00:00Previously on The Celebrity Apprentice...
00:03Good morning.
00:04Morning.
00:05With only five celebrities left,
00:07Mr. Trump forced them to rely on their wits.
00:10You're going to go out and make some Quiznos sandwiches.
00:13You're going to sell the sandwich for $2.
00:16You cannot use your Rolodex.
00:18The battle to make it to the final four began.
00:21Get going.
00:22Trace immediately took control for Empresario.
00:25What kind of sandwich do you want to make?
00:27Well, I think we ought to call it Cowboy Club.
00:29And on the street, his celebrity power became apparent.
00:32You know who the guy is? Trace Adkins.
00:34Oh, my God!
00:35When you got a guy like Trace Adkins
00:37who's been surprising everybody,
00:39you know, you put a little Stevie B cherry on top,
00:42and it's yummy, dude.
00:43On Hydra...
00:44It's a champ sandwich.
00:45Ooh, that's a big one.
00:46Although Lennox was the project manager,
00:48Pierce tried to call the shots.
00:50The champ sandwich, right?
00:51Are you a program manager here?
00:53No, I'm suggesting to him.
00:54Do you want me to give good ideas or not, Carol?
00:56And once again, Lennox served as Hydra's marketing tool.
00:59All you have to do is have a product,
01:01put my face on it, and make me smile.
01:04In the boardroom...
01:06Hydra sold 313 sandwiches.
01:08Hydra won by sheer volume sales.
01:11Empresario, they're getting you loose.
01:13And Ivanka put Trace on the spot.
01:16Trace, who do you think's stronger
01:18and able to raise the most money for their charity
01:20in the task to come?
01:22Me.
01:23Trace called out Steven.
01:25I've been working with Steven for a good while now.
01:28I haven't seen him bring in any money.
01:30Forcing Mr. Trump to look at Steven's overall performance.
01:33Steven, you really didn't raise money
01:36over the last number of weeks.
01:38Moving forward, I just feel that Trace has more to offer.
01:42Steven, you're fired.
01:44And Steven was shown the door.
01:46Then the final four were given some shocking news.
01:50We're going to continue this elimination process right now
01:54before the night is over.
01:56Two of you will be fired.
02:01Ten celebrities have gone.
02:06And now only four remain.
02:09Multi-platinum country star Trace Atkins.
02:12The original supermodel Carol Ault.
02:15That's almost coming out.
02:17Heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis.
02:19And America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan.
02:23They are battling it out for their favourite charities.
02:25I'm going to try and win this thing and get you a load more money.
02:28But only one will win the ultimate title of the Celebrity Apprentice.
02:37You are now going to be interviewed
02:39by two of the great business reporters anywhere.
02:43CNBC's Aaron Burnett and Mad Money's Jim Cramer.
02:47You're not going to find better business minds anywhere.
02:51They're going to speak to each one of you.
02:53And you're going to try and convince them
02:55why you should be the Celebrity Apprentice.
02:58They're going to see me later.
03:00They're going to tell me their favourite
03:02and they're going to tell me their least favourite.
03:04And then I'll decide who are the two contestants
03:07that get to compete for the title of the Celebrity Apprentice.
03:14So wait outside. Go have a good interview.
03:17Because tonight, two more people will be fired.
03:22Okay, go ahead.
03:26We were surprised.
03:28Within the next hour or two, two more people were going to get fired.
03:33We were going to do personal one-on-one interviews
03:37with Jim Cramer and Aaron Burnett.
03:40This is going to really count a lot towards who makes the final two.
03:45He's got to fire two more people.
03:51How do you feel about being the chosen few, Joyce?
03:55I'm surprised.
03:57I could see on their faces they were getting a bit nervous
04:00and I was pretty confident
04:02because the one thing I'm good at is talking.
04:05So my chances have probably gone from here to here.
04:12Let's get it on.
04:14MUSIC
04:45Dollar bill, y'all
04:47MUSIC
05:15MUSIC
05:36They're ready for you. You can go on in.
05:41Okay.
05:45MUSIC
05:48How are you? Fine, thank you. Good to see you tonight.
05:51And you. I want to talk to you a little bit about your charity.
05:54It's called the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
05:56It looks after and supports the servicemen.
05:58My personal involvement is that my brother is an army officer in Britain
06:02and has fought side by side with the US Marines,
06:05so I have very personal involvement of the American military
06:08in relation to my family.
06:10Your charity, is it because of your daughter? Food allergies?
06:13Severe food allergies.
06:14She can go into anaphylactic shock
06:16and we've been to the emergency room, you know,
06:19that frantic dash five or six times a day.
06:23It's a heartbreaking thing.
06:25I've actually been to D.C. and lobbied on Capitol Hill
06:28to just make them more aware of things they can do
06:30and ways that they can safeguard these children.
06:33We are basically gathering money
06:36and looking for deserving charities.
06:39It might be pediatric aids this year,
06:41it might be sudden infant death next year.
06:43Our charity doubled in just one year.
06:47I want to see if we can triple it or quadruple it in the next year.
06:51How will you use this great opportunity
06:53for the Ali Foundation for the world?
06:56Uh, what is this?
06:58Um...
07:01People have to feel that, you know,
07:03they want to give you money for your charity.
07:08What's your best moment in this competition?
07:10I was able to harness the energy of all the people in my team
07:13and the creativity flowed.
07:15It was almost easy.
07:17Playing myself to create excitement
07:21and for people to acknowledge that, yeah, the champ is here.
07:25I will conclude my time on this show with my integrity intact.
07:29Do you think that being a bit mean might hurt your ability
07:33in terms of getting other people to care and want to donate money?
07:36When I'm mean, I tend to be mean because of my commitment
07:39to the charity that I'm backing here.
07:42I've raised probably three times
07:44as much as any other contestant in the show,
07:46and I want to win this.
07:48I need some reasons to axe some other people.
07:50Trace and Lennox are slow
07:52when it comes to actually getting on the challenges.
07:54I've just seen some people take advantage of other people
07:57and just... just rip them apart.
08:00Will you please give me a name?
08:02Oh, that'd be Piers, you know, Mr Morgan.
08:05I think I can raise a lot more money than he can.
08:08I can out-raise Lennox. I'm being honest here.
08:10What have you learned from Mr Trump?
08:12How do I know that you really believe in me?
08:14Give me also a sense of what you did wrong when you won.
08:16Were you involved in charities?
08:18How much have you raised so far in this competition?
08:20Do you host a fundraiser?
08:21You exhausted your Rolodex.
08:23So what specifically will you do?
08:25At any given time, didn't you want to just say,
08:27I don't have to put up with this?
08:29We'll just screw up on the worst in this competition.
08:32I pretty well haven't made a mistake.
08:34Wow, it's amazing.
08:35You're probably the first person I've ever met in my career
08:37that's never made a mistake.
08:39Coming up, find out who will make it to the final two.
08:43Aaron, if you had to pick two, who would they be?
08:58Let's see how you did.
09:05Hi, Aaron. Hi, Jim.
09:07What did you think?
09:09I thought you had a pretty passionate crew there, Donald.
09:11And I was very impressed by how much each of them individually cared.
09:15Who did you like the least?
09:17Pierce.
09:18Because of the edge.
09:20He cared, certainly.
09:21His family being involved in the war in Iraq,
09:23I mean, that was very inspiring to me.
09:25But there was an edge there.
09:26There was something that just didn't warm me up.
09:29But the guy raises a lot of money.
09:31If you want to make the most money, he's your man.
09:34He will raise the most money.
09:36Things like teamwork, leadership matters.
09:39Well, it always matters, I think.
09:41Then Pierce must be stopped.
09:43Jim, who do you like the best?
09:45You can't go wrong with Carol.
09:47Is that because she's beautiful?
09:48Okay, she's a knockout.
09:49I'm going to stipulate knockout.
09:50She's stunning.
09:51Carol was like a business person in there.
09:53She sat there and said, here's my goal.
09:55She could literally lay it all out.
09:57I detected in her a quiet hunger.
09:59But didn't you see that also with Lennox Lewis?
10:01No, I didn't.
10:02I wanted to.
10:03I wanted to come in here and tell you,
10:05I want to go with Lennox,
10:06but I felt that he was too laid back for me.
10:08Did you think somebody was, like, outstanding?
10:10Trace is my favorite right now.
10:12You know, if this guy went out
10:14and was raising money for something,
10:15and he said, Aaron, I want you to give money to this,
10:18I'd do it.
10:19Jim, if you had to pick two, who would they be?
10:21I'm going with Trace, and I'm going with Carol.
10:24I think that they have the leadership,
10:26the bearing, and the integrity that you're looking for
10:28in a real leader.
10:30Aaron, if you had to pick two, who would they be?
10:40You can go on in.
10:42Good luck, guys.
10:59Well, two people are going to go,
11:02but you've really all done an outstanding job,
11:04and you can be proud of yourselves.
11:06It's been an amazing process.
11:08So congratulations, all four.
11:11Lennox, what did you think of the interview
11:13with Aaron Burnett and Jim Cramer?
11:16I thought it was good.
11:18You know, I'm used to those type of questions,
11:21and it's nothing that I was concerned about.
11:25What did you think, Trace, of the interview process?
11:28I liked speaking with Ms. Burnett.
11:32She seemed to be a very knowledgeable, smart lady.
11:35And then Jim, he, you know,
11:38I mean, he's such a different person than I am.
11:41I thought I would feel like...
11:42Do they have guys like Jim Cramer in the country?
11:44Not many that I know.
11:45Not too many.
11:46Because you're sitting there, and he's asking you a question,
11:49and it just sounds like...
11:51You know, he's just rapid-fire, machine-gun-type stuff,
11:54and I'm trying to stay with him,
11:56but I felt like I was playing ping-pong
11:58with a world champ or something.
12:00Well, Aaron thought you were terrific, I have to say.
12:02Do women generally think you're terrific?
12:04Yes, sir.
12:06That's a fast answer.
12:09Piers, what did you think of the interview process?
12:13In terms of the overall interviewing,
12:15I thought it put a very strong mark on me.
12:18But, you know, Jim and Aaron thought you were very harsh, Piers.
12:21In what way?
12:22They just thought you were very, very tough,
12:24very in-your-face, and I'm not saying that's right or wrong.
12:27I'm surprised by that. I mean, I'm just direct.
12:29Maybe the word ruthless is the word that they used.
12:31You've been called ruthless all your career.
12:33I mean, ruthless just means tough in business.
12:35I didn't break any rules.
12:36I don't consider myself as some...
12:38to be unethical or immoral.
12:40It has something to do with it.
12:41To me, we're playing a tough game.
12:43Well, the beneficiary is the charity,
12:45You seem to walk a line, though,
12:47that people aren't comfortable with.
12:49And I don't think you've ever crossed boundaries
12:52and been unethical during this process.
12:54But there's something about the way you deal with situations
12:57that causes people to criticize you.
13:00I've tried to play this game extremely hard
13:02because I believe that is the ethos
13:04that you would encourage us to play.
13:06In the end, I believe the statistical evidence behind me
13:09is pretty overpowering.
13:12If I am to lose because of my lack of British tact
13:16in a game which is led by a man
13:18who is renowned all around the world
13:20for being a ruthless, tough businessman,
13:22then I plead happily guilty to that.
13:29Coming up, find out who will make it to the final two.
13:37So, Carol...
13:38Why should you play this game?
13:40Why should you be chosen to be in the final two, Carol?
13:43I'm organized, I'm detailed, I'm versatile,
13:46I can move on the fly, and I think I got the gumption.
13:49You know your competitors very well.
13:51You've been their teammates, you've been their opponents.
13:53If you were me, who would you fire?
13:58Let's put it this way. I'd keep me and Piers.
14:00And why wouldn't you choose Lennox, who's been a star?
14:03I just think Piers always thinks ahead.
14:05He thinks like I do.
14:06He looks for, you know, problems ahead of time
14:09and the road ahead, and I like that.
14:12Lennox couldn't win without me as often as he does.
14:14And he went near as much. He knows that.
14:16I think he'd agree with that.
14:17Do you agree with that, Lennox?
14:19Yes, I do.
14:21I wouldn't have answered it that way, Lennox.
14:23I would have said, absolutely, who the hell do you think you are?
14:25I'd never admit that.
14:27He's a good asset to the team.
14:30I'm the main asset.
14:31One of the greatest assets.
14:33I've raised more money than everyone else.
14:35Do you think he could win without you?
14:37He's used me many times, and I feel I'm a great asset to him.
14:40If you're asking me to be totally, brutally frank
14:43about the way the 11 challenges went,
14:45I think if Lennox was being honest,
14:47he would say that I was the driving force for most of those challenges.
14:50Is that true, Lennox?
14:52I would say because I was there, he was the driving force,
14:55because when he looked around and realized who was around
14:59that could help him, it was me.
15:02Lennox, you've come across as a really smart guy,
15:06but you just said you would not have won so much
15:10if it weren't for peers.
15:12I, in one way, like that statement,
15:14in another way, you understand, I don't like it.
15:16And the other element that has to play into my mind,
15:19I have great respect for Jim Cramer
15:21and great respect for Aaron Burnett,
15:23and they thought you were too laid back,
15:25and they thought you should be fired,
15:27and I have to say, Lennox, you're fantastic, but you're fired.
15:30I accept that.
15:32And you've done an amazing job.
15:34Thank you, Lennox. Fantastic guy.
15:39Thanks, Lennox.
15:48What's up, man?
15:55The best part of this experience was I earned 40 grand
15:58for the Muhammad Ali Center.
16:00The reason why I joined the Celebrity Apprentice
16:03was to make money for my charity,
16:05and I'm so happy that I was able to do so.
16:08OK, so one more of you is about to be fired.
16:14Trace, move over.
16:20You know, it is very tough for me to fire peers
16:23when he's won so much, we have to say that.
16:26He's probably the least nice person,
16:28but at the same time, in terms of you...
16:30We respect Mr Trump. I take exception to that.
16:32I don't think you should.
16:34People don't know much about me personally.
16:36I don't think you should take exception,
16:38cos I've watched you over a lot of weeks.
16:40Yeah, but people don't know the real me.
16:42When I'm sticking up for you, you shouldn't be cutting me off.
16:45I'm getting ready to exonerate you,
16:47and instead of just sort of taking it...
16:49Take yes for an answer.
16:51I'll take my bollocking like a man.
16:55I am going to ask you a question.
16:58You've known Carol, you've known Trace.
17:01Who would you fire if you were me,
17:03if you can give me a straight answer?
17:05I can. Straight answer.
17:07I would beat Trace with more ease than I would beat Carol.
17:12She would be a tougher competitor,
17:14and I mean no disrespect to Trace, who is a great guy.
17:17Trace, why would I choose you to be in the finals
17:20as opposed to the other two?
17:22Well, I'll give you 100%, I'll give you everything I've got,
17:25I'll bring celebrities, and I'll do it in a spirit
17:28that there is no more noble cause.
17:30I'll fight for my kid,
17:32and I hope that I've played this game straight up with integrity,
17:36and that's the way I wanted to play it,
17:38and that's the way I've played it.
17:41Do you like Piers?
17:43We have been sociable and cordial to one another.
17:46I don't know that we've developed any kind of tight bond at all.
17:49Do you see yourself inviting Piers to Nashville, to the Granville Opera?
17:52Uh, no, sir.
17:54Why not?
17:56I've witnessed the way he's played the game.
17:58He's played tough.
18:00Well, it's been a little more than tough at times.
18:03It's been ruthless and merciless to a point.
18:07Somebody asked me if he'd stab you in the back,
18:09and I said, well, he'd stab you in the forehead, you know.
18:12You'll see him coming.
18:14Piers, how do you respond to that?
18:16I've got no problem with that. I don't dispute any of that.
18:19I would stab him in the forehead rather than the back.
18:21I don't believe in going behind people's backs
18:23and saying that I feel one thing and saying another.
18:25In Trace's case, we're very different characters.
18:28And, you know, he and I haven't always seen eye to eye,
18:30but he's a man of great respect and integrity.
18:35Carol, how do I get over the fact
18:37that I want to see these two guys fight?
18:42I have to tell you this.
18:44This even makes the decision harder for me,
18:47if it could be any harder,
18:49is that Aaron and Jim Cramer
18:52thought that Piers should be fired,
18:54but he was the most effective guy.
18:56They also thought you two were fantastic.
18:58You were both their choices.
19:01But I love the friction between these two guys,
19:05because I say they don't like each other.
19:11Carol, I want to see these two guys go at it.
19:13Carol, you're fired.
19:15You did amazing. You did amazing. You're fired.
19:17I want to see these two guys go at it.
19:19I'm going to see if you get country stars.
19:21I'm going to see if you get stars.
19:23Carol, you are amazing. Get the hell out of here.
19:25And as long as that's the reason I'm going,
19:27I'm okay with that.
19:29You've done really, really well.
19:31Thank you very much. Thank you.
19:48Just to step forward and do this in the first place,
19:50is really a big act of faith.
19:52I accomplished everything I set out to do,
19:55so it made every task along the way a personal triumph.
19:58Firing Carol was not easy,
20:01but I love what I'm looking at.
20:04To me, it's good versus evil.
20:07It's the U.K. against the United States.
20:10Now, tomorrow, we meet.
20:13I'll give you a task.
20:15You'll fight like hell. Somebody will be fired.
20:18Somebody will be chosen the Celebrity Apprentice.
20:21So good luck. See you later.
20:23Thank you, sir.
20:25You're going down, cowboy.
20:27All right. You take your best shot.
20:35It's all over. Nashville's going to be crying by the end of this.
20:38I'm going to hang your British ass out of the cypress tree.
20:49Coming up...
20:51My favourite royal. Always has been.
20:53I went to see Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
20:55We're going to win it. We're going to win it.
20:57Sorry. Everything we do, we have to win. Of course.
21:00Here we go.
21:17Here we go.
21:23Good morning, Piers. Good morning, Chase.
21:25Morning. Morning.
21:27What do you think, Piers, about good versus evil,
21:30and also USA against Britain?
21:33I think I'm not as evil as you think,
21:35and he's definitely not as good.
21:37Well, Donald Trump was deliberately pitching
21:40the 6ft 7inch all-American hero cowboy
21:43against the disgusting, obnoxious evil Brit.
21:46And, of course, all this was music to my competitive ears.
21:50OK, what you're going to be doing is very exciting.
21:54You're going to be holding a really grand charity event.
21:58Now, I think you need some help,
22:00so we've invited four really wonderful celebrities to come back.
22:05Come on out here, please.
22:08Look at this.
22:10We brought back Carol Ault,
22:13Stephen Baldwin,
22:15Mary Lou Henner,
22:17and Lennox Lewis.
22:19All right, now, look, you're each going to choose two celebrities.
22:23We'll decide who has first pick with a coin toss.
22:26Piers, you have tails. Trace, you have heads. Good luck.
22:33It's heads. Trace, you get the first pick. Who is it?
22:41Lennox Lewis.
22:43When I won the toss, I knew where I was going.
22:45I was going to take Piers' security blanket away from him,
22:49and that security blanket is Lennox Lewis.
22:51How can a Brit fight for an American? He don't want to break it.
22:54That's OK. Piers, go ahead.
22:56Right, this is tough.
23:01No, Lord, God, please, God.
23:03Lord, please, Lord, Jesus.
23:05I'm going to choose Stephen Baldwin.
23:09Oh, no!
23:11All right, Lord, what would Jesus do?
23:14It's interesting that you chose Stephen.
23:16The odd thing about Stephen is, even though we clashed all the time,
23:19we actually were very well together.
23:21Well, I was very surprised by the pick. Who are you choosing, Trace?
23:24My girl, Mary Lou Henner.
23:27Piers, your final pick is Carol.
23:30OK, for your final task,
23:32you're going to create a charity event right in this hall,
23:36and it's got to be spectacular.
23:39You'll both have to work together to pull this off,
23:42but will be responsible for different aspects of the event.
23:45Ivanka, what will one finalist have to do?
23:48Well, one of you will handle catering
23:50as well as produce a live charity auction event.
23:53And Don, for the other finalist?
23:55Well, the other finalist will be taking care of the decor
23:57as well as working with the entertainment.
23:59Multi-platinum recording artist, the Backstreet Boys.
24:02You'll be judged on three things.
24:04Tickets sold to the event, money raised during the auction,
24:08and how well you run your part of the event.
24:11We want this event to be really big,
24:14so we'll provide you with some amazing auction items
24:17to get you started.
24:18You'll have to negotiate with each other
24:20to select which items you want.
24:22Plus, you can add some of your own items.
24:25And win or lose, the proceeds will go to your charity.
24:29So find great things to auction
24:31and sell as many tickets as you can.
24:34Everything I see and everything you do
24:37will help me decide who will become
24:40the Celebrity Apprentice.
24:54Hey.
24:55The very first thing that we had to do
24:57was negotiate what part of the task
24:59each person was gonna be responsible for.
25:01I'm making an assumption
25:02that you would feel more comfortable running the show.
25:05You know why?
25:06Because I think at this point, it's for the good of the event.
25:09You are a music guy.
25:11You do shows.
25:12I do charity auctions.
25:14So if you're happy, I'll take the auction and the catering.
25:18You guys take the show.
25:19Right.
25:22We want to keep a list.
25:23If you've got one, I'll write the stuff down.
25:25You know, it's gonna be I pick, you pick, I pick, you pick.
25:28We were given some auction items
25:30that we had to negotiate with the other team, me and Trace.
25:33And I looked through them very closely,
25:35worked out which ones I thought were the most viable for us.
25:38You get to pick first.
25:39OK, I'll take Ivanka Trump.
25:41OK, I'm taking A, the Super Bowl thing.
25:44OK.
25:45What do you take?
25:46The Super Bowl thing.
25:47Super Bowl, brah.
25:48My simple strategy was I was more interested in things
25:51that I thought could be quite appealing
25:53to a wider cross-section of people,
25:55like the shopping trip with Ivanka Trump.
25:57And I was delighted that I was really getting some stuff in
26:00that was really unique.
26:01May the best man win, and I will.
26:03You sure you guys really want to do that?
26:05No, I've got rid of you.
26:06I've never been more certain about anything in my life.
26:09Just make sure you keep him awake, yeah?
26:12Piers is a chihuahua, man.
26:14A chihuahua is one of the tiniest dogs on the planet.
26:18What I used to do was just nudge him occasionally.
26:20They bark loud and they make a lot of noise
26:22and they're a pain in the ass, but they're no real threat.
26:26That's Piers Morgan.
26:33We're going to win by selling our auction stuff
26:36to the highest bidder
26:37and selling the tickets for more than that.
26:40That's the game.
26:41I have a feeling that faces are going to matter
26:44because Trace is going to have every country music star
26:48relationship that he has.
26:50I've warned Piers throughout this whole experience,
26:53it's not just about the money.
26:55And he's looked me dead in my face and said,
26:58Donald Trump is only interested in the success we do
27:02as far as making money.
27:03And I told Piers, I said, I'm willing to bet you,
27:06it would be my guess that you're very wrong about that.
27:14We're going to concentrate on celebrities
27:17and we're going to concentrate on the band and the decor.
27:21I'm not going to raise the kind of money
27:23that Piers is going to raise.
27:25Piers is going to beat me with the money.
27:27I've already conceded that, that's going to happen.
27:30So we're going to concentrate on the other two areas
27:32and if we can take two out of three, we win.
27:35That's all there is to it.
27:37I'm reaching out today to everybody
27:39that I have their phone number
27:41that is in the same business that I'm in.
27:44You want country people to come down to New York?
27:47I'm chartering two jets, my friend.
27:52To fly them up here.
27:53Are you serious?
27:54Yes, I'm serious.
27:55I want to win this thing.
27:56I'm going to beat this bastard.
27:58I'm going to beat him bad.
27:59So if we beat him with celebrities, we win.
28:11We need to get as much celebrities
28:14in the place as possible to win.
28:17Well, the key thing to winning this task
28:19was making sure that we had some good celebrities.
28:22I'd love for you to give me some numbers
28:24of some celebrities I can invite.
28:26At this time, it's difficult to get celebrities
28:28because we're giving them really one day's notice.
28:30Anyone that you can think of
28:31or people that you could have just come to the event,
28:34even if they're just going to bid.
28:35Lennox is going after some celebrities.
28:37Mary Lou Henner's going after a few,
28:39and I've got to get some.
28:41I need cowboy hats.
28:42So I started calling people, man.
28:44You know, I know every country music artist,
28:47and I was able to get a few.
28:49I've got Montgomery Gentry.
28:52I've got Ronnie Millsap.
28:54Dean Sams from Longstar.
28:56I was also trying to get some auction items
28:59to raise money through an auction
29:02to benefit our two charities.
29:04I've got Bob Bobonus sending two Taylor guitars,
29:07and I was going to have any of my celebrities that show up
29:10sign the guitar.
29:11We auction it off, okay?
29:13It was unbelievable.
29:15So you're going to the prop rental place,
29:19so that's all good.
29:20Mary Lou and Lennox headed off down
29:22to go look at stuff from the props house.
29:25I was dealing with the band,
29:27making sure that all that was taken care of.
29:39Me and Mary Lou actually went to the prop house today
29:43to pick out some stuff
29:44so that when people come for the event tomorrow,
29:47the place is looking good and sexy.
29:50Hey, hi.
29:51Hey.
29:52Are you Peter?
29:53That's me.
29:54Nice to meet you, Mary Lou Henner.
29:55How you doing? Lennox here.
29:57Pleasure.
29:58I love planning parties.
29:59I always think in terms of flow,
30:01you know, energy centers, etc., etc.
30:03Do we make them all high, or do we make them all low?
30:06Yeah, we want them high.
30:07I agree.
30:08I think we should have the mixture of high and low,
30:11a few chairs, and then some chairs around.
30:13I want to see the linens.
30:14I just want to see white just for my sake.
30:16Whatever you like.
30:17So that's that.
30:18That's how it'll look.
30:19Good, that looks good. I like that.
30:21Done.
30:22Okay, remember, we're on a timed thing,
30:24so we've got to get to it fast.
30:26I know, I know.
30:27Okay.
30:28So once we come up with something, boom,
30:30we've decided, done.
30:31That's great.
30:32Mary Lou kind of reminds me of, you know, my mother.
30:35She's kind of like a little bit fussy.
30:37You know, she wants to get everything right,
30:39and I had to go in there and say,
30:41okay, this is what we're doing.
30:43That's it, done, move on.
30:44I'm just worried about having a bunch of ugly gold chairs
30:47and silver chairs.
30:48Okay.
30:49I say keep it just like that.
30:51That's tacky.
30:52That's the whole thing.
30:53I feel safer with this.
30:54That's not tacky at all.
30:55All black.
30:56I think that looks great.
30:57Done.
30:58Okay.
30:59Okay.
31:00Done.
31:01Let's go.
31:02Let's go.
31:03All right, this was fun.
31:04Thanks, love.
31:05Okay, thank you so much, Peter.
31:06I'll check in with you tomorrow,
31:07and I think you guys did a great job.
31:08Great, thank you.
31:09Okay, wonderful.
31:10Thanks.
31:14Done.
31:15Okay.
31:22Mark?
31:23Hi, how are you?
31:24Hi, Carol Olt, nice to see you.
31:25Pleasure to meet you, likewise.
31:26Steven Baldwin.
31:27Nice to meet you as well.
31:28Oh, you've already set up some great stuff for us.
31:30Yeah, I'm starting to prepare some hors d'oeuvres for you.
31:32Carol and I went and met the organization
31:34that was providing the food and the drinks,
31:36and we did a little taste testing of the hors d'oeuvres.
31:41Yummy.
31:42Okay, this is the actual hors d'oeuvres
31:44that will be served.
31:45Okay.
31:46May I?
31:47Yes, please.
31:48We have smoked salmon,
31:49and then we have the miso-glazed seared tuna.
31:51Ooh la la.
31:52And then we have patty pan squash
31:54that's filled with the braised short rib ragout.
31:56Oh, my Lord.
31:58Can I just pig out?
32:00Absolutely.
32:01Feel free, we'll, um...
32:05Is that loud?
32:06That's loud.
32:08Steven, he's extremely charming.
32:10He's very cute.
32:12I think I need about 27 of those.
32:14It's catering.
32:15He's a piece of work.
32:29I've got to win the auction.
32:31The auction's a major part of this challenge.
32:33I knew that I had to get creative prizes
32:36with great uniqueness to them
32:38to start off with.
32:41Right, what can I do for you, then, Piers?
32:43Your Majesty.
32:45How are you?
32:46Pleasure to see you.
32:47Come and sit down.
32:48Why don't I get a kiss?
32:49Of course you get a kiss.
32:50Of course you do.
32:51My favourite royal always has been.
32:53Now, you're...
32:57I went to see Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
32:59She was on great sparkling form.
33:01She was very, very beautiful.
33:03She was very, very, very beautiful.
33:05She was very, very, very beautiful.
33:08She was on great sparkling form.
33:10I need your help with something.
33:12I'm running a big charity event tomorrow night.
33:14The great thing about Fergie
33:16is that not only is she great fun
33:18and incredibly enthusiastic,
33:20she loves working for charity.
33:22Well, what we can do, I can do tea.
33:24And then we can also give a Wedgwood tea set.
33:27You're the draw.
33:29I'll go along and chat away.
33:31Fergie offered herself up as a prize,
33:33tea with the Duchess, a royal tea, which is great.
33:36We're going to win it.
33:37We're going to win it. Sorry.
33:39Everything we do, we have to win.
33:40Of course.
33:41I thought, that is a slam dunk.
33:43I really appreciate it.
33:44Not at all.
33:45That one moment may be enough to win the auction.
33:49You owe me.
33:59What else do we need to do?
34:01Should we go through the Backstreet Boys checklist
34:03or anything that you...
34:05Aren't the Backstreet Boys like Backstreet O guys now?
34:10Are they still using boys?
34:15Backstreet gray hairs.
34:17I was a little nervous about the Backstreet Boys list
34:21of everything they wanted in their dressing room.
34:23We also need 12 bottles of assorted local beers,
34:262 bottles of red wine, Cabernet and Merlot,
34:29one hot tea set up with honey and fresh lemon.
34:32Just hold up.
34:33I need to talk to their road manager first.
34:34A lot of times, a road manager will tell you,
34:36man, they don't need all that stuff.
34:38Oh, okay, because it was on my list.
34:39I'm going to talk to their tour manager
34:41when he hits the ground.
34:42He's going to call me,
34:43and I'm going to kind of go over it with him
34:45because I've done this a lot.
34:47And I'm going to say, look,
34:48I'm going to discuss with their tour manager
34:50the stuff that they have on their list,
34:52on their rider, stuff they want in the green room.
34:55And what, if it's too much trouble to find,
34:58can be lived without.
35:01And as an act, it's at that point
35:03that you have to decide,
35:04is this a deal breaker for me?
35:06If I don't have green M&M's in the room,
35:08am I not going to go on stage?
35:11Hello.
35:12Hello, is this Fitzjoy?
35:14Fitzjoy.
35:15This is Trace Adkins.
35:18Hello.
35:19What's your name?
35:20My name is Trace Adkins.
35:22I am your liaison.
35:25My name is Trace Adkins,
35:28A-D-K-I-N-S.
35:30What's your function?
35:32Trace was getting a little frustrated
35:34because, you know, it's a big event for him.
35:36He doesn't need to be running around
35:37looking after all the different things
35:39that maybe a boy band wants.
35:43In the morning at 10 a.m.
35:45Bye.
35:47So a lot of these questions here about them,
35:50I'll have answered in the morning
35:52when I meet with them at 10 o'clock.
35:55I'm not really comforted by the way
35:57the dude sounded on the phone.
36:00Oh, God.
36:12Hi, I'm Piers.
36:13Piers, very nice to meet you.
36:14How are you?
36:15Good to see you.
36:16Lisa came down from
36:17Intrepid Foreign Heroes Fund,
36:18their representative,
36:19and we had a great meeting.
36:21I've had another idea.
36:22Okay.
36:23Why don't we give 20 tickets
36:25to wounded veterans?
36:27Oh, okay.
36:28I think it would be really powerful
36:29to have all the guys there
36:31as our invited guests.
36:32Okay.
36:33Now, I'm aware by doing this,
36:34I'm giving up tickets I could have sold,
36:36but I actually think that Mr. Trump
36:38will find that perhaps
36:39is in the spirit of the game.
36:41A mixture of old and young
36:42and probably two-thirds young.
36:45I thought that would add
36:46a really nice touch to the event.
36:48They'd see the uniform,
36:49they'd think about our heroic soldiers,
36:52and it might encourage them
36:53to bid higher sums of money.
36:55Nice to meet you.
36:56Pleasure to meet you.
36:57Take care.
36:58If I win, you get more money.
36:59Exactly.
37:00That's what we like, right?
37:01Okay, exactly.
37:02Take care. Thank you.
37:03Just for the record,
37:04you don't care how mean I am, do you?
37:05No.
37:06The meaner, the better, right?
37:07You go get them here.
37:17Hey.
37:19Hey.
37:20Hi, Trace.
37:21How's it going?
37:22How you doing, Mike?
37:23Trace, hey.
37:24How are you?
37:25Nice to meet you, Nick.
37:26Hey, how are you doing?
37:27I'm going to go have a meeting
37:28with the Backstreet Boys to let them know
37:30I'm going to be the guy today taking care of you,
37:34whatever your needs may be.
37:37I'm going to fulfill this rider, whatever.
37:39I got to tell you straight up front, though,
37:42on your rider,
37:43it talks about two different dressing rooms.
37:45This is not a big venue.
37:47We've got one room backstage.
37:52So since we only have the one room,
37:55some of the stuff on this rider is redundant.
37:58You know what I'm saying?
37:59You've got stock for two rooms here, so.
38:04If you want two of everything,
38:06you got two of everything.
38:07Well, if we're going to have our band in there with us,
38:09then we might as well leave it that way.
38:11We'll leave it that way, then.
38:12All right.
38:13I knew then I was dealing with a group of kids
38:15that were going to just bust my balls all day.
38:19Can I ask you, wheatgrass,
38:20is there any way you can get that?
38:22Excuse me?
38:23Wheatgrass?
38:24Wheatgrass?
38:25Yeah.
38:26Like to eat?
38:27What you do is you squeeze it,
38:29and you get the juice out of it,
38:30and you drink it.
38:31It's, like, really good for your body.
38:33It looks like a sod of turf.
38:35What?
38:36Are you punking me, man?
38:38Is this a joke? Really?
38:41I've never heard of it, man.
38:43I mean, I could maybe.
38:44I don't know, maybe.
38:45It gives you energy right before you go on stage.
38:48I'm happy for you, brother.
38:49I'm glad you found something that works for you.
38:53If you could leave the waters out and have...
38:55So they're room temperature?
38:56Yeah, room temperature.
38:57You know, I think even, like, some tea would be great.
39:00Talking to the Backstreet Boys
39:02is time out of my life that I'll never get back.
39:06Talking about wheatgrass juice.
39:14I've already established
39:15that you have about as much fundraising ability
39:17inside you as an armadillo,
39:19so I'm relying on you for faces.
39:23I'm pulling out all the guns here.
39:25While I gave the charity 20 tickets,
39:27it was down to Stephen to deliver on the celebrity count.
39:30Stephen had promised me a lot of celebrities.
39:33You tell Gandolfini that it's me too.
39:37Where's Lindsay?
39:41Ben Stiller's not available.
39:43The thing about Stephen is he's full of life all the time.
39:46He's a great character.
39:49But his biggest flaw is, in terms of celebrity-getting,
39:52he just, unfortunately, is fairly useless.
39:55Okay, it sounds like it's a little too complicated.
39:58Bye.
39:59Now, I believe in delegation.
40:01You have to believe these people can deliver
40:04on what they say they can do.
40:06Hello.
40:07Hello.
40:09You're late.
40:10Yee-hoo!
40:12Oh, boy.
40:14Look, look, the bottom line is,
40:16are there any celebs you think you could get down here realistically?
40:20I looked.
40:22It was a bit depressing, to be honest.
40:24I thought if Trace turns up with a cartload of country music superstars
40:28and Lennox brings in all the big five boys,
40:30then we might have a bit of a problem.
40:33Where's Stephen?
40:35I don't know.
40:37This is what he does, unfortunately.
40:41Well, yes, I was responsible for getting as many celebrities there,
40:45but realistically, such short notice, nobody was available.
40:48So if Pierce gets fired because no celebrities showed up,
40:53sorry.
40:58Next week, the final showdown continues
41:01and Trace is tested by the band.
41:03Black nail polish.
41:05One of them forgot to bring his fingernail polish.
41:09While Pierce lays down his plan of attack.
41:12General strategy tonight is to get them as loaded as fast as possible.
41:15All right?
41:16Loaded celebrities means lots of money.
41:18Thank you very much.
