00:00Hello, good evening. Well we've seen plenty of dry weather in the east and some sunny

00:04spells too. Different story in the west though, plenty of rain here which has led to quite

00:09a damp start to the weekend. Taking a look at the latest radar we can see we've got some

00:13heavy downpours moving into Wales and parts of the south west too. So do take care if

00:18you are travelling this evening. That rain will continue to push its way east and north

00:23eastwards and we still could see some heavy downpours as it does so, particularly in the

00:27north east of England later on in the night. But elsewhere it is turning largely dry, still

00:32a fair amount of cloud around and a few drips and drabs of rain and drizzle. And turning

00:36clearer across Scotland and Northern Ireland just with a few showers feeding into western

00:41areas. And under those clearer skies that's where it's going to be feeling cooler and

00:45a little bit fresher. But once again under those cloudier skies that's where it's going

00:49to be another muggy night ahead. So a mild start across central and southern areas and

00:55fairly cloudy too, still with some rain and drizzle on the cards. But this generally turning

00:59drier and that cloud breaking up through the course of the morning allowing some sunny

01:03spells to develop. And on the whole Sunday should be largely dry, still with those showers

01:07feeding into the western coast of Scotland. Different story in Northern Ireland though

01:12as the next area of rain moves in, so quite a wet afternoon on offer here. Now temperatures

01:17aren't going to be as high as they were last week, however where you do catch the sunshine

01:22it will still be feeling pleasant and warm. Highs of around 23 or 24 in the south east.

01:29As we head into next week is a fairly changeable pattern. Moving into Monday we do have an

01:33area of low pressure pushing eastwards across the country once again, which means there

01:37is some more rain on offer as we head to the beginning of the working week. So for Sunday

01:42plenty of cloud around, some rain and drizzle moving into the north east of the country.

01:48Generally turning showery as the afternoon goes on, but these showers could be quite

01:52heavy if not quite slow moving across Scotland, so you might see some more persistent downpours

01:56here. But elsewhere largely dry, even seeing some sunshine break through that cloud across

02:01the south and south east. And once again where you catch the sunshine it will still be feeling
