Transcript
00:00Hello. So a cold and frosty start for summer on Monday, so winter is certainly showing
00:04its hand, but turning milder from the north. We're currently stuck under a cold northerly,
00:11but the wind has changed direction across Scotland as milder air starts to dig in, and
00:16that change will spread right the way across the country Monday and Tuesday. So further
00:20outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will quickly clear south this evening, leaving behind clearing
00:25skies and a widespread frost. Temperatures dropping widely below zero, probably one
00:30of the coldest nights of the autumn so far. Cold, icy, frosty start tomorrow morning,
00:37and clouds starting to increase across parts of Scotland as that milder air starts to actually
00:42dig in, though remaining largely bright and dry across many parts of England and Wales.
00:47Another cold day across England and Wales, with temperatures only to mid-single figures,
00:52although that milder air arriving in the north and west during the day. And that transition
00:56continues Monday evening, as clouds start to spread more bodily across England and Wales
01:02with outbreaks of rain further north. So that cold air is likely to give way to milder conditions
01:08by mid-week, although the cold weather returning later in the week with a threat of snow. Thank
01:13you for listening, and please check our website for the latest updates. Bye for now.
