00:00Hey friends, I'm Stacey and this is Gorgeously Aging and today we are doing a Botox treatment
00:10of the entire face including the jawline to minimize jowling.
00:14You guys know I love my Rentox but I also love Dehantox.
00:18So today I'm going to use Dehantox 100.
00:21Now it's super easy to mix.
00:22I already mixed this off camera but you just put 2 mls of saline into the dehydrated toxin
00:29the toxin is at the bottom and it hardly looks like there is anything in there.
00:35Sometimes the vial looks empty.
00:37You mix that with the 2 mls of saline, give it a little swirl and set it aside while you
00:43prep for the rest of your treatment.
00:45When you order from acecosm.com they send you the saline that you need to mix with it.
00:50I like to change up my toxins every other or every third time just so I don't get too
00:56used to any particular toxin or botulinum toxin.
00:59I'm definitely noticing that I have a lot more movement back so it is time to treat.
01:04So we're going to do a mapping here and I'm going to explain some things about the anatomy
01:08but first I want to ask you a huge favor.
01:10If you've enjoyed my videos consider hitting that share button and texting to a friend
01:15so they can learn and save and feel empowered.
01:18I don't think people realize how safe and easy it is to do these treatments at home.
01:23So I'm going to start by mapping the frontalis.
01:25In today's video the black markings are going to represent 2 units each.
01:29So the frontalis is an elevating muscle and we're going to basically be treating everything
01:38inside this zone and up about 2 finger widths because if you get too low you're going to
01:45drop the eyebrows.
01:48We don't want that.
01:49Out here we're going to sprinkle in a few units up high to avoid a spot brow.
01:54So this area is going to be our primary focus.
01:58So I'm going to get some up high.
02:06I have a very large and strong frontalis so I'm going to treat this aggressively.
02:09If your forehead is a little smaller or not as strong you may not need as many units.
02:14So I'm alternating these so I'm kind of doing a zigzag here and then we're going to come
02:21down here and then I want to treat 2 units here and 2 units here.
02:29If you treat down here a little closer to the eyebrow you're going to drop the tail
02:33of your brow.
02:34So in this area of treatment we have 28 units.
02:38Now the blue markings are going to represent 4 units each.
02:42Now I forgot to mention you guys I thoroughly washed my face and swabbed with alcohol before
02:46I got started.
02:48So we're going to treat the procerus and the corrugators here.
02:53Now you can go up to 8 units in these areas, 4 is fine for me, but you can adjust as needed.
02:59The orange markings are going to represent 1 unit each.
03:19We're going to use this to lift the brow and to smooth the crow's feet.
03:23The orbicularis oculi around the eye is responsible for squeezing the eyes in or squeezing them
03:29tight and by relaxing that strength you're going to smooth those crow's feet lines.
03:36It also helps to lift the brow.
03:38These are very shallow superficial injections so I'm going to do here, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3,
03:514.
03:53So those are 1 unit each.
03:54I'm also going to do 1 unit each on the lip flip.
03:57I want a soft lip flip, nothing too dramatic and I'm going to treat that 1, 2, 3, 4.
04:05This will help provide a fuller upper lip and soften any vertical lip lines.
04:10I also want to treat the DAO muscles, depressor angularis oris.
04:14These pull down the corner of the mouth.
04:16Treating the DAO will also help lift the jawline and the jowls.
04:21I'm going to pull down and make an ugly face.
04:26My hands have been sanitized.
04:31Here, here, here, here.
04:40You can treat just at the top of the DAO or you can treat top and bottom which is my preference.
04:46Now the platysma muscle runs up the neck and to the jawline.
04:50By treating a few points superficially with 2 units each where the platysma meets the
04:56jaw that will help sharpen the jawline and treat the jowls.
05:00Now I'm not going to do my neck today.
05:02I did a pretty robust neck treatment last time and I think I'm just going to wait until
05:05the next time.
05:06So now is the time that you count up how many units you need and prepare your needles.
05:11I'm not using as many separate needles today because I feel comfortable with dosing out
05:17injections.
05:18But if you are just starting you can separate your areas of treatment into several different
05:23needles which keeps the needle sharp and keeps you very organized.
05:27Some people even do one syringe per injection dot so that they don't over treat.
05:33This means you go through a ton of needles if you do a full face.
05:37But you have the security of knowing that each syringe is the dose you need for every
05:42single dot on your face or every single treatment point.
05:46You know I almost forgot I do want to do the chin today so I'm going to do here and here.
05:50This helps avoid a cobblestone chin.
05:52It just relaxes that chin muscle.
05:55So I have 20 units here.
05:56I have 12 units of the orange.
05:59These are 1 unit each.
06:01I have 14 units of the 2 unit dots in my lower face.
06:05So how you keep this organized is really individual to you.
06:09How many syringes you plan to use and what makes sense and keeps you organized and making
06:14sure that you're giving yourself a consistent evenly dosed injection.
06:19So I'm going to go ahead and prepare my needles and put on some gloves.
06:22I'll be right back.
06:23So mixing 2 mils into here yields a 5 unit per 0.1 ml dosing.
06:30So every 10 line is 0.1 ml.
06:34So every 10 line is 5 units.
06:36In this case it means each little hash mark is 1 unit.
06:40Now if you're using a different needle besides a 0.1 ml it's still 5 units per 0.1 ml but
06:47where the 0.1 ml is on the syringe looks different.
06:53Let me show you on a half mil syringe.
06:55The dosing is still the same but this is a half mil syringe meaning that it's skinnier.
07:00It holds half of the volume of the 1 mil syringe.
07:04So it's still 0.1 ml is 5 units.
07:08It's just going to look different because this is a smaller volume syringe.
07:12So I mix more than I'm going to need in this in case you're watching the volume go down.
07:16I actually filled this in case I decide to do a few injections in the autismal bands.
07:21I'm not planning on it but we'll see how I feel once I get done with the treatment.
07:24So it definitely helps to have a magnifying mirror.
07:26I've got my gloves on and we're going to go ahead.
07:29I like to stretch the skin with a couple of fingers.
07:32We're going to go in shallow in the forehead.
07:34Very shallow superficial injection.
07:36Just under the skin.
07:37One.
07:38Two.
07:39You get the little mosquito bites.
07:44Just under the skin.
07:47One.
07:50Two.
07:53I like to twist it to see in my mirror so I can see where I'm at.
08:01One.
08:02Two.
08:03One.
08:04Two.
08:05One.
08:06Two.
08:07When you get good at this you can kind of tell how much volume you've got by the size
08:18of the bump.
08:19Not that I would count on that.
08:28One.
08:29Two.
08:30One.
08:31Two.
08:32One.
08:33Two.
08:34One.
08:35Two.
08:36One.
08:37Two.
08:38One.
08:39Two.
08:40One.
08:41Two.
08:42One.
08:43Two.
08:44One.
08:45Two.
08:46One.
08:47Two.
08:48One.
08:49Two.
08:50One.
08:51Two.
08:52One.
08:53Two.
08:54One.
08:55Two.
08:56One.
08:57Two.
08:58One.
08:59Two.
09:00One.
09:01Two.
09:02One.
09:03Two.
09:04One.
09:05Two.
09:06One.
09:07Two.
09:08One.
09:09Two.
09:10One.
09:11Two.
09:12One.
09:13Two.
09:14One.
09:15All right we've got the frontalis done and I'm just going to wipe upward, get rid of
09:16my markings.
09:17A little bleeding is normal.
09:18You don't want to press on those bumps, you just kind of want to let them settle in.
09:19So I feel like dehon-tox compared to Ren-tox lasts me a little longer where Ren-tox kicks
09:25in really quick but doesn't last quite as long, so there's pros and cons to both. I still love
09:29Rentox and use it regularly, but I also love Toxta and Dehantox. I have 20 units drawn up here,
09:35that's exactly what we will need here, four units each. I'm going to start here by pinching in the
09:40procerus. We're going to go straight in, this one's a little deeper.
09:55We're going to pinch here, you can feel the corrugator when you pinch it,
09:58you can kind of see that between the fingers there. This one's going to go in an angle
10:02about four millimeters in, it's kind of medium depth.
10:12This one's going to be a little shallow.
10:23We're going to pinch this over here.
10:33So
10:46that can be a little awkward holding your hand depending on your dominant hand.
10:53No pressure, just lightly wiping. Now for these orange dots, we're doing one unit each,
10:58so just a tiny bit. We want to aim away from the eye.
11:14Using that magnifying mirror, visually inspecting for veins,
11:23trying to avoid them if you can.
11:28So
11:41so
11:58it really does help if you spread the skin.
12:10One, two,
12:23three. I can see a little vein right here, we're going to avoid that, just move around it.
12:36Now we just treated the crow's feet and gave ourselves a little brow lift.
12:41Wiping away from the eye, and we have four more units left to finish up the lip flip. The lip
12:46hurts just a little bit, so be warned, the lip is sensitive. Going back to the crow's feet,
12:50these were very superficial at a low angle going into the skin, not deep at all,
12:56just the surface of the skin. Same thing with the lip flip. Pulling.
13:11One,
13:21two,
13:32three,
13:32four. And I used that up perfectly. It gets harder when you can't see,
13:45so that's where the magnifying mirror really comes in handy. Honestly, if you can spare a
13:49bunch of needles, if you individually dose each syringe with the individual dose you need,
13:55you don't have to worry about being so accurate with your finger, you just use one syringe per
14:00treatment spot. It just uses up a ton of needles. But the benefit is that you're accurate and you
14:06get a sharp needle with every injection. The needles do dull as you use them, so if you use
14:12one syringe and one needle for a lot of the face, you're going to feel it more as you go because
14:18that needle gets dull. These are two units each here. We're going to start with the DAO. I lost
14:23one of my dots here from my hand. And the DAO is a little more on the medium side, about four
14:31millimeters in. One, two,
14:48three, four,
14:53one, two,
15:10three, four. We're going to do the chin. This is straight in, about six millimeters.
15:24One, two,
15:39two. And then we're just going to run it along the jawline here to help lift the jaw
15:45and improve the jowling. These are more superficial.
15:47Just a couple millimeters in angle. One, two,
15:59three, four,
16:04five, six,
16:12one, two,
16:13three, four,
16:20five, six. So just to go over depth throughout the face, the forehead or frontalis is a very shallow
16:26injection. Superficial, needle at an angle, just under the skin a couple millimeters. Same thing
16:32with the crow's feet, away from the eye, at an angle, just under the skin a couple millimeters.
16:38The procerus is deep, straight in, about four to six millimeters. The corrugators,
16:44at the front of the corrugator, a little bit deeper, medium to deep, that's about four
16:48millimeters, and about two or three millimeters as you work up the corrugator. The lip flip is a
16:53shallow, just under the skin, medium here on the DAOs, and shallow superficial on the jawline.
17:00If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments. Let me know if you've used
17:05Dehantox. It's one of my favorites. I really do love changing it up each time or every third time.
17:11Thanks so much for watching today. Don't forget to share this video with somebody who might enjoy it.
17:15I'll see you in my next video. Be good to yourselves and to others.
17:35Bye.
