers, Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter, basically an audio dongle, some paperwork
01:13of course, a nice jelly case.
01:16We have the phone but as per usual, we're gonna look at what else is in the box.
01:21That is a 67W, yeah that's a 67W charger.
01:26We also have a USB-C charging cord.
01:34Nothing else in the box, time for the phone.
01:38Real quickly, the Poco X3 GT has a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 that's with 5G, it has 67W
01:45turbo charging, 5000mAh battery, you have a 120Hz display and that's also Corning Gorilla
01:54Glass Victus.
01:55You also have a high-resolution 64MP camera and Dolby Atmos dual speakers.
02:01Right, let's get to the phone.
02:09I don't know if you can see that, there are almost like glitters on that black back.
02:15I mean it's not really the first thing you notice when you look at a black phone but
02:19I just love that subtle tiny touch.
02:22So this phone does have, if I'm not mistaken, a white and a blue version but unfortunately
02:29review units only come in black now.
02:34Poco branding at the bottom, you have a camera module.
02:37Like mentioned earlier, it is a 64MP setup, three cameras here, that's a flash, you can
02:43see a teeny bump.
02:45Those are also nice tapered edges for better grip.
02:48You have a volume rocker here, you have a power button.
02:51I'm assuming that's also a fingerprint scanner with how that looks, we will find out.
02:56At the bottom, you have speakers, USB-C charging, SIM tray is on the other side.
03:01That's a dual SIM setup and then up top, you have speakers, a mic and I'm assuming an IR
03:08blaster.
03:09Anyway, powering this up and you guys know what's next.
03:12It's time for montage and let me give you this phone's specs.
03:21Alright, camera tour time.
03:41Oh, that was a fast fingerprint scanner and well, very nice screen.
03:47Again, that refresh rate you guys.
03:49Let's go on and do our camera tour.
03:52So we have photos, we have wide, 1x, 2x up until 10x.
04:00Up here, we have flash settings, HDR settings, you have AI, you have your filters.
04:07So there we go, different filters and a beauty mode toggle.
04:12There is Google Lens up there and then to the right, we have the portrait mode.
04:16Of course, you can adjust, as you can see, that's an aperture of 1 and that is more blurred
04:23versus an aperture of 16.
04:25Up here, you also have AI settings and here, you have different cinematic effects specifically
04:31made for the portrait mode and then beauty filters and different filters.
04:38Under more, we have a night mode that lets you do wide, 1x, 2x up until 10x as well.
04:46Oh, that's clear 10x and then you have settings.
04:50You have size, movie frame mode, show grid lines.
04:53Wait a minute, wait a minute.
04:55Let's go back to photos.
04:56We didn't press that.
04:57Okay, so we also have your size settings, timer settings, you have a movie frame mode
05:03which again, if you've seen any of my videos, you'd know that I like this cinematic mode.
05:07You can do wide, 1x, 2x up until 10x on movie frame mode.
05:15From this menu, you also have grid lines, macro mode, tilt shift, and time burst.
05:20Okay, let's move back to portrait mode.
05:23You have the same drop down menu with the size, timer, and also settings plus the movie
05:28frame mode.
05:29And then we're back to more.
05:31You also have a 64 megapixel shooter, again, the main shooter is 64 megapixels but like
05:36most phones right now in the market, it uses pixel binning to create supposedly better
05:40but smaller photos.
05:41So, if you want to shoot in 64 megapixels, you use this mode.
05:45When you zoom, yes, up until 2x, no wide on the 64 megapixel mode.
05:50You have flash settings, you have the different filters, and then on this menu, timer and
05:55different settings.
05:56And then we have the short video mode and again, I've told you about this mode.
06:00I like this mode because it's basically Android's solution to people saying that Instagram or
06:07other social media does not optimize Android phone cameras.
06:11So, what they did was they basically built in a mode in the camera app that allows you
06:17to shoot 15-minute clips here.
06:22And then straight from this mode, you can share to your social media via that button.
06:26So, your account should show up here once you've signed them on.
06:29So, aside from allowing you to shoot those short clips, you can do wide, you can do 2x
06:34up until 6x, but that is not all, folks.
06:39You can add different filters, you can add different beauty filters.
06:44There is a cool kaleidoscope mode, which is very trippy.
06:48And then on this side, you can make it super fast or super slow when you shoot your videos.
06:55And you can add a background music to whatever you shoot.
06:59So, it's basically a mode that allows you to shoot fun stuff straight on your camera
07:04app and then export to show social media.
07:07Up here, you also have settings so you can shoot in 1080p and there are different settings
07:12and guidelines.
07:13You have a panorama mode, a document scanner, a vlog mode.
07:16So, it's downloading, but really quickly, the vlog mode allows you to shoot really short
07:22but cinematic vlogs.
07:23It's basically a mode that gives you set templates.
07:33So, as you can see, there are different ones.
07:36And when you pick one, it allows you to literally hold the phone up.
07:40You can shoot and it will edit it for you.
07:43Just like that, a cinematic little vlog.
07:45You have a slow motion mode.
07:48Can you do wide?
07:49No.
07:50You can zoom in up until 3x and then up here, you can do 720, 1080, and in 720, you can
07:58do 960.
07:59In 1080, you can do 120fps.
08:02You have time-lapse mode.
08:04You can do wide, 1x, 2x, 6x.
08:10And then this is, ooh, you can change the speed.
08:14So that's 4x up until 1800x.
08:17And then you can change duration from infinity to like 240.
08:22Settings, you can shoot up until 4k 30fps time-lapse.
08:27There's a movie frame mode.
08:29You have different movie filters.
08:31You can even do different settings.
08:34So you can adjust your white balance, your aperture, your shutter speed, ISO.
08:39Interesting.
08:40You also have a long exposure mode.
08:43Different like sort of filters for different scenes that supposedly you'll be using this
08:48mode for.
08:49And then you have like instructions, use a tripod to capture longer exposure for star
08:53trails, starry sky, use a tripod, light painting, tripod, oil painting, neon trails.
08:59So that's cool.
09:01You have a dual video mode, hello.
09:04So you can do this, switch it around, zoom it in or out.
09:08You also have settings up here.
09:10Ooh, what's this?
09:11Ooh, switching it around.
09:12And then, oh my gosh, clone mode.
09:15Always, always fun.
09:16It allows you to shoot like clone-like photos and videos of yourself.
09:20In my previous like Poco or Xiaomi videos, I'm not sure which one it is, I've tried this
09:25out, this feature out.
09:27And yeah, let me know if you want me to do a camera vlog test or a social media test
09:31with this phone because these are the features that I usually try out when I do those tests.

09:36And then finally, you can edit the camera app as you can see there.
09:40So you can rearrange depending on which features you use most.
09:44On the other side, we have of course video.
09:47You have wide, 1x, 2x, up until 6x.
09:53And up here, flash settings, you have a steady video mode.
09:57So as you can see that cropped in, you have an HDR mode, you have movie filters, and then
10:04you have a beautify mode, also a live bokeh mode on video so everything blurred in the
10:11background.
10:12And then under settings, you can shoot up until 4K 30fps.
10:17You have settings, you have a movie frame mode, you have macro mode, track moving object,
10:21and AI camera.
10:22And then you have a pro mode.
10:24Ooh, so this is a pro mode for photos.
10:27You have white balance, aperture, shutter speed, ISO.
10:31You can use the wide, ultra wide, Mac.
10:34And then, what does this do?
10:36Ooh, so you have different metering modes, ooh, focus peaking, you can shoot in RAW.
10:41A lot of other good stuff here for mobile photographers.
10:45Aside from that though, you can do pro video.
10:49Ultra wide, macro wide, different settings.
10:52So yeah, this is pretty cool for people who like to take their photo and video taking
10:57up a notch but still want to use their phones.
10:59Right, of course, we're going to do selfies now.
11:01There is no selfie on the pro mode, but on video mode, of course, hiya!
11:05So this is HDR settings, you have different movie filters on here, and then, what is this?
11:12Beauty mode.
11:13So, look at my pimple.
11:17Smoothing it out, without, with, without.
11:22So, like I always say, the beauty mode is your friend if you treat it just like makeup
11:25to enhance the real you but never be afraid of your imperfections.
11:29Just you know, have fun with the beauty mode but always remember that no one's perfect.
11:33And then, you also have a bokeh mode.
11:36See that background change?
11:38And then, up here, it says that we can shoot in 1080p, 30fps.
11:41And there's also a movie frame mode on selfie video.
11:44On photo mode, you also have a very detailed beauty mode.
11:49As you can see, there are different toggles now but I usually just smoothen it a little
11:54and like turn off all other beauty mode things because I like my eyes, my nose, my chin,
12:00and my lips.
12:01Wait, no, not negative, only zero, okay.
12:04We have different filters as well.
12:07We have flash settings, HDR settings, AI, and of course, you have a palm shutter mode
12:11in here.
12:12You also have a movie frame mode.
12:14Palm shutter, my favorite way to take remote selfies.
12:20You also have a portrait mode.
12:22Ooh, nice bokeh.
12:23So, as you can see, you can toggle that around.
12:28And you also have your cinematic effects available on this side and AI, flash settings.
12:36You also have a palm shutter settings, timer settings, and a movie frame mode up there.
12:41And we're back at the bottom.
12:45You have your beautify toggle and even more filters.
12:49And we are back to more, which we've already done, so time for some sample shots.

13:19Truly looking like a powerful 5G flagship device, but of course, I'll need to spend
13:24more time with this phone to fully make my mind up about it.
