00:00Hello, good afternoon. Well, there'll still be plenty of sunshine to end the weekend.

00:04A bit cloudier in the north though with some rain and drizzle and turning a little bit

00:08windier here too. Now, taking a look at the bigger picture, we've still got high pressure

00:12dominating much of the weather across the UK. But notice this frontal system moving

00:16into the northwest and a slight squeeze in the isobars too. So turning cloudier, more

00:21damp and a little bit breezier across Scotland. For this afternoon though, there'll be plenty

00:25of dry, fine weather across much of the country. Some quite unbroken sunshine at times across

00:30central and southern UK. A different story in the north though, more in the way of cloud

00:34and some rain and drizzle moving into the northwest, which could be a little bit heavy

00:38at times across western hills. But where you do catch the sunshine today, it'll be feeling

00:43warm, warmer than yesterday in fact. But temperatures struggling in the north under that cloud and

00:47quite a brisk breeze today as well, which will take the edge off the temperatures too.

00:51Now, through the course of the evening, we will start to see some late evening sunny

00:55spells but more and more cloud is going to feed in from the north. Still with some spells

00:59of rain and drizzle in the northwest. Staying the clearest for the longest in the far south

01:04where it'll be a little bit cooler in those rural spots. But for most towns and cities,

01:08a mild night on offer and most places not really dropping below double digits.

01:13So down in the south then, a brighter start but generally clouding over through the course

01:18of the day and quite a cloudy picture for most. Although into the afternoon, we will

01:22start to see some sunshine break through the cloud, particularly across Scotland where

01:26we'll see plenty of sunshine. But once again, that brisk breeze will take the edge off those

01:30temperatures a little bit. But where you catch any sheltered sunnier spots, it will still

01:34be feeling pleasant and warm. Now into the evening, still plenty of cloud

01:40across most of the country, which means another mild night on offer. But turning cooler across

01:45Scotland with those clearest spells and plenty of showers feeding into the northern isles
