00:00:00Is up. Hi guys, how is everyone doing? Happy Tuesday. We're a day late because of travel,
00:00:12but we're here. We're going to get into some of the other way chats and mama's boy chat,
00:00:19which we're good. I was informed tonight is the debate. So I don't know if a lot of people
00:00:24want to talk or want to listen to me talk or want to hear the debate. So I don't know
00:00:28how we're going to do viewer wise. Hello, car is here.
00:00:37Tonight was also the debate. So I definitely don't want to, you know, pull people away
00:00:43from that important situation there. Hey, Gina. Hey, Dedefa speaks. Hi. Hi. How are
00:00:50you? I'm good. I'm good. How are you? How was your day? It was a long day. How about
00:00:58you? Same. It was long, but it's fine. I can't complain. There's enough. It's enough
00:01:04craziness that I shouldn't be complaining, right?
00:01:09So I want to talk about this other way episode. Statler and Dempsey were back and there was
00:01:16some marriage talk, which I wasn't really expecting because, you know, they basically
00:01:22broke up on the boat, on the ferry. So I didn't think that they were anywhere near
00:01:28a point of commitment. But they seemed to move on very fast from their fight. And they
00:01:34were talking, well, Statler was more taken back like I was. She was like, oh, you think
00:01:40we should be engaged? Or you think we should get married? And I was like, no, no, she shouldn't
00:01:45think that. But you know, Dempsey's like, I'm moving towards that direction. I'm beginning
00:01:49to question Dempsey a little more now. I don't know what her intentions are. Are you
00:01:54getting like a raised eyebrow with her now? I'm a little on the fence, but she was so
00:02:02easy to forgive Statler. Like, I'd have pushed Statler overboard a long time ago.
00:02:08Well, I will say this. Statler was very clear with like, I need space. I need time. I don't
00:02:15want to have this conversation right now. And I think that, you know, sometimes when
00:02:19you're having an emotional impact or something going on in your life, I don't want to say
00:02:23she was having a panic attack, because I don't think she was. But I know that she was going
00:02:27through some emotional stuff and the fear of being on a boat, because I also have fear
00:02:30of large bodies of water. I don't think that that was the best time to have a serious conversation.
00:02:37But I do think that Statler feels that she can talk to people crazy when she's annoyed.
00:02:44That is also an issue. But I don't think that Statler was to the point where she's
00:02:50like, you're just rude to me. You were rude. And I was like, well, she asked you to stop
00:02:54and you persisted. And I feel like the rudeness came when you kept persisting, you know?
00:02:59I mean, I'm so on the fence about this. I'm so on the fence because I can't stand Statler.
00:03:09But watching her fake panic attack is what is getting me. Like, you use that as an excuse
00:03:19to just be a jerk, plain and simple.
00:03:21Well, yeah, you know what, this is funny, because we were talking about this yesterday,
00:03:26not yesterday, the day before, with Brian from Before the 90 Days, they use things about
00:03:32themselves as an excuse to be a jerk. You're 100% right. And I think that Statler uses
00:03:38her anxiety, her social anxiety and her mild, what is it, being on the spectrum, as a reason
00:03:46or as an excuse. It's like a get out of jail free card, right? Like when you do something
00:03:51really bad, you're like, oh, I'm gonna pull my get out of jail free card because, you
00:03:54know, I have bad anxiety or I have this issue. And I don't think that it's fair to use that
00:04:00excuse. I mean, you can use it every now and then, but it's not, it shouldn't be your go
00:04:04to. And I think Brian is specifically on Before the 90 Days, everything is okay, because
00:04:10he's a quadriplegic. And I was like, well, no, no, it's not okay. You can't just treat
00:04:14people and lie to people and do whatever you want and say whatever you want. And then when
00:04:18they get offended, you're like, well, I feel like you're judging me. You shouldn't judge
00:04:21me because I'm quadriplegic. No, she should judge you because you're a liar, right?
00:04:25Absolutely. Absolutely. But the way Dempsey got over all this shit, almost instantly.
00:04:31Also, who drives through a tunnel with her sunglasses on? Come on.
00:04:37I don't know. Okay, so I wear my sunglasses, like in the airport and on the airplane and
00:04:42stuff, because I don't like to like, talk to random people. But like, yeah, at nighttime,
00:04:47no, you are in a tunnel. That's crazy, right? That's completely crazy.
00:04:50Well, I mean, yeah, it's one thing if you're like trying to disguise yourself or just go a
00:04:54little incognito or whatever. Nobody can see you in the freaking tunnel.
00:04:58Well, but also, can you also see though?
00:05:01Yeah, exactly.
00:05:03That's, I don't, it's crazy. And it's the idea that they were so ready to forgive each
00:05:08other and move on after that fight. I felt like that fight was pretty drastic. Like, I felt
00:05:12like they were screaming at each other, calling each other names. And you know, Statler
00:05:16basically told her to get the hell away from me. You know, like, that's pretty drastic. So
00:05:20less than 24 hours later, right? I feel like that's crazy to me that they were already
00:05:27over it and ready to talk about getting married. Even though Statler said like, within the
00:05:32next year. Yeah, I still think that's, that's crazy to me.
00:05:36Yeah, absolutely. Well, and then Dempsey was like, or Statler says, or three or five or
00:05:4210.
00:05:44I mean, I don't think they should get married. I barely feel like they like each other. I
00:05:49feel like they don't get along and I feel like they clash. So I don't even feel like they
00:05:54should be friends. I just don't know why.
00:05:57Like, my other question is, I'm not very familiar with visas and everything and how they
00:06:03actually work. But so how many times, how many different places can you travel before you
00:06:13have to bring your ass back home?
00:06:16Well, I know that certain visas, you have like six months, but then there's multi entry
00:06:24visas, where you can go to multiple places in that allotted time. I know it varies 30
00:06:31days, 90 days, and then the most is six months. And I don't know, I'm not like versed in
00:06:37the subject, but I know that the multiple entry visa, you can go to like the UK, you
00:06:42can go to Mexico, you can go to like, there's like a bunch of countries on that list that
00:06:47you're allowed to visit.
00:06:49So my question is, now that she just up and moved out of America, what happens when that
00:06:56six months is up?
00:06:58Well, I think the way it works, you have to go back home for at least 30 days. And then
00:07:05you can go back. If I'm not mistaken, it works that way. And it like restarts. So I
00:07:11think, like, if you stay the six months, you have to go back to your home country. And
00:07:17hey, Taryn, you have to go back to your home country. And then you stay a certain amount
00:07:21of time. And then you can like, I don't think it's renewed, but like you can get another
00:07:25multiple entry visa and kind of start over. But those don't work as well as getting a
00:07:32visa to the country that you want to live in. Because if you want to work, if you want
00:07:35to file taxes, if you want to do certain things, it's easier if you actually have a visa to
00:07:41that actual country. Because I think it's weird when people pack up and they move to
00:07:45a country, like Corona, for instance, she moved to another country. She's trying to
00:07:49enroll in school, she wants to do all these things. But she's not thinking about getting
00:07:55married. Because I was like, yeah, you can go there and enroll in school. That's not
00:07:59the same as going there and getting a job. Hey, Riley.
00:08:03Hi, Riley.
00:08:05It's just, I don't know, I'm beginning to wonder what Dempsey's endgame is. What does
00:08:10she want from this? And if that's true or not, what I believe is true, I think that
00:08:15she wants someone to fund her dream of driving across the countries. I think that she
00:08:24wanted to do it. She didn't have the funds to do it. And she found her a sucker. And I
00:08:30think that that's definitely, that's where we are. And it's funny, because I don't want
00:08:35to like think that Statler was right, because we know Statler went off right before the
00:08:38season started and told us everything. And I was like, well, you know what, I want to
00:08:42hear both sides of it. I don't want to just take Statler's word as being what really
00:08:47happened. I want to hear both sides. But I am starting to see things that are making me
00:08:51raise my eyebrow.
00:08:52I don't know. The first season, I liked them both. I liked them both equally. I thought
00:08:58they were, they were both, I thought they were such a great couple. But then, in between
00:09:03seasons, Statler kind of went off the deep end, very publicly. And it made it really
00:09:10hard not to form an opinion about her coming into this season. So now that this season's
00:09:15going, I'm literally seeing all the same bat shit, crazy stuff I saw, like on the
00:09:22internet regularly.
00:09:24Yeah, she also complained heavily about the way that she was portrayed on the first
00:09:29season. So her coming back for a second season seemed really strange. And I know that
00:09:34they sometimes film, we learned this together, they film things simultaneously. So she
00:09:39could have been filming her other season, and then they were filming the other way
00:09:43literally within a month or two of each other. So maybe she hadn't seen how they
00:09:47portrayed her yet. Like she had just finished filming the first season, it hadn't aired
00:09:52yet. And then she agreed to film another season, because I was like, if they portrayed
00:09:55you really bad, and you hate the way you looked, what will possess you to do it again?
00:09:59Yeah, exactly.
00:09:59Right? So I was like, it had to have been she hadn't seen the episodes, because you
00:10:04know what's crazy? Do you know how a lot of these TV shows, they will call you into
00:10:09the studio or whatever, and they will screen your episodes? You know, Sharp doesn't
00:10:14do that. The cast members see the show the same time we do. I was talking to some
00:10:20people who filmed different TV shows, and they were like, well, yeah, we screened them
00:10:25ahead of time. So they know what
00:10:28Pillow Talk is a little different.
00:10:30Yeah, that's a little different. You're right. That's a little different. But I think
00:10:33it's interesting that they don't show the cast members the finished product before it
00:10:38hits the air because a lot of these TV shows and movies too, you get to screen it before
00:10:43the public. And I think that they do this on purpose, maybe to keep the cast members
00:10:49from rebelling before the season starts. Because I would be really upset, right? I
00:10:54would be. If I was on the show, and they made me look like a horrible person, and I
00:10:58look like I'm a scammer or a liar or a cheater, and I'm not, I would be pissed off,
00:11:02right? I really would. Because if they cut and pasted my scenes to make it look like
00:11:08I was stealing or doing whatever, I would be really mad. But I just think it's
00:11:11interesting because they're literally watching the show as we watch it. And they're
00:11:15all pissed off. And I'm like, see, I would love for them to let them screen it first.
00:11:21But I guess once it's done, it's done. They're not going to change it. So letting
00:11:24them screen it is just giving them a window of opportunity to ruin the show, right?
00:11:29They're just gonna go online and be pissed.
00:11:31But the only reason they're giving them that opportunity is because everybody's
00:11:35breaking their NDAs anyway. So they're like saving money because we're still gonna
00:11:40air it. So if you don't want to be paid for it, then cool.
00:11:45So she kind of moved back into Sarper's apartment, right? And he said that he had
00:11:52scheduled a therapy appointment, which he did not. He lied to her face. And you know,
00:11:58she's like, Oh, we have this issue. Now you're a liar. And this is this. And I was
00:12:01like, she kind of is really good at pretending that things bother her. And then like the
00:12:05very next scene, they're like doing a photo shoot, and she's licking him. You know,
00:12:10and it's like you, I don't know, there's like people who pretend that they're
00:12:14bothered by someone's behavior, but then do absolutely nothing about it. You know,
00:12:18and one therapy session is not going to solve anything. But I feel like Sarper is
00:12:22like, Oh, well, in Turkey, therapy is frowned upon. And I was like, so just because
00:12:30your country hates something, does that mean that you shouldn't do it?
00:12:35Yeah, exactly. I don't know the way he made the comment that men in my country,
00:12:42it's seen as weak or whatever. In your country, does everybody go get drunk with a
00:12:49woman and save their bottles? Does everybody keep a tally? Yeah. And with like,
00:12:54you're so far out on left field, that you seriously, you're not in touch with reality
00:13:00at all. You don't even, therapy would be the best thing he ever did.
00:13:05Well, another thing, like, have you ever heard anyone in our country say, Oh, no one
00:13:10in America does that. I think that's such a broad statement. Turkey is a pretty
00:13:15populous country, right? There's a lot of people, there are lots of different
00:13:18religions, lots of different ways of life. So I think it's really crazy to me that the
00:13:23entire country has taken a stand against therapy, right? They're like, Oh, well, you
00:13:29just don't do that. Because in America, you know, there are people, certain cultures,
00:13:33right? Like I know, certain cultural backgrounds, they don't believe in
00:13:37therapy, right? Like, there's certain nationalities of people, they don't, and
00:13:40they also, some people don't believe in psychics. There's people that choose, but
00:13:45not an entire country of people. Like, so when he says things like that, I'm like,
00:13:50well, you can't really speak for everybody, because you're just one guy. And if, if,
00:13:54like you said, if it's true, you've had sex with 2500 people, you're not a typical
00:13:58person. Right? So that the actions of you do definitely don't speak for the actions
00:14:03of the other people that live normal lives in Turkey, right?
00:14:07Ask any man there, is it okay to rip your girlfriend's phone out of her hand and her
00:14:12hair out of her head? See how many of them say yes.
00:14:15Right? No one, exactly. Like, it's crazy to me. And then tonight, not tonight, yesterday,
00:14:22he pissed me off again, because he was like, you're possessive. And I think what really
00:14:26irritates me about him is he's always shifting blame for his behavior on her. And it's like
00:14:34such a narcissistic move, because he's like, oh, well, you know, you're jealous, and you're
00:14:38possessive. And I was like, she's jealous and possessive, because you've never been
00:14:42faithful to anyone, by your own admission. You told her when y'all got together that
00:14:48you've cheated on every single woman, or if you were, well, basically, you've never been
00:14:52in a relationship, in any relationship that you thought you were in, you cheated on her.
00:14:56Right. So how is she ever, because he's like, oh, you should trust me, even if you find
00:15:00a live woman in a closet in my house, you should trust me. And I was like, see, statements
00:15:05like that would make me feel like you can't be trusted. Right? Like,
00:15:09Like that make me feel like you should be with Tiger Lily, and you're gonna make a suit
00:15:12out of her.
00:15:13Yeah, like, he really, I don't know, like, some people really get under my skin, this
00:15:20guy, he just gets under my skin. And it's Shekinah, too, because Shekinah, she condones
00:15:25and she allows his behavior to take place. Hey, Austin. And I think that's what gets
00:15:31to me is because, and then she pretends to be bothered by it. And I was like, don't pretend
00:15:37like you're gonna not move back in, or don't pretend you're not going to be with him. You
00:15:40don't care. You can find him with another woman, you get over it. Y'all would still
00:15:44be together.
00:15:45Riley said, has anybody considered that he might have a sex addiction? I did consider
00:15:51that in the beginning. And then I realized what a fake lying piece of shit this guy
00:15:56is. And I thought, he's just making shit up as he goes.
00:15:59Well, no, I think he's probably a liar. And he has a sex addiction. I do. No, I believe
00:16:05that anyone who says, I don't think he's really had sex with 2000 people. But anyone who thinks
00:16:11that they might have if the number is over three or four or 500, they definitely are
00:16:16addicted to sex. And they have an emotional, like, block on building relationships. And
00:16:24they have a social issue too, because I don't feel like it's possible for you to have meaningless
00:16:30sex with that many different people. And it's not affect you emotionally. Right? Because
00:16:36I hate to say this, but sex is something that it can affect you emotionally. And it's not
00:16:41just playing basketball or shaving or cutting your hair. It's not just an act, right? It's
00:16:49a connection with another person. And if you can do that coldly and deadly, like having
00:16:55no connection with that other human being, there's something wrong, right?
00:16:59Absolutely. But also, I'm sorry, but this story went off the rails when we found out
00:17:07he had a kid that he can't find. So, you know, if you have one kid out of 2500 women
00:17:17that you can't find, and there's only one, again, you're full of shit.
00:17:22Well, yeah, I feel like having, or he's sterile, you know, but yeah, there has to be more than
00:17:31one. Or if there's any.
00:17:33And he's sterile after all the surgeries and stuff. I don't know.
00:17:36I don't know how much of what we can believe that comes out of his mouth either. Because
00:17:41when he looks Shekinah in the face and lied to her face, I was like, so now I don't really
00:17:46know what I can take as fact and what's fiction. Because he lies for fun. Because that's what
00:17:52Shekinah was saying. She's like, that's not even something that you should lie about.
00:17:56It's not serious enough. That's just a stupid, miniscule thing that you could tell the truth.
00:18:01He lies for fun. And when people lie recreationally, you really have to wonder, well, what is true
00:18:08about this person? What is actually going through their mind? When you ask them a simple question,
00:18:13like, what did you eat today? And they have to lie to you. It means that lying is more of a hobby
00:18:19to them than anything. It's not that they're trying to hide anything. She wasn't going to
00:18:23break up with him if he said no. He didn't plan the next therapy appointment. So that's another
00:18:29thing that I wonder, I think he's a compulsive liar. Because a lot of his storyline, 2,500 women,
00:18:35I would like to talk to the Guinness Book of World Records, like I don't believe it.
00:18:39And all of the things that he says, it's just, I don't know if he actually knows how to tell the
00:18:44truth. But also, I just want to say when you go and you look at his Instagram post, or her Instagram
00:18:51post, or their TikToks, any social media, there is not a single woman on there that is like,
00:18:58he is so fine. He's so hot. He's this, you're a lucky lady. Everybody's like,
00:19:03pack your shit and run, girl. Nobody is attracted to this man. Nobody thinks he's just this godsend.
00:19:12But if you go on to like normal people's Instagrams, you get a mixture of both. You get
00:19:18love and hate. People that hate are jealous, because this person's getting a lot of attention.
00:19:24But then, like, okay, I'm trying to think of somebody that's good from,
00:19:28okay, well, we'll use Jamal. Jamal has every single post. He's got people that are, you know,
00:19:36haters. But then he's got people that are like, you're so handsome. You're the best looking.
00:19:41Riley. Riley's got the same thing. Women don't like him, but then women want to be with him.
00:19:47If they're a good human, people are attracted to that.
00:19:51Cutting down the middle. You're right.
00:19:53Yeah, he doesn't have a single positive comment on anything.
00:19:57Well, I think that his personality, like, looks wise, him and Shekinah are good looking people.
00:20:05But I think their personalities are what turn people off.
00:20:11They're so fake. And people, I realize that's what
00:20:16a lot of people think is good looking or beautiful or whatever. If you look like you
00:20:22were taken directly out of a Mattel box, that takes away all of your personality.
00:20:28It takes away. It literally takes away who you are. And I don't care how many how many
00:20:34plastic surgeries you have looks eventually fake. You're gonna run out of TLC money.
00:20:40You're gonna run out of all this, all this shit. So you're not like she had to come back
00:20:45to the United States to work because they're not making money.
00:20:50Well, no, I agree. I do think they are not free.
00:20:56So Donna said it's no, they have no redeeming qualities. And I think that our generation
00:21:01and the generation before we're convinced that being good looking and beautiful are the only
00:21:06good quality. And we're running into so many people that are good looking, but shallow.
00:21:13They don't have a personality. They don't have any good character traits. They're liars.
00:21:17They're deceitful. They cheat on people. They don't value friendship. They don't value relationships
00:21:23because they're good looking. And they feel like that is like, again, a get out of jail
00:21:28free card for all the bad things that they do. They're like, Oh, well, yeah, I shouldn't have
00:21:32done that. But I'm good looking. How else would you be with someone that's good looking? And then
00:21:37they just, then you start to see the person that they are. Because I think in the beginning,
00:21:42Sarper was kind of shitty already. But then as we got along, especially this season, and seeing the
00:21:48way that he treats women in general, it's not just Shekinah. I think Shekinah, she likes being
00:21:53treated badly, which is a whole nother conversation. I don't think that it's an issue. But we met one of
00:22:00his exes who definitely did not want to be treated badly. And he treated her badly. He ghosted her,
00:22:04he lied to her. He treats women like they're below him and their property. And they're just something
00:22:11that you use when you're bored. And I think that's why we have this, this hatred. And we're looking
00:22:17at him and we're trying to understand what Shekinah wants out of him, right? We're just trying
00:22:23to understand what woman who has the ability to think and reason on her own, would leave their
00:22:28daughter in another country to go and chase after a man who lies to your face, rips your hair out,
00:22:36treats you like shit. And it's just really mind-blowing. Because in her mind, she won the
00:22:44lottery. And we're watching it. And in our mind, it looks like she went to the swamp and picked up
00:22:50the first dead animal that she found in the swamp. She's dragging it on her back. And we're like
00:22:55watching the same thing, but we don't understand where her mindset is.
00:22:59Yep. She went to the jungle. She picked out Dumbo. She headed home, found out he was a
00:23:05piece of shit. But she can make money on it. Riley said it. It's like her job.
00:23:11Yeah, so somebody posted on X, they said that they didn't believe Shekinah was fully Amish,
00:23:17or was an Amish. So they found an article where she said that her parents, they lived in Lancaster,
00:23:22Pennsylvania. And it was an Amish community. And the parents had a lot of Amish friends and
00:23:29people that they worked with. And they said that they raised their daughters Amish, but they were
00:23:33never actually Amish. So does that surprise you? Because I was like, she does sell being an ex
00:23:39Amish as like her selling point. Because even when she was on the Jerry Springer Baggage Show,
00:23:44like all of the shows that she was on, she made a point to say, I was an Amish person,
00:23:49or I was in the Amish community. So what do you think about that? Because she's basically
00:23:53misrepresenting herself. Or is she? If she was raised a certain way, but wasn't actually a part
00:23:59of the community, that's a misrepresentation, right? Yeah, you can't say that. Like, I mean,
00:24:05I guess you can say whatever the hell you want. But I mean, nobody like that says,
00:24:11okay, you're pissed off at Sarper for lying, rightfully so. But you're literally lying as well.
00:24:18I mean, I could come on here and tell you that I'm a witch. A lot of people will agree with that
00:24:24statement. But I have no actual witch qualities. I don't know witchcraft. I've tried to ride my
00:24:35broom for a long time, and I can't get it started. I think that when I realized that she was
00:24:42misrepresenting herself, and she was using it, because every time she goes on TV, and she's like,
00:24:47I grew up Amish, and I was an Amish, and the Amish was so controlling, I couldn't live the
00:24:51life I wanted. Then I found out that she wasn't actually a part of the community. It's like when
00:24:55you're a part of the Amish community, their kids don't go to like a school. They like teach them
00:25:00at home. Like it's a very different lifestyle than if you're not Amish. So if you lived in
00:25:06an Amish community, but you didn't actually participate, you're not Amish. Just like
00:25:09if I grew up in a Jewish community, I'm not Jewish. I might have a little more understanding
00:25:15of their way of life, because I can see it firsthand, but I can't go walking around telling
00:25:19people I'm a Jew. I'm not. I just grew up around people who were. I think that this
00:25:24misrepresentation is starting to happen a lot on this show. People want to be known,
00:25:30and they want to be a big name. They want to be the next big Angela, and they want to make this
00:25:34out of a career. They're misrepresenting themselves in hopes to become something.
00:25:40The way that she acts and dresses, it's different. To say that she used to be Amish,
00:25:45you're like, what happened? You definitely don't look, appear, or act as an Amish woman.
00:25:51So I think that she wants that shock value. And it's like, stop lying. I'm so tired of people
00:25:58lying about everything. If there isn't something interesting that you want to share with people
00:26:03about yourself, pick up an interesting hobby. Start doing something more than your face and
00:26:09your nose and your extensions, and make yourself. Absolutely. She could do so much with herself,
00:26:17but she just doesn't. Okay. So Corona and Inky were back on. Okay. So the consensus on X,
00:26:26a lot of people were tweeting out and saying they would like Corona to stop speaking for the
00:26:31Black community, because she keeps saying Black people don't do this. Black people don't do that.
00:26:36And again, I think we were just talking about this with Sarper and people in Turkey. We can't
00:26:41really say what everybody does and doesn't do, because if we want to be real, Corona's in Iceland
00:26:47chasing after a Viking who doesn't even want to marry her. I could say in turn, Black women don't
00:26:54do that. Right? So I think that it's interesting because everyone's like, why does she keep
00:27:01speaking for everyone? And I think that she has taken full ownership of the Black community on
00:27:06the show. She's like the representative for all Black people on the show. And I think it's
00:27:11a really strange thing because she of all people is so eccentric and different and unique. It's
00:27:17weird that she's trying to stereotype herself, because at the same time, she dresses like a
00:27:24dominatrix and she talks super different and everything about her is different, but she's also
00:27:29stereotyping herself at the same time. Isn't that weird? It is so weird. And that's the first thing
00:27:35in my notes. I was like, I didn't realize how much shit Black people don't do, because all the
00:27:43Black people around me do these things. Like, if you told me to describe these cast members,
00:27:51I'm not going to say Inky's the white guy in Iceland, and she's the only Black American woman
00:27:59in Iceland who ever did a polar plunge. That is not what I'm going to say. I'm going to say
00:28:05she wore heels. This woman wore heels. In the snow. In the snow. Yeah, she's literally wearing
00:28:14a dog harness with spikes. Like, that's how I'm going to describe her. Her being Black is the
00:28:21furthest thing from the first thing I see. I barely remember she's Black because honestly,
00:28:28she's so not stereotypical in any way. She doesn't really fit into any mold of a stereotype.
00:28:34She's a midwife. She is in Iceland, chasing after a viking. Everything about her makes
00:28:42her so different. So it's just so strange that she's trying to embody a stereotype.
00:28:48The thing is, is I like her. I like her and I like her family. I think her family is hilarious.
00:28:55But what I don't understand is why did you have to? I understand that there is
00:29:02separation and all of this stuff. I get all of that. But I don't understand why you would go
00:29:10to meet your fiancé, your boyfriend, somebody you're not even engaged to yet.
00:29:14Yeah, not even fiancé. It's just some random dude.
00:29:16You're literally on a show about fiancés and you guys aren't even engaged. In fact,
00:29:21I don't even know that you're exclusive for that matter. Because we never even talked about it.
00:29:27We're just focusing on the color of her skin. But we have to have a group meeting with other
00:29:35Black people and make it look like now there's a total of four Black people there in Iceland.
00:29:42And that's it. There's only four.
00:29:45There's clearly more than four. And I don't know why it could be production,
00:29:50why they're focusing so much on... Because let's be real. We've been watching 9 Day Fiancé for 10
00:29:55years. We never focused on people's nationalities this much. We never questioned David being a white
00:30:04man and Annie being from Thailand. We never questioned nationalities and we don't say,
00:30:09oh, you're not Black enough or you're not Thai enough or you're not Asian enough. We've never
00:30:13done that before. This is the first time that a nationality is being put on the forefront.
00:30:19She has to remind us in every scene that she's a Black woman, which is fine. Visually, we know,
00:30:24but her personality is enough for us to get to know. We don't need to put her in any
00:30:31nationality box. I think it's really weird. I would hate for someone to say, oh, that guy,
00:30:37George, he's the Black guy who has the podcast. Can I be the interesting person with the podcast?
00:30:42Or can I be... I would love to not be placed in a stereotype. I feel like she's working so hard
00:30:49to do the opposite of what I would want. Like I said, if somebody asked me and I had to describe
00:30:57her, her being Black is the last thing that's going to come out of my mouth when I'm describing
00:31:02her because that is not the first thing I see. Like I said, I really like her. I like her as
00:31:10a person. I think she's funny, even though I have seen her kind of do some weirder stuff on the
00:31:17internet. I have to. I have to. That kind of made me scratch my head a little bit. But I did like
00:31:24her and I do like her family. I think her family is freaking hilarious. But I lost my point. I
00:31:30forget where I was going with this. But before I saw her doing the weird shit on the internet,
00:31:35I just, I was more focused on him saying everyone that dates there is related.
00:31:44That was far more interesting. That was way more interesting. Yeah. Right. Because in America,
00:31:49guys aren't even engaged and you're on 90 day fiancé is more interesting.
00:31:57I thought it was crazy when she said, oh, I'm flying to Iceland to meet this guy that I barely
00:32:05know and we're gonna hopefully get engaged. I was like, that was enough to get me interested
00:32:10in her. I didn't need to know if she was black, white, orange, purple, blue. I was already
00:32:15intrigued at the fact that she was throwing away an Ivy League education from being a doctor to
00:32:21just chasing after some guy that honestly, he doesn't even look excited to see her. Like he's
00:32:27very like, this is just what I'm doing right now. Like I don't get any type of commitment out of
00:32:33him. And she went online and you, I know you saw it and said, oh, this is all a joke. This is all
00:32:38fake. We thought it would be funny, which I don't believe. I don't believe. The soft partnering for
00:32:44me is what made me lose a lot of like, I can't wait to watch these people. Really? So I mean,
00:32:51that was really interesting because she was like, oh yeah. She created something and decided to run
00:32:57with it. The soft partnering. Well, yeah. I mean, I think that over soft partnering is just
00:33:04basically what I, what did I call it? A gateway to domestic violence. Like, okay. So I looked at
00:33:10it as somebody does something that you hate and you just don't say anything. Then they do something
00:33:15that you hate again and you don't say anything. Then they do something you hate again, you flip
00:33:18out and you throw a plate at them. I was like, I just see it as a gateway to domestic violence.
00:33:22Cause it's like, you're saying that he does things that really, really piss you off. And you
00:33:27just pretend like it doesn't bother you. We're all human. You can only pretend that things don't
00:33:32bother you for so long until you flip out. And I was like, so you're basically saying you can't
00:33:37stand him, but you just ignore it. Right. That's basically what she was saying. So the polar plunge
00:33:43thing, black people don't do this. We have a polar plunge every year in February. The water is
00:33:51between 18 and 22 degrees. So colder than Iceland. And there are tons of black people doing it.
00:33:58There are tons of white people doing it. There are tons of Mexican people doing it
00:34:02because it's, it supports, I mean, it's for here, it supports the special Olympics.
00:34:09It's a fundraiser. It's a neat thing. It's a neat event. I did security for it for a long time,
00:34:14a lot of years when I was in school for criminology and the, the amazing people that
00:34:20came out and did it. I never once heard anybody say black people don't do this.
00:34:27I mean, I've heard it right. Like growing up, but I think that in 2024, the stereotypes of
00:34:35races, like unless you're a comedian and you know, you're trying to poke fun or get people to laugh.
00:34:40We don't really, things aren't done by stereotypes. Like I've been to concerts
00:34:45for artists that were like rock. And I was not the only black person there. Right. And I've been
00:34:50to rap concerts and there were more white people than black people there. You know, like, I think
00:34:55that we're past that point where races embody a certain thing or place or action or event. Like,
00:35:04I think we're way past that. Like you can go to a Taylor Swift concert, and you're going to see
00:35:07black people, white people, Chinese people, Asian people, African people, you're going to
00:35:11literally every walk of life is going to be there. You go to a Taylor Swift concert, and there are
00:35:19trans people, there are black people, white people, like anyone that you can think of,
00:35:23because at this point, we don't say because I remember growing up when I was younger,
00:35:28I lived in Louisiana. So we were by the Gulf of Mexico. So when people will go swimming in the
00:35:31Gulf, they'll be like, Oh, well, us black people don't do that. You know, when I was growing up,
00:35:36they would say that. But I was like, now, every time I go to the beach here in Florida, there's
00:35:40everybody, everybody going to the water. Like, literally, that is so outdated. And I want her
00:35:45to know, if she doesn't already, you can be black and go to Iceland, you can be black and go to,
00:35:51you can be white and go to Africa, you know, like, anything you want to do, you can be white
00:35:58and do anything you want to do, right. And it's not. And it's not about like, you know,
00:36:03my people don't do this. Like, we, as I feel like at this point in 2024, like, it's not really my
00:36:09people, your people anymore. We're just all people. I don't really feel like people believe
00:36:15my people, your people anymore. Like, I go to like festivals here. And there's like a lot of
00:36:19Hispanic culture here. And the Hispanics, they bring out the food and the drinks, and they want
00:36:24us to experience it. They play their music. They're very open with everybody experiencing the food,
00:36:30buying the food, listening to the music, trying their foods, trying desserts, like they don't,
00:36:35it's not a closed club anymore, right? Like, back in the day, it was all the black people
00:36:41would have these events, and they just wanted black people to go. Or we don't do that anymore.
00:36:46And I think that she's under the impression that we're still, you know, closed, we're a closed club,
00:36:51like, if you're not the right color, you can't go, or you can't participate. We're so past that.
00:36:58Absolutely. Also, you know, he's very likable. She just needs to move on with it.
00:37:03Yeah, I like her. I think she's interesting and funny and spontaneous. She doesn't plan anything
00:37:10properly, which is fine. I don't mind. I think people who plan less have more fun. I like her
00:37:16as a person. But I like you said, I don't describe her as a black girl on the show. I describe her
00:37:21as Corona, who's in Iceland chasing after a bike. Right? Like, that's, that's exactly what I get
00:37:26from it. And I feel like that's more interesting. Absolutely. Right? I don't want to put her in
00:37:30that box. Also, Josh's brother, Jared went to China, I want to talk about this real quick.
00:37:34Oh my gosh, I'm so I, I have so much to say about this.
00:37:39Really?
00:37:39Go ahead. Yes.
00:37:40Well, we were watching his brother help him bring some stuff up. So first of all,
00:37:45the house is five floors. Did you guys said there was five floors on the elevator? I don't know,
00:37:50I wasn't aware that there was five floors in this house. So now I understand a little better
00:37:57why Josh is there. Right? Because and then I also tweeted out, I was like, Josh, if you don't want
00:38:03to stay there, and you know, bang your wife, I can volunteer as tribute if I get like floor number
00:38:10three. Yeah, right. Like the whole floor can just be mine. I was like, it's not that difficult.
00:38:16You know, you're, this is a hotel at this point. Actually, the hotel that I was in yesterday,
00:38:23only four floors, Josh's house had an extra floor than the hotel that I was in.
00:38:27Just put that in perspective, right?
00:38:30My question is, why do you put an elevator in your house,
00:38:34in your five story house, and it's not big enough to fit a damn mattress?
00:38:40Huh? That's true. I yeah, because how do you get things up to five different floors?
00:38:48Yeah, yeah. And move it together.
00:38:52That is a flaw. That's a flaw in the construction. Because now that I'm thinking back,
00:38:58because I lived in apartments when I was younger, like when I first moved out of my mom's,
00:39:02and they had a freight elevator. Like they had the regular elevator, but they had a five story
00:39:08like they had the regular elevator for like people and stuff. And then there's like all
00:39:12the other end, there's this huge wide elevator where we could put all of our furniture
00:39:17to get it up because there's four floors in the building. So yeah, you're right. Why would you
00:39:22put a tiny little skinny elevator, and then everything else has to be dragged upstairs,
00:39:27which is dangerous. It's a hazard. Oh, yeah, Cocoa's has a dolly system. Yeah,
00:39:34like a dolly system for the stairwell. It's kind of like what they put the wheelchairs on,
00:39:39it pulls you pulls things up and down. Yeah, that would make sense. That would.
00:39:43So why is she texting the brother when they have a fight?
00:39:49I don't know. I was I was really interested in that. Because do you remember, I can't remember
00:39:54which couple this was. But there's another couple back in the day, where they were fighting. And
00:39:59then she went and was texting his brother or dad. No, I think it was his dad.
00:40:06It's Riley.
00:40:09Wait, was it Riley? Oh, my God, it was Riley. It was Riley. And what was her name? Violet.
00:40:14And Riley would get into a fight and Violet would go and vent to Riley's dad. And I thought that
00:40:19that was the strangest interaction between two non-related people. Right? Like, why would you
00:40:27have that? And then now we're watching Josh and Lily and Lily is talking about their issues with
00:40:33Jared. And I felt like that's really toxic. Right? Like you can't, because every time you hear
00:40:38something from someone about a relationship, and it's negative, you're gonna think that that
00:40:41relationship is bad, right? So and if you notice, Josh was also talking negatively to Jared about
00:40:47Lily. So it's like a two way communication of how toxic it is. But if I'm having problems,
00:40:54and I need to talk to my sister, that's fine. But there's no need for my husband to be texting her
00:41:00about our problems. Well, right, because what's your sister gonna do to fix it?
00:41:05Yeah, because she personally, your sister should be biased to your side. Yeah, right. But we can't
00:41:12always control how people feel. So what if your sister is not biased, and then she's telling him
00:41:19things that aren't going to be helpful? You know, so that was my first thought. I was like,
00:41:23if the person isn't biased, then what if they're being counterproductive to solving the problem?
00:41:28What if they're actually telling them should just kick him out, you should leave it like
00:41:32you don't want that type of advice. You know, if you called my sister or brother,
00:41:37they might tell you something like that. Because you know, my family is super, super,
00:41:41like dysfunctional, right? Like we get along when it's, it's convenient, and then we don't,
00:41:47right? So I wouldn't want those people to be that influential in my relationship.
00:41:53Yeah, I agree. I would be so mad.
00:41:57I mean, I think that the money, I think they brought this up on X a lot. They said, Oh,
00:42:02so we're gonna do this money thing every episode. So I do feel like their storyline is lacking
00:42:08a strong sense of conflict. Yeah. And I think it's because they actually probably love each
00:42:14other and they get along. And I think that when that happens, they have to keep beating at the
00:42:19same horse. Because I feel like every scene she says, Oh, this is money. This is money. This is
00:42:24money. I was like, look, this is the only thing y'all have going on. I feel like y'all are gonna
00:42:28be okay. Yeah. Right? Because no one is out of money. You're both. You're not homeless. You live
00:42:33in a five story house. If money is the only issue, I think y'all are gonna be okay.
00:42:36Also, what the hell did you eat for dinner? That was $500. Do you know how much Chinese food
00:42:47you can buy for five, you can spend $20 on Chinese food and have dinner for seven days.
00:42:55Somebody online, hold on. Somebody online said that it was 500 of the Chinese currency.
00:43:01So they said in like American, it was like five or $6. I don't, but don't quote,
00:43:05please don't quote me. I don't know the exchange rate. I'm just saying.
00:43:09It popped up that it was 3,513. Yon. Is that how you say it? Yon?
00:43:17Why? Yeah. Oh, so it was 500 converted to America. Oh yeah. So what did they eat? Yeah. That's crazy.
00:43:24So you, I could go spend 20 bucks on Chinese food right now. And we'd still be eating that
00:43:28shit on Friday. Oh yeah. I get like the $12 combination plate and I have like food for
00:43:34three days because literally give me so much food and rice and egg rolls and sauce and it literally,
00:43:40but again, Lily picked the restaurant, remember? Because she was like, do you want to eat here?
00:43:45And she, I think he thought she said it had snake. So she picked the restaurant. So it's like,
00:43:51you can't pick the restaurant and then complain about how much it costs.
00:43:54Yes. Right. Like that's my main issue.
00:43:57He doesn't know to eat at any specific restaurant in your country. It's probably not even in the
00:44:03language he understands. He doesn't know what they even serve. You bring him to a restaurant
00:44:07that charges $250 a plate or $150 a plate. You can't be like, can't believe you made me spend
00:44:13$500. She didn't. Yeah. He probably would have been fine if y'all went to McDonald's.
00:44:17Yep.
00:44:18But you chose the restaurant and then she's like, oh my God, I spend all this money. And it's like,
00:44:24if you don't have the money to spend, I get it. But if you, if you have a house with five stories,
00:44:29$500 on dinner is crazy, but it's probably in the realm of your lifestyle.
00:44:34It's in the realm of your lifestyle. I don't know what it's like to have an elevator in my home,
00:44:37let alone five floors. So I'm going to go ahead and say $500 is not going to make a
00:44:42breaker. And we did figure out that Lily's daughter is a famous actress in China. Who's
00:44:49been in blockbuster movies, right? Like Shibuti and I posted, or we talked about on his podcast
00:44:55and then we posted, she just did a movie recently in the last year or two that brought in millions
00:45:01and millions of dollars, like their Chinese spoken language movies. But let's say like,
00:45:07it looked like a kind of along the lines of like a Harry Potter type movie. It was like a wizardry
00:45:13type movie. So I don't know if all of the money Lily has is coming from her business or it's in
00:45:20the family. Because that was something I was thinking as well. I was like, maybe there's
00:45:24family money. Because if the daughter's a famous actress, and she's in blockbuster movies,
00:45:29if mom wants, you know, a house, daughter can just purchase mom a house.
00:45:34Absolutely.
00:45:35Right? Because we know that she has the spa. And I think Josh said in one of his lives that like
00:45:41a massage is only like $10 or something. Yeah, the price is there. And I was like,
00:45:45so how do we explain the five story house? You know, how many massages did she give
00:45:51in the amount of time to do it? So I'm beginning to think that this is family money. I think that
00:45:55the family is very wealthy, right? And the money is never going to be a real issue. It's fake.
00:46:02I think that this is a fake storyline. Because if I've never heard anybody who lived in a house
00:46:06like that complain about money. Yeah, never heard. It just doesn't happen. Kim Kardashian
00:46:10doesn't complain about the money on her compound, right? I don't even call her house a house. It's
00:46:15a compound. She never talks about how expensive anything is.
00:46:18Yep. Absolutely.
00:46:20Oh, Didiva speaks. She says maybe she gives happy endings.
00:46:26That could be because that costs 10 times the regular rate. So, okay, I don't know that,
00:46:32Josh. Josh, I don't know that. But it's possible, right? And I don't even think that's illegal. Is
00:46:37it illegal over there? I don't know. You know what, I should stop. I should stop talking because
00:46:41I don't have enough information. I don't have enough information. I don't want to sound stupid.
00:46:45I don't know if that's true or not. Because a lot of people are under the impression that in Vegas,
00:46:49prostitution is legal and it's not as long as you don't get caught or something. It's complicated
00:46:56because I used to think there was no log ins, but there is, but they don't enforce it. So,
00:47:02that's the whole thing. So, you know what, I'm not going to talk, I'm not going to say anything
00:47:05about that because I don't want to sound stupid. Oh, but I want to talk about some of this mama's
00:47:08boy that came on last night because we met a new mom and son, so Lori and Chase, which Chase is
00:47:16engaged. I think he's engaged to Tash, I think her name was. And he's actually living on his own
00:47:25in his own home in another state. He's the only mama's boy this season who doesn't have like
00:47:30physical ties. Well, I mean, also Austin and Charlene. Charlene's in Michigan and Austin is
00:47:35in LA. But it looks like Charlene spent a lot of time in LA. But Chase is actually living separate
00:47:41and he has a fiance who's getting married and his mom, Lori, has a fiance and she's getting
00:47:47married. So, it's really interesting. This one stood out to me because usually it's very
00:47:51codependent. They don't let the other do the marriage thing or the girlfriend. So, I was
00:47:57really interested in this one, because they're letting themselves live their own separate lives.
00:48:03But they also have this invasive relationship where they go out together, they go drinking
00:48:07together, people think that they're dating. So, it's really weird to me.
00:48:11That's crazy to me.
00:48:14No one has ever thought that my mom was my girlfriend, right? Like that's never happened.
00:48:18No one has ever thought my son was my boyfriend.
00:48:20Right. It's never happened. So, it's really weird when you get so close, and they go out drinking,
00:48:26they go to bars, they go to the spa. Kind of gave me like Matt and Kelly vibes. Because Matt and
00:48:33Kelly, they do the spa together, they go drinking, they do all of their stuff together. But Kelly is
00:48:39more standoffish when it comes to women in his life. And it seems like Lori and Tash are really
00:48:45close. Because they said that they're planning their weddings together, they get along. You know,
00:48:50the only thing was Lori was like, you'll always be number two. But I think all mothers say that,
00:48:54right? No mother is gonna be like, oh, yeah. Or no, she said, I'm the queen, you're the princess.
00:48:59Right.
00:48:59Something along the lines of that. But this is gonna be interesting though, because it's
00:49:03interesting to see a mama's boy who gets to live his own actual existence. And his mom allows it.
00:49:11He's there every weekend.
00:49:13Well, yeah. It's not close. He's in Tennessee, I think. And she's in, I think, Georgia. So,
00:49:20it's not around the corner, right? It's not around the block. So, I'm really interested
00:49:25in seeing how that turns out. Oh, so I want to talk about Shahid and Nailah. So, Nailah,
00:49:30she came to cook shrimp pasta for the family. And what the issue is, she brought like 10 shrimp
00:49:37total. And there's like a full family. So, there's Shahid, his brother, his mom, and his mom's
00:49:47boyfriend. So-
00:49:48Who he doesn't like.
00:49:49Who he hates, right. That's interesting too. Because the mom, she never mentioned she had
00:49:54a boyfriend up until this episode. So, I was a little surprised that there was a boyfriend. And
00:50:00then he said that this guy's the biggest mistake she ever made. So, I'm seeing that territorial
00:50:05side of Shahid, which is interesting because he's upset that his mom won't accept Nailah. But
00:50:11they're doing the same thing to each other. Because clearly this guy has been in his mom's
00:50:16life for eight years. They've been together for eight years, but he's not going anywhere. It's
00:50:20pretty constant. But it's funny because he doesn't approve and then she can't stand Nailah.
00:50:25She's under the impression that Nailah was a stripper at some point. And she's going to
00:50:31make Shahid pay for everything when they move out together. So, I wanted to get your opinion on that.
00:50:36Because back in the day, that was customary where a woman moves in with a boyfriend that she's with
00:50:42or a fiance, the man would pay the rent. How do you feel about that? So, say your daughter was
00:50:48going to move out with her boyfriend or fiance or husband, would you feel comfortable with her
00:50:53depending fully on someone or would you want her to contribute so she's not stuck in a situation
00:50:59that she might not be able to get out of? First of all, my daughter would never depend on anybody.
00:51:04Really? She's so independent. She has her college degree. She's young. She's married.
00:51:13She's got her good job. She is a very independent woman. And there's no way she would ever
00:51:23depend on anybody. She would never put herself in a position to be stuck, ever.
00:51:28Yeah, I think that's good. Because every time I hear these bad situations where women are stuck
00:51:36in and they're in danger, it's because the man has too much power financially. Like for instance,
00:51:42she'll get pregnant and he's like, oh no, stay home, take care of the kids. I'm going to take
00:51:46care of you. And now she's stuck because she doesn't have a safety net of money. She doesn't
00:51:50have savings. She doesn't have anywhere that she can go. He's in charge of everything. He's paying
00:51:55her car note. Everything is linked to him. So, her life is now in the hands of this person that
00:52:02she's grown to hate or be afraid of. So, I like that Shahid's mom said that she takes money out
00:52:10of his account and puts it in a savings account. I think that that's a positive thing. I think that
00:52:17she does a lot of negative things in his life and she's definitely counterproductive in him
00:52:22growing up and being independent. But she's also doing a couple of things that I did agree with.
00:52:29I agree with teaching your kids how to save. I disagree with you deciding how much you're
00:52:35going to take out. I also heavily disagree with doing it when they're 24 freaking years old.
00:52:42You do it till they're 18. You let them get a job as a teenager. You start pulling money out,
00:52:48teaching them how to save as a teenager. Then, or you do it, you know, till they're 20 or,
00:52:54you know, in college, whatever. I can't say 18 is the cutoff, but you do it through their teen years.
00:53:00Once they hit their 20s, they're a whole grown-ass adult. Here's your money. Figure it out. Don't
00:53:07blow it, but don't come back and ask me for a bunch of help. I think that she thinks she can do it
00:53:12because he's still in her house. Like, I think that that gives in her mind. He's a grown-ass
00:53:19man. He's 24. Even though he acts like he's 12, he's a grown-ass man. He is making his own money
00:53:26and she has no right to be putting her hands in there and setting it off to the side for him and
00:53:34then telling him what he can and can't do with it. No, he's an adult. I mean, yeah, he's grown. And
00:53:42if he has a job, the money, cause you know, this gets into that Hollywood stuff where
00:53:47the parents send the underage kids to work in Hollywood and then steal the money. It's kind
00:53:52of in that territory because he's going out and working and then she's taking the money. And I'm
00:53:56not saying she's stealing it, but she's saying what he can and can't do with it.
00:54:00Yeah. He's been taking money out for years to save for him.
00:54:05He's scared to move out because he doesn't want to upset his mother. But at the same time,
00:54:11he should want to move out. He's 24 years old. He has a job. He should be independent. And there's,
00:54:16what's wrong with a 24-year-old moving in with a girl that he likes or loves, wants to be with?
00:54:22That's a pretty normal thing that you would do. I do think that it's important that she
00:54:26contributes in some way. But again, he said that she got a regular job at a daycare,
00:54:31every two-week pay. Like, I don't think that she's the deadbeat that his mom has put trying to paint.
00:54:38I don't see that. I didn't see him-
00:54:40There's tons of different ways she can contribute. She can do the grocery shopping,
00:54:46she can do the cooking, she can do the laundry. I'm not saying that we need to move back to
00:54:51the 1920s. But what I'm saying is there are different ways to contribute.
00:54:55If he's putting in more money, she can put in more effort and vice versa.
00:54:59Yeah. And it should be his decision. If he wants to move in with her and pay all of the rent,
00:55:05like you said, he's grown, he's 24, he can make that decision. Some men, I don't agree with it,
00:55:09but some men like to be the provider and show the dominance. I don't like it specifically because I
00:55:16feel like y'all should be equals. And no one should be able to hold over someone's head like,
00:55:21well, I paid all this, I did this. I don't like power moves. So I don't like when the man's like,
00:55:27well, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have this car. It's not fair because now the woman feels
00:55:32like she owes you something. I feel like that's the only situation where I wish men and women
00:55:39realize that you should be more equal. Oh, speaking of, I want to talk about the 60th
00:55:45birthday party for Tina. Josh's mom, Tina, and his wife, Janelle. So Janelle gave Josh a photo
00:55:53of a Louis Vuitton purse that she really, really wanted, right? And Josh, in turn, purchased the
00:56:00purse and gave it to his mom. See, I'm so pissed off about that. Well, that's not even the worst
00:56:07part. His mom, Tina, also went in Janelle's closet for the party. Well, she didn't know it was the
00:56:12party. She thought they were just going out and wore the shoes that Janelle wore when she married
00:56:16Josh to the wedding. I'm a mother-in-law. I have a daughter-in-law. Okay. So I cannot imagine even
00:56:28stepping foot in my son and his wife's bedroom, much less their closet. And if I got a purse,
00:56:38yeah, I'd love a Louis. But if I found out that's what she picked and my son bought it for me,
00:56:45I would beat my son's ass. Like, take care of your wife. I'm your mama, but you take care of
00:56:51your wife. She not only rubbed it in their girl's faces, because, you know, she's got two sons,
00:56:58two daughter-in-laws. And she's like, you know who doesn't have one? You and you. Rubbed it in
00:57:04their face. I just feel like she treats them like they're always going to be second best. And I
00:57:10think that that's a really bad way to be a mother-in-law, right? Like, obviously, you know
00:57:15that your son is going to always love and respect you. You gave birth to him. But you don't have to
00:57:20make the women in his life feel like they should be in competition with you, right? And I feel like
00:57:27she reminds them. Because even when she's like, I wish you wouldn't go in my closet, you know,
00:57:32and she just said, like, I'm gonna do what I want. Like, what are you going to do? What would
00:57:36you do to stop me? Because at the end of the day, the mom knows because, oh, we didn't talk about
00:57:41the house. They bought a house in Florida to move back to Florida. She's originally from Florida.
00:57:45She took one for the team and moved to Massachusetts. And they won't move because
00:57:51Tina won't move. And he won't leave his mother. So now they're like stuck at a standstill. And I
00:57:56think the mom is using it as like a high roller card. Like, well, you can't do anything unless I
00:58:03approve it. And now- I would sneak my happy ass into mama's closet, take that Louis bag and move
00:58:10my ass to my house in Florida. That's what I said. I said, she should take the kids and pack up and
00:58:16go to Florida and call Josh and be like, do you want to see your family? Come to Florida. That's
00:58:20exactly what she should do and leave your mom there. Right? And I get it that Tina had that,
00:58:26um, what was it? A heart attack. And it was, it was touch and go. Super, super scary. Right?
00:58:32Especially she has one child, but they're twins. So like she has two sons. They're basically the
00:58:37same child. Right? So imagine losing that parent or thinking you're going to lose that. I totally
00:58:44understand that. But at the same time, when you start a family, you have kids, you marry someone,
00:58:49you have to make sure that they feel loved and important and appreciated. And I feel like he
00:58:54doesn't care. Like when she voices her opinions, he just stands there and he's silent and just
00:58:59lets his mom just yell and basically say whatever he wants or she wants. And there's no like, hey,
00:59:07I really wish that you were respecting those wishes. Right? Like you don't have to start a
00:59:11fight, but you could also set boundaries. Right? Like, I get it. You know, you think that, you
00:59:18know, you can use her things, but ask her first, like just set a boundary. You don't have to start
00:59:23a fight. You don't have to make anybody feel shitty, but you can also, as a man who needs
00:59:29to control, there's two women in your life that you love. You have to set boundaries between the
00:59:33two. Right? But when mom goes into the closet looking for shoes and there's shoes on the floor
00:59:39and then a special pair of shoes on the top, tucked away, stowed away, obviously you don't
00:59:45wear those. She can't pretend to make me believe she didn't realize that the shoes in the original
00:59:52box at the top of the closet are not important. Right? Like I've seen women's closets. There's
00:59:58boxes on the top shelf with purses and shoes. Those are very, very important. When you look,
01:00:04there's a shelf at the bottom, those shoes, whatever. But the stuff at the top that's still
01:00:10in the original box that might still have the bow on it from when they got it, don't touch that
01:00:14shit. Everybody knows that. That is not for you to touch. That is something that they received
01:00:19or purchased for themselves that they will cut your fingers off over. There are certain stuff
01:00:25that women, and it's that top shelf. Anytime you walk into a woman's closet, there's clothes,
01:00:31there's like a shoe rack at the bottom. There's purses that they might even have on the floor.
01:00:35And then the stuff at the top, don't mess with it. That's where the real stuff is at. And I think
01:00:40the mom, the mom is not stupid. The mom knows what she's doing. She just knows that she can get away
01:00:43with it. Tina knows that nobody's going to stop her because her son is going to always pick her
01:00:49over Janelle, which I think is just horrible. Yep. Yeah, I don't know. I can't with them.
01:00:57Yeah, Donna, I think you're right. She's trying to be a problem because I think deep down,
01:01:02she feels threatened. And by her snarky comments. Why all the snarky comments? She kept saying,
01:01:09even though we argue, I love you. Why do you have to keep pointing that out?
01:01:14I think she's being, what's the word? Vindictive? Yeah, like it's almost like when you,
01:01:20what do you call it when you, not provoke, but you rub it in somebody's face?
01:01:27Antagonize? Antagonize. I think she's antagonizing.
01:01:31Absolutely. You know, someone's upset with you. And then
01:01:33you're like, you know, you know, you know, I love you. You know, you know, you're not mad,
01:01:38but they are. You're antagonizing them. You know that it's pissing them off. I feel like the mom
01:01:42does that. And you know, that doesn't end well. It could end with Josh being filed for divorce on,
01:01:49like it doesn't end well. A woman can only put up with so much shit, right? Like women are built to
01:01:54take a lot, but they're also human. And if he keeps treating her like she's not important,
01:01:59she'll find somebody who treats her like she is. Right? There's always a man who will treat you
01:02:04the way you're supposed to be treated. You just got to find them.
01:02:06Yep. I agree.
01:02:08All right. So we're going to wrap. I think we only have like a minute left. We're going to wrap.
