00:00Hello, good afternoon. Well, after a taste of summer to end the week, things are turning
00:04more unsettled from the west, though it is introducing a fresher feel to our weather
00:09as well. And the reason for this is that we have an area of low pressure drifting in from
00:13the Atlantic and moving into western parts of the country. So this means quite a damp
00:18start across the west for many of us and some quite heavy downpours along this area of rain,
00:24particularly across Devon and Cornwall and parts of Wales. So do take care if you're
00:28out and about as there's likely to be some spray on the roads and some areas of standing
00:32water. To the far east, though, plenty of hazy, sunny spells, though we might start
00:37to see some showers break through that cloud across East Anglia. These could turn heavy,
00:42perhaps even thundery by the time we reach the afternoon. And it's across East Anglia
00:47where we hold on to those hotter temperatures as well that we saw in the week. Highs of
00:5229 here, some slightly lower temperatures elsewhere, though it is still going to be
00:55feeling quite muggy under that cloud and under that rain. Into the evening, then we
01:02will start to see a few still of these heavier downpours of rain, though it is generally
01:06fizzling out through the course of the evening, which means a largely dry night towards dawn.
01:11It's still a fair amount of cloud around, a few drips and drabs of rain and drizzle
01:15across central and southern parts of the UK, but clearing up across Scotland and across
01:20Northern Ireland, just with a few showers feeding into the west. But where you see those
01:24clearest skies, that is where it's going to be feeling cooler, a little bit fresher,
01:28but under those cloudier skies, another sultry night to come. Through for the second part
01:34of the weekend, then that rain will clear the far northeast and it will generally brighten
01:39up after a cloudy start and a largely dry day. Plenty of sunny spells around, few showers
01:44feeding in still across western parts of Scotland and quite a wet afternoon on offer across
01:49Northern Ireland as we introduce the next area of rain from the west. Now, temperatures
01:54as you can see, a little bit down compared to today, particularly across the far southeast.
01:58However, where you catch the sunshine, it will still be feeling pleasant and warm. Quite
02:03changeable week ahead, so don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never
02:07miss an update. Bye for now.
