00:00Hello, welcome to your National Evening Weather Update from the Met Office. A fine evening
00:05to come for many of us, but we'll see the return of low cloud, especially across eastern
00:09parts. So, through the rest of the end of the weekend, we should see plenty of lengthy
00:14sunshine to end the day, but any showers should generally ease, then we'll see the return
00:18of low cloud once again from the North Sea, pushing its way further inland. Many places
00:25further towards the west though, seeing plenty of clear skies, and across Northern Ireland
00:29we will see some mist and fog patches developing here as well, a bit breezier as well across
00:35eastern coasts too. But otherwise it is going to be another similar night with temperatures
00:40around 10 or 11 degrees, but underneath the clear skies further towards the west, it could
00:45turn a little bit chilly with temperatures down into the single figures. So this leaves
00:50a bit of a contrast to Monday morning, plenty of bright weather to start the day across
00:55the west, any low cloud, mist and fog should gradually start burning its way back to the
01:00coast and lifting and breaking. Perhaps a little bit slower than recent days, but with
01:05cloud just lingering across some parts in the north. Plenty of sunshine now developing
01:10across parts of Scotland and down that eastern coast as well, but we will still see a few
01:15showers breaking out. The heaviest are going to be across parts of western Northern Ireland,
01:20here perhaps even containing the odd rumble of thunder, but perhaps even across parts
01:24of Northern Wales and the odd one across Scotland too. But for many it is a dry day on Monday
01:32with plenty of sunshine on offer, feeling warm in that sunshine once again, especially
01:37across parts of Scotland where you've held on to some cloud. But otherwise temperatures
01:42up to 22, possibly 23 degrees, perhaps not as warm as what we've seen today. As we go
01:50through the rest of Monday evening, any showers should gradually fade away for a time. Then
01:55we'll see clear spells developing, but once again we'll start to see some low cloud come
02:00in through into Tuesday morning and there will be a few showers around, but plenty of
02:05clear skies once again. And here it could turn chilly with temperatures dropping down
02:10into the single figures, especially for parts of Scotland. Elsewhere in the towns and cities
02:15holding up at around 10 or 11 degrees. So a bit of a mixed picture as we go through
02:21Tuesday, we'll see some low cloud that will gradually slowly start to lift and break at
02:26times to reveal some sunny spells. We will see some showers breaking out, especially
02:30across western areas through the afternoon. Again, some of these could be on the heavy
02:34side. Plenty of sunshine across parts of Scotland, but there will still be some low cloud around,
02:40so just watch out for that. But there should be some sunny spells in between, but otherwise
02:44temperatures really around average, but hopefully feeling pleasant where you do catch some sunshine.
02:51As we go through the rest of the week, then we've got low pressure out towards the east
02:56and through Wednesday. This is going to gradually push its way north and eastwards, affecting
03:00many eastern areas, bringing some patchy outbreaks of rain or even heavy at times and with some
03:06stronger winds as well. So that's one to watch for. We've still got a bit of uncertainty
03:11on the exact position of that, so if you want to keep for more details on that though,
03:16make sure to hit subscribe on YouTube so you don't miss an update. I'll catch you soon. Bye bye.
