00:00Hi there. Cool and cloudy for many parts of the UK during the rest of Tuesday, but there
00:05will be some sunny spells, particularly for western parts of the UK. So, for the Western
00:11Isles for example, Pembrokeshire, Cornwall, favoured western coasts most likely to see
00:17some spells of sunshine. Out of the breeze as well, feeling pleasant enough with the
00:21sun increasingly strong at this time of year. Elsewhere, a lot of cloud cover and that cloud
00:26bringing showers to many areas, but most likely central and eastern parts of England. We've
00:33still got a cool breeze coming in from the north, that's going to suppress temperatures
00:37to 10 Celsius for Orkney, 12 Celsius there for coastal parts of north-east England, 15-16
00:44inland and where we do get some sunny spells in the south-west, always the possibility
00:49of a 17 or 18 degrees. However, in the wind, that wind coming from the Arctic, it is going
00:56to feel once again on the cool side. Through the evening, the showers mostly become confined
01:01to coastal parts of eastern England, perhaps one or two for Cornwall and west Wales. Otherwise,
01:08it's drier with clear spells developing, particularly for western and central Scotland, parts of
01:12Wales and the south-west. Some cloud remains through central and eastern parts of the UK,
01:18where we've got the cloud remaining overnight, 9 or 10 Celsius, where we've got the clear
01:22spells 8 or 9 Celsius widely, but as low as 3 or 4 Celsius in sheltered spots. So again,
01:30a chill in the air first thing Wednesday, but with winds easing through the day and
01:35many places turning drier as this high pressure moves in, it's not going to be too unpleasant.
01:41That is ahead of Thursday when these weather fronts move in from the west, bringing a change
01:46to wetter, but also less cool weather. Now, for Wednesday morning, we've got plenty of
01:53blue skies out there, particularly through central and western Scotland, western England
01:57and Wales. Cloud once again will start to develop and that cloud will give a scattering
02:03of showers, most especially for eastern parts of England, many other places drier than previous
02:08days and possibly sunnier as well compared with Tuesday with lighter winds. It's going
02:16to feel much more pleasant, I suspect. 17 or 18 Celsius, still low average for the time
02:20of year, but in the sun, not too bad at all. Now, this is the rain that's moving in for
02:27Thursday and that's going to slowly cross the country from west to east. But before
02:33that happens, Wednesday night's another chilly one with widespread clear skies and temperatures
02:39falling away in sheltered spots. And then on Thursday, the rain moves in and we'll see
02:44a return to more showery weather once again as we end the week. Bye bye.
