00:00Another unboxing and camera tour for you guys, this is the Poco F4, which Poco touts as another
00:13device with a flagship level experience.
00:17Let's take a look at what this phone can do.
00:48G'day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:54Yes, we just unboxed the Poco F4. And not to be confused with the Poco F4 GT, the Poco F4 just got announced tonight.
01:02And yes, because I'm sure you guys have questions, I will be putting these two phones side by side later on in the video.
01:08But first, let's take a closer look at this phone.
01:17Unboxing and camera tour
01:46So it is a nice, shiny, slightly reflective phone.
01:50Hi.
01:51But it can get smudgy, as with all shiny phones.
01:59Slight camera bump here, and there are like tiny steps to the camera.
02:04It's a 3 cam setup for this phone, and it does feel like a bigger phone, specifically because I have tinier hands.
02:11And I will say that these bigger phones are becoming more of the norm.
02:15Up top, those are speakers and an NFC.
02:18The sides are a little flat.
02:20And on the right side, you have a volume rocker, a power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
02:25At the bottom, speakers, USB-C port, SIM tray.
02:30And that is a dual SIM situation right there.
02:35The other side of the phone is clean, and then back to the top.
02:39Now, I wanted to put the POCO F4 side by side with the POCO F4 GT because, let's be honest, it got a little bit confusing right there.
02:48As is evident by the looks, and not so much by the naming, these are two very different phones.
02:54Now, just to quickly refresh your memory, the POCO F4 GT is that phone, the one with the gaming triggers built in.
03:02Pretty cool stuff.
03:03And if you want to see my video on this, I'll link it down below.
03:07But yeah, these two phones have different processors.
03:10The POCO F4 being powered by a Snapdragon 870.
03:14Meanwhile, the POCO F4 GT is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
03:19Even variants are different, with the POCO F4 being offered with the lowest variant of a 6GB 128GB version,
03:27and an 8GB 256GB version, and the F4 GT with an 8GB 128GB version to start, and a 12GB 256GB version.
03:37Both sport a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
03:46Battery-wise though, the POCO F4 has 4500mAh with 67W charging,
03:52while the POCO F4 has 4700mAh and 120W charging.
03:57Both of these phones have liquid cooling tech, and cameras are more or less the same.
04:05Camera tour time, and that is the fingerprint unlock.
04:08I feel like we haven't done this in a hot second.
04:11This is also what 120Hz looks like on the screen, and onto the cameras.
04:17Hey, so we have a wide 1x, 2x, up until 10x.
04:26Back to 1x.
04:28Up here, flash settings, HDR settings, AI, you have your different filters.
04:34There's a beauty filter.
04:36There's also Google Lens.
04:38And then here, you have other settings, like you have your size ratio, time,
04:45movie frame mode, macro mode is here, tilt, shift, and time burst.
04:49To the right, you have a portrait mode, and you also have your different cinematic effects.
04:55As you can see, my background is also now blurred, and that blur is something that you can adjust here.
05:01So, an aperture of 16, not blurred at all, to an aperture of 1, which makes it look very, very blurred.
05:08Here, you have beautify filters, and then up here, even more settings, very similar to the photo mode.
05:15Under more, there's a lot.
05:17Okay, so we have the night mode, and you can do wide 1x, 2x, up until 10x.
05:24Back to 1x.
05:25You also have size settings and a movie frame mode.
05:29You have a 64-megapixel mode.
05:32We've seen this before.
05:33Main camera, 64 megapixels, but output isn't 64 megapixels because, of course, pixel binning.
05:39But if you want to shoot 64-megapixel photos, you can go on this mode.
05:43There are also filters up here.
05:45Can you zoom in or out?
05:47You can zoom in up until 2x, and you have a menu over here.
05:52And then you have a short video mode.
05:55This mode, I've said a couple of times before.
05:58This is basically something that Android, Xiaomi in this case, decided to solution the problem of social media not being optimized for Android phones.
06:10So basically, this is a mode built into the camera app.
06:13It shoots short video, 15 seconds in this case, and then from here, you can send it straight to your social media apps.
06:21And if you sign in, they'll show up here.
06:24Aside from that, though, you can also edit them here.
06:27So you have slow-mo.
06:29You have fast-forward.
06:30You have your different filters.
06:32You have beauty filters.
06:34You have the kaleidoscope mode.
06:36And then you can add background music as well.
06:40You have a panorama mode, a document scanner.
06:43Your vlog mode, again, just a fun little way to create your own little vlogs.
06:49Basically allows you to shoot depending on template, and it does the editing for you.
06:55You have a slow-motion mode.
06:58You have a time-lapse mode.
07:01You have movie effect modes.
07:03Okay, so if you want me to check out all these different fun modes, let me know in the comment section down below.
07:09I usually do them in a social media test, so let me know if that's something you want to see.
07:14You have a long exposure mode.
07:16You also have a dual video mode.
07:19Of course, you can change this around.
07:21You have a clone mode.
07:22Always fun.
07:24And then let's move on to the other side.
07:26You have your video mode.
07:28You can do wide, 1x, 2x, up until 6x, back to 1x.
07:34Up here, you have flash settings.
07:36You have your steady video here.
07:39You have your different filters.
07:42You have your beautify mode and bokeh on video.
07:46So as you can see, my background becomes blurred if we toggle it up this way.
07:51And then you have a pro mode which allows you all the different settings.
07:55You can do photos and videos on this mode.
07:58And then selfie.
08:02So this is your video mode.
08:04No zooming in or out.
08:06And then you have your filters.
08:08You have your beautify mode.
08:10You have your bokeh.
08:11And it does blur out the background.
08:14You have your photos.
08:15No zooming in or out.
08:17You have even more detailed beauty filters.
08:20And more filters.
08:22HDR mode.
08:23Different settings up here.
08:24Of course, my favorite, palm shutter which allows you to selfie that easily.
08:33You have a portrait mode.
08:34Again, you can choose the level of blur here.
08:39There are different cinematic effects as well.
08:42And then you have your beautify filters.
08:44And then we're back to more which we've already seen.
08:46Now, time for some sample shots.
09:04And that was our look at the POCO F4 GT.
09:06Let me know if you guys have questions.
09:08Let me know if you want to see a social media test or a camera vlog test with this phone.
