00:00Alright guys, let's talk about some smartphone deals. Let's look at some recent price cuts
00:04We've got in the used refurbished marketplace. You guys know, I'm always
00:08Searching and looking them up
00:10so one of the things that actually surprised me is that the s22 ultra is going for around
00:16650 bucks in the used refurbished marketplace
00:19I was really surprised by that because I thought it would be a few more months into the year until we saw that
00:25You know sort of price drop, but I was really surprised to see them training on Amazon
00:30for that and these are USA prices guys and
00:33The s22 ultra is an awesome flagship. Its original price was around $1,200
00:39But currently it's sitting between 750 and 650 now
00:43But the price is at 650 they go pretty fast. So if you see them for 650, I would definitely
00:49Just you know buy it's a really good deal
00:52So I made my update video on this phone like a year later
00:55And not too long ago if you guys want to check that out in more detail, but this phone is fantastic
01:00I was using it as my daily driver as well, too
01:04And I was just really really impressed with the performance overall
01:08The phone's design is just really beautiful to look at now, even though I'm not a fan of the super boxy
01:14You know sort of designed here
01:17Like I said only because I have smaller hands
01:20It's sort of difficult to or kind of sharp on the edges and it's just sort of difficult to hold because it's kind of wide
01:25But other than that, it's a really really
01:28Beautiful looking phone here, you know the full premium glass and metal ip68 the built-in s-pen
01:35Like I said, you get this for 650. It's a it's a really good deal
01:38The screen is probably my favorite thing about this phone. It's a dynamic amoled displayed HDR 10 plus
01:45120 Hertz with
01:461750 nits peak brightness
01:49extremely bright outdoors at 6.8 inches
01:521440p display 500 for the PPI top-notch beautiful display. It has the sort of boxy design
01:59Which means that it just feels like you know more similar to a TV
02:04So it's just a beautiful experience when watching content Samsung again making some of the best displays now
02:10This phone has gotten even smoother with Android
02:1313 when you are 5.1 animations and everything are definitely smoother
02:17It just feels more fluid and fast. The base model is 128 gigs and 8 gigs of RAM
02:24Overall, it's just been a blazing fast phone when it comes to bouncing in and out of applications gaming
02:31Whatever you're doing on this phone. It just feels super buttery smooth. So absolutely love
02:36You know how polished when you I has has gotten over the years
02:40This phone also does have all of your specs that you can really want as far as additional features
02:46Samsung desktop support is an awesome thing to have stereo speakers on here
02:50I actually not my favorite thing about the phone a Samsung did recently improve on it with the s23
02:56But the stereo speakers are just kind of in my opinion below average. They're just not loud doesn't have a lot of bass
03:01That's my only thing about this phone
03:03Indisplay fingerprint sensor works great very fast. You can take advantage of face unlock as well, too
03:09And like I said, you got the S pen which works awesome
03:12If you're into digital artwork, or you know, you just want to use the stylus right to navigate this phone still has top-notch cameras
03:20So basically, it's not a big difference from the s23 ultra
03:24It still has the top tier camera in here 108 megapixel lens 10 megapixel periscope telephoto
03:3010x optical zoom 10 megapixel telephoto lens 3 times optical zoom 12 megapixel ultra wide and then this one shoots at
03:398k24 with a 40 megapixel selfie that also shoots in 4k 60
03:43It's got the crazy hundred times zoom and I actually took a picture of the moon
03:48With this phone and it came out really nice
03:50This is a really cool feature to have to be able to zoom in really far
03:55But just not you know, the hundred times zoom and really the ten times in one here is absolutely amazing
04:00This phones take some of the best zoom shots in any phone in my opinion. It's just really really nice
04:05I think even 30 times zoom looks really awesome
04:08So if you're out at sporting events or anything like that, this is such an awesome phone to have with you now battery life
04:14On the s22 ultra is pretty decent 5,000 milliamp battery now Samsung made a massive leap with the s23 ultra
04:21This phone can get me around six hours
04:24Screen on time, which is not bad at all
04:26It's actually technically a full day and then you have 45 watt
04:30Charging on here, which is pretty decently fast with wireless and reverse wireless charging
04:34So overall, this is an excellent buy for anybody considering getting this phone and use refurbished marketplace
04:41Now next is the Asus Zenfone 9. I've been waiting for this phone to make a dramatic price cut
04:46But it's literally one of the best compact phone
04:48So it hasn't made that big of a a drop in price when I first got it when it first came out got it for
04:54around 800 bucks now, it's sitting at around 650 or
04:59700 it's like 650 700 so not a massive drop
05:03But it's just an awesome device like this is just
05:06Amazing compact flagship you have on here aluminum frame
05:09This actually has a plastic back, but I like the plastic bag because it's a textured back and it just feels really nice
05:16Nothing about this phone feels cheap. So
05:18It still has that premium feel to it. It's IP 68 dust and water resistant very easy to hold has a very
05:25Really nice feel in the hands. That's one thing that I really like
05:28It's got a super amoled display 120 Hertz HDR 10 plus
05:321100 nits peak brightness and it's a 5.9 inch display. So anybody with smaller hands
05:37This phone is extremely easy to hold
05:39So you won't be straining your hand or having to use two hands. You can use this with one hand pretty comfortable and
05:45It's 1080p 445 for the PPI punch hole on the left-hand side. I just think the overall
05:53Display experience and overall just feel of the phone. It's really awesome
05:56I absolutely love the way it looks and how it feels in the hand this phone
06:00Android 13 snapdragon 8 gen 1 plus chip on here 128 gigs of internal storage 6 gigs of RAM
06:07They do have higher configurations as well to you that you can go up to you. This phone is buttery smooth
06:12it's pretty much running a
06:14Sort of like a stock version of Android a suits those in a couple little things
06:17But it's kind of like stock Android and it's just a very smooth experience. I absolutely love it
06:22It just feels extremely fluid and smooth and the snapdragon
06:26Processor on here the agent one. It's just awesome
06:29it's very fast and again
06:31This is a phone that you can do play games on and pretty much do anything on and it's just a very fast phone
06:37And it actually doesn't heat up as much as you would think
06:41So this phone actually stays relatively cool for the most part compared to some other snapdragon phones
06:47So this phone also has something very cool it actually still has a headphone jack, which is pretty crazy
06:53So you can't really find a lot of flagships with a headphone jack
06:56So if you're somebody that's a diehard headphone jack lover, this phone does have it's very awesome
07:01Not only that but the stereo speakers on here are absolutely insane for this size device
07:07They sound really really loud really loud bass just excellent sounding very full sounding speakers
07:14That's one of the things that I love about this phone fingerprint scanner. Also, this is another one fingerprint scanner a side mounted
07:21Absolutely. Awesome. That's my favorite implementation. It just feels extremely natural getting into this phone as well, too
07:27So absolutely love a lot of things about this phone
07:30I think the cameras are top-notch over here to this phone did actually really well in the blind smartphone test as well, too

08:15So not only that but it actually gets better this phone has a 4300 milliamp battery 30 watt charging
08:22Guys, this phone has awesome battery life
08:25It's absolutely insane and I'm talking about at least two days battery life for me
08:31If you're a light user
08:32Two days battery life if even if you're a heavier kind of user, you know gaming and stuff
08:37You still get a full day battery life out of this size phone is actually pretty impressive. So this is something I absolutely
08:44Love this is an awesome phone to consider. Alright, next is the pixel 6 Pro. This phone is absolutely insane
08:49It's trending around 322 to 268 for Verizon locked version as well, too
08:55So this phone is pretty cheap now and it's absolutely incredible
08:59Considering the fact that this phone literally has one of the best cameras, you know that you can get in a smartphone still today

09:09This phone has still a really nice design aluminum frame glass back IP 68 dust and water resistant has that beautiful pixel
09:16Design that we all know love with the camera bar just looks really sweet
09:21So this phone has an LTP or AMOLED display. It's 120 Hertz HDR 10 plus at 6.7 inches
09:28It's a full 1440p
09:30512 for the PPI
09:32Absolutely, beautiful display and this phone actually still feels pretty comfortable even for a big phone. It's not as boxy
09:39So I do like that
09:41And like I said, the display experience is really nice on here
09:45Very beautiful display great color is super sharp and you got the punch hole in the middle
09:50Now what you'll really like about this phone is that it's running pure stock Android. That's one of the selling points
09:57So this phone is just buttery smooth when it comes to animations. It just feels extremely fluid
10:03Not only that but when Google releases Android 14, you'll be one of the first people to actually get the update
10:11You'll be one of the first people to be able to run the betas and all that stuff
10:14So definitely guys if you're into, you know, just the pure Google experience, you'll really really like this phone
10:22Alright, so you do have 128
10:25Gigs of internal storage and 12 gigs of RAM believe it or not. This phone is pretty fast
10:29It has the original Google tensor chip and it still performs really well
10:34Like I said with you know, a few updates this phone is running
10:38Fantastically, like I said the Google tensor chip. I dropped the gaming test
10:41It does pretty decent with games like I think the overall casual gamer will really like this phone
10:47I was able to play PUBG Call of Duty mobile, you know anything you throw at it. It does a pretty good job
10:52So yeah, is it gonna be as good as the snapdragon phones when it comes to just raw power?
10:57No, but this phone does do a good job. I think for the casual gamer, you know playing at HDR extreme
11:03It still looks very smooth. I had no issues with any games on here. Alright, so
11:10This phone does have some pretty nice sounding stereo speakers pretty good bass quality on here as well, too
11:16It just overall sounds really full and of course you have under the display fingerprint sensor
11:21Now the under the display fingerprint sensor it works. It's an optical one
11:26So basically you have to apply a little bit of pressure to it, but once you get the hang of it
11:30Like I said, it's not as fast as the Samsung ones
11:34But like I said this one you apply a little bit pressure
11:36It's just something you got to get the hang of but it's not bad by any means
11:40Now the only thing I didn't like about this phone's biometrics is that there's no face unlock now
11:46They did add that with the pixel 7 Pro, but it's not here on the 6 Pro
11:50All right, so this phone the selling point is really the
11:54cameras
11:5550 megapixel standard 48 megapixel telephoto does 4x optical zoom and then a 12 megapixel ultrawide
12:02It's using 4k 60 and then you have a 11.1 ultrawide selfie cam that also shoots in 4k 30
12:09This phone still takes some of the best deals
12:12in any smartphone in my opinion
12:14This phone just takes excellent shots like for me personally if I'm gonna go somewhere
12:19I know I'm gonna take a lot of photos
12:21I'm always gonna bring my pixel device because I just like the way that the image processing looks
12:26I think it just does a great job with the nice night mode
12:30Shots as well, too. Like I said, the telephoto is pretty solid
12:33Overall the cameras and just Google's image processing is just awesome here
12:38Everything just looks so nice and I just absolutely love the colors that it does for skin tones as well, too
12:44Video is kind of okay
12:46On this phone, it's not bad. But I think Samsung and Apple's they still do better video
12:51Just in general Google's that's something that Google needs to work on
12:54But like I said the video experience for I think the average person if you're out, you know on a sunny day or whatever
13:00It's gonna take pretty good video, right? I even film a lot of my shorts YouTube shorts with the pixel 7 Pro
13:07So the video on pixel devices, they're really not that bad
13:11All right, so lastly the 5,000 milliamp battery on here it does a pretty good job
13:17I'm able to squeeze around six hours of screen on time out of this phone as well to
13:2123 watt charging and you also have 23 watt wireless and reverse wireless charging is on here as well, too
13:27Overall the pixel 6 Pro is a fantastic phone. Definitely check this one out
13:32All right. Next is the iPhone 13 mini and this is such an awesome phone and my mom actually really likes this phone
13:39I actually gave her the one that I had and
13:42It's just an awesome device. You can pick it up for
13:45$450 $500 if you like smaller phones, this is again a really nice choice
13:51Aluminum frame glass back. It's IP 68 dust and water resistant very easy to hold
13:56One of the smallest screens that you can get in a flagship right now
14:015.4 inches the XDR OLED redden display. It's got HDR 10 1200 nits peak brightness

14:12So if 5.9 inches was too big this definitely you could definitely one hand this

14:27It's a blazing fast phone guys when it comes to performance and you can literally play anything. It's buttery smooth
14:34There's nothing that this phone can't do and it's gonna be fast for a very very long time as well, too
14:39You got 128 gigs of internal storage and 4 gigs of RAM on here as well
14:44Stereo speakers are pretty loud for a device of this size
14:47Great bass quality has really good full sound and of course you got your all face ID
14:52All that good stuff is on here
14:54But one of the highlights with this phone is that image quality is still top-notch again for this price point

15:33This phone was able to go I think around like five almost six hours something like that
15:39Playing pub G. It was really impressive for this size phone
15:42You also have wireless and reverse wireless charging not reverse wireless, but the MagSafe
15:48charging on here as well, too and
15:50It's a fantastic device for anybody looking for a small flagship
15:54Alright lastly and I think honestly the best phone on the list the galaxy s21 ultra you can pick up for 400 bucks
16:01It's an absolutely fantastic choice guys
16:05It still has a very beautiful design. Some would even argue. It looks better than the the newer phones
16:11Aluminum frame glass back ip68 dust and water resistant. This phone does have stylus support guys
16:17So if you were worried like oh, I want to use a stylus with this phone. You can actually use a stylus
16:23It is compatible. You just have to buy the case in the you know, the pen now
16:27This phone also has a dynamic AMOLED display 120 Hertz HDR 10 plus 1500 nits peak brightness
16:336.8 inches 1440p 515 for the PPI. This is display
16:39I actually prefer this display because it's not as boxy. It's still big and beautiful
16:44But like I said for a phone this size, it's just easier to hold
16:48So even for me like this phone is like 10 times more comfortable to hold so that's one thing I really really liked about this phone
16:56This phone also has Android 13 when you are 5.1
17:00Still very fast very snappy. It has a snapdragon triple-a processor
17:05The only thing about this chip is that when you're doing like intense stuff for a long period of time
17:11Video recording gaming for a few hours. It can get a little bit warmer than I would like
17:16Check out the PUBG drain test that I did. It does get a little bit warm now
17:21It hasn't it hasn't ever like started crashing or glitching or anything like that
17:26But yeah, it does kind of get warm, but most people have a case on it
17:29So they might not notice but yeah, this phone does can get a little bit warm
17:33It's got 128 gigs of internal storage and 12 gigs of RAM on here stereo speakers on here
17:39Sound great very full good bass
17:41And then you have the under the display fingerprint sensor and all of the additional features basically you have my newer phones
17:47Samsung desktop support all that good stuff
17:49Not only that but this phone also gets five years of security patches when it's done
17:54With this major OS update. So this one will have a very very long lifespan now
18:00The cameras on this phone are still top-notch cameras. I think the cameras are still pretty good
18:06Just check out my s21 ultra versus the s23
18:10The pictures to me that look look almost the same you can tell a slight difference, but this still takes awesome photos

18:53So, you know, I just think it's just great for the money that you're spending here

19:06Six hours of screen on time again is what I can squeeze out of this phone
19:09and I'm gonna do another battery drain test just using it as regular for you guys, but
19:15Six hours screen on time technically a full day. So it definitely can't get you through a full day
19:20But like I said this phone if you sort of like use it a little bit more intense
19:25It can die on you a little bit
19:28But overall my experience has been pretty good with this phone
