00:00Friends, I finally did it. My very first desk setup.

00:11Good day, you beautiful people. Welcome to Issa Does Tech, where we do tech in your life,
00:15in style, and in this case, in pink. Like I said at the start of this video, I finally gave in
00:21and did a whole desk setup. And of course, if you know me, this won't come as a shock. Everything,
00:27well, most of the things are in pink. In this video, I just walk you through my work area and
00:32share with you guys, well, this little space where all the magic happens. Let's start.
00:38So really the first thing on this list is the thing that started it all, this desk from Flexispot.
00:44And I just like how it's a very sleek and simple desk. But like, that's not even the best part.
00:50First of all, it has a little drawer. I personally found that pretty ingenious because, I mean,
00:57it's just optimizing the space that you have. It's not necessarily a drawer that fits a lot,
01:04but it fits enough and a lot of the stuff that I don't want just like on my desk. I also especially
01:10love that there are ports here. So you have two USB-As and I'm actually charging my batteries
01:14up here right now. And then there's one USB-C. This is a child lock and this is pretty useful
01:21if you have children in your home. Basically, when you press this, it just locks your whole
01:26desk and no one can do anything with the buttons. And finally, as you saw, the best part about this
01:33desk is that it has an adjustable height and all you need to do is press a teeny little button.
01:39So this is actually the lowest it'll go and it will tell you if it's at the lowest possible height.
01:46And let's see how high this thing will go. That's actually quite high. This just means you can
01:55preset certain heights. So I've set number one up to be the height where I work when I'm sitting
02:00down and it'll give you a specific level once you've set it. See, now that's a perfect 90-degree
02:08angle for my working. Honestly, pretty useful because since I move the table height a lot,
02:14it just makes it much faster to adjust. Next up, and you guys, I didn't realize how much I'd like
02:22this thing, this bunny chair. Okay, but I mean, look at this thing. It's so cute and pink and
02:29these bunny ears, they're detachable and they're little bunny headbands. Now, obviously, it swivels
02:37around but look at this. Oh my gosh, there is a little bunny tail. Isn't it cute? There is a
02:45lumbar support pillow, there is a neck pillow, there is a really cute bunny face which can greet
02:51you a happy morning each day as you try and get to work. Armrests are also like adjustable.
02:58You can make it this low or this high. Also adjustable forward or back. Height is also
03:07adjustable and even reclining, you get it. Right, let's move on to the actual work stuff.
03:16So first up, I have this desk mat here. It's just so pretty, I couldn't say no to a light pink color.
03:22I feel like it adds character to my whole setup. Well, because it's pink, sometimes I shoot on this
03:29mat, sometimes I shoot on the bamboo. Also, I got this on Amazon and it doesn't look cheap at all.
03:35I love this. Now, of course, I work on my M1 MacBook right here. Now, at the time I'm shooting this,
03:42we're still waiting for the new 14-inch MacBook and stay tuned because I will have a video on
03:48the 14-inch MacBook. In the meantime, I'm still on this trusty laptop and with this laptop, I basically
03:54use two accessories with it. First up is the Logitech MX Keys Mini which I absolutely adore.
04:02It's such a sleek little device. Also allows you to connect to three different devices and there
04:08are shortcut buttons for it. And aside from that, there are cool shortcut buttons like this is text
04:14to speech, this is an emoji button, this is a screenshot button, and this is a mute button.
04:19Now, here's the deal. Guys, I know that those are things that you can do on your laptop with
04:24different buttons but that's not the point. The point is that these are here and they're faster
04:29and easier to get to because these are keys that you always use. I also have Apple's Magic Trackpad
04:35on here which is one of the more expensive items on this desk tour. It's pretty sleek and way bigger
04:43than your original MacBook trackpad. This is where you charge it, this is the on-off button,
04:49and then you have the whole trackpad to use and you can also tap on this. Honestly, you guys, I edit
04:55using my trackpad a lot and getting this Magic Trackpad was the best decision I've ever made,
05:01I swear by it. It's just such an easy way to get stuff done without any adjustment coming from my
05:09MacBook. Of course, my MacBook is propped up on this little stand and yes, it's pink too. So first
05:15off, I love that this stand is so lightweight and yet it can carry my MacBook's weight. It also folds
05:23into like nothing so you can bring it anywhere. It has different adjustable heights and it can go
05:30this low to this high and this is basically the height that I have my MacBook on. It raises up
05:39your laptop screen to the level of your eyes and that means less strain for your back. I didn't
05:45think much of this before but trust me guys, there's a difference. Now next up, I got this really,
05:50really nice cool looking aesthetic mirror. Since I shoot videos, it's definitely a good buy. I mean,
05:57it also looks pretty nice. Pretty lightweight and it's very cheap but it doesn't look cheap.
06:04I tried flowers by the way here, here, and here. I also got them in one box but then I put them in
06:11like these cute little bottles. In this case, it was a box from some product they make for really
06:18cute decor. Just for my desk really but also for my shoot. Now this next thing, everyone's been
06:25raving about this on TikTok. This is something I got from Ikea and if you do TikTok or shoot videos
06:32with your phone, this might just be your best friend. Now this is a phone mount and this is a
06:37ring light. Both of them are fully adjustable and then you can use them apart or together.
06:44It honestly works really well so say you're shooting something, put your phone on here and then
06:50obviously it's a great way to mount your phone. And then this ring light has lighting options
06:56too. So you have white, you have combination, you have yellow, and then you can make it dimmer, you can
07:03make it brighter. So this is my shot right now and look at the difference lighting makes really.
07:12Have to say, might just be my best Ikea buy. I also have this on my desk which is a gift from a
07:19friend. Hi Stacey. It's really cool. She made this herself and it's string art for my logo. It's so
07:26cute. I have a few things left on the other side of the desk. This I've sworn by since well way
07:33back. This is a phone soap and it now comes in this color. This is called Orchid. But what it is
07:40really is that it's a UVC light phone sanitizer. Put your phone in, close it, and when that's lit
07:47up it means it's sanitizing your phone. I also like that this has a slot for your cord so you
07:53can plug it into the phone. So plug in your phone and close it and it'll charge while it's sanitizing.
07:59And finally, this has like acoustic slots or basically holes so that if you're playing let's
08:05say a podcast on your phone, even if you're sanitizing it, you'll be able to hear it. If
08:10there are alerts, you'll be able to hear it. This also has a safety feature. When you open it, it
08:15shuts down automatically because UVC light isn't supposed to go on human skin. And this is plugged
08:20in here so that's what gives it power. And there are also different charging ports on the back so
08:25you can just plug in your phone to this when you're using it. I have this cactus lamp here
08:30just because it's cute. It's also not very expensive and I love succulents so that's
08:37staying on my desk. You have the option to plug this in and you can put in batteries like I did
08:43because the less cores, the better. This is the Divoom Pixel Lite speaker. Charge it here and you can
08:50plug in an SD card. Right now, it's connected to my phone and it works as great speakers. What's also
08:57pretty cool is that you can connect it to your app and this will allow you to, well, put whatever you
09:05want on that screen. These keys are also really satisfying to press and you have here like different
09:13display settings, volume settings. You can play certain things on here. Back. Yeah. I mean, aside from
09:23being functional, it's like just the cutest thing ever. I also have this MagSafe charger from Sonix
09:30and I really like this because it has a cute design on it. Then, we have more pressed flowers
09:36and then just this really nice and very simple rose gold phone stack. I love this because I
09:44actually put my phones here and go on calls with people or it just serves as a spot to like
09:50hold my phone. Now, you may have noticed this Pantone artwork on the back. I ordered this print
09:56from Society6 and I got a frame from Amazon to match it. It's on the table now but I've been
10:03planning to mount it. I just haven't made up my mind about it. My other favorite thing on the wall,
10:09this is my DIY artwork. Basically, walked into a hardware store, got paint chips, and put it in a
10:16frame. See, the whole thing with these two frames, I wanted something pink on my walls but I couldn't
10:21think of what to put so I literally just put the color pink because that was what I wanted anyway.
10:27Worked out. And that, folks, was my very first ever pink aesthetic desk tour. This is quite literally
10:35where I've been shooting a lot of the content that you've been seeing lately. I really hope
