00:00I'm Stacey and this is Gorgeously Aging Advanced. Thank you so much for being here with me today
00:08you guys. This is the second episode of a plasma fibroblasting series. Today we are
00:13going to talk about devices and what you should know about devices and maybe what to look
00:18for. So I'm going to try to give you kind of a lowdown of what I have purchased in the
00:24past and why I didn't like it and where I am now with my top two devices. Now there
00:30are a whole range of devices in between that really cheap one I bought first and the more
00:35expensive Plaxel Plus that I have now that is my favorite. And then my step down from
00:41the Plaxel Plus is the Plymon pen. I'm going to show you both of those today but I'm also
00:46going to talk to you a little bit about what to look for in a good plasma pen. It's taken
00:52me about three years to land on one and to actually decide to do a plasma treatment and
00:58I'll tell you what is important to me in being able to treat myself but also to be able to
01:05do other treatments in addition to what we see all over YouTube which is the little dots
01:10with the carbon crust and you know these things become viral and for me it's not important
01:16to follow trends or to do what's viral but to do to purchase something and to learn alternate
01:22ways and to use a tool to maximize the tools efficacy and to reach the goals that I want
01:27to reach for my anti-aging and skincare. So if you guys are with me today please give
01:33this video a thumbs up if you like this kind of content I really do appreciate it and if
01:37you are brand new to my channel I would love to have you join the Gorgeously Aging community
01:41by subscribing to my channel. I also have Gorgeously Aging this channel is Gorgeously
01:47Aging Advanced I also have Gorgeously Aging where we talk more about devices and other
01:51skincare ingredients and products this is a little bit more advanced as far as facial
01:56rejuvenation so those both of those channels offer valuable resources in your aging journey.
02:03So you guys I will get to the comments if you're here and you want to comment I would
02:08love to hear from you also just a note I live in the mountains I have the best internet
02:13that I can have and I'm directly wired into it but sometimes my lives glitch just a little
02:17bit here and there please be patient I hope to fill this live with a lot of really good
02:22information if you have anything to add please do so in the comment section section below
02:27maybe what pens you've used what your thoughts were on them it's through sharing that everybody
02:32can make the best decision about what they want to use as far as devices I always appreciate
02:38that so one little note is somebody popped into a comment in my last fibroblasting video
02:44and basically said I was gaslighting and then I was promoting expensive products and that
02:48they all work the same that's just not true you guys know I pride myself on giving good
02:54information focusing on safety I'm sharing with you my journey the reason that I picked
02:59a more expensive pen isn't because I want to push that on you it's because I wasn't
03:05convinced plasma fibroblasting was a modality that I wanted to use on my skin I have worked
03:1120 plus years to get my skin looking like this and I don't want to burn my face and
03:18not produce results that I want I'm not going to do just anything to my skin to sell a product
03:24and that's how I felt about plasma fibroblasting so it's taken me this long to not only research
03:31study get certified but also come to the conclusion that these are the right two pens
03:37for me they may not be the right pens for everybody and certainly they may not be in
03:43everybody's budget and we're going to talk a little bit about that there are other options
03:48for plasma pens you certainly don't have to use the ones I'm talking about and this is
03:52by no means a heavy push for purchasing these products there are some advantages to these
03:58and I'll talk about those but there are so many plasma pens on the market so take what
04:03I say and using it use it as a jumping-off point for your own research I am NOT the expert
04:09at all things plasma fibroblasting and certainly will never claim to be only sharing my own
04:15journey so for the person that said shame on you I'm trying to give the most honest
04:21advice that I can or my personal experience I'm definitely not pushing for anybody to
04:27spend money they don't have on a device we'll talk a little bit about lesser expensive devices
04:32and why I've passed up on a few of those first I'm going to start out by saying that the
04:38two pens that I use the one I got certified in is the Plexel Plus and the other one I
04:45have that I really think is a quality device is the Plamon this I had gotten from Ace Cosm
04:50but they also do offer it at Plasma Perfecting and I believe with all of the devices purchased
04:56from there you get the free certifications so if you're interested in that for anybody
05:01who really so for me getting certified because I'm in the beauty industry is important to
05:06me but for some it may not be important at all it is a great opportunity for an additional
05:12revenue stream for those who are interested in making a business of it now every state
05:17has different regulations so that's something you'd have to check into with your state but
05:23that's why I focus on the Plexel Plus because there are a number of people that watch my
05:28videos that are estheticians and in the beauty industry that may really get benefit from
05:33that certification I just love learning so anytime I can get a certification in something
05:39I'm all for it so going back to the person who said every device is the same so this
05:47just isn't true let's just take a broad look at this is this is going to be a comparison
05:53that some people may get angry at but imagine you get burned by a torch somebody's somebody's
05:59welding something and you get burned by that that's going to be a humongous burn so your
06:03hand gets in the way and you get a burn on your hand or if somebody has a lighter and
06:08you pass your hand through it you may get a small burn and you know this is this is
06:12just kind of watering down this whole conversation but the amount of energy that comes out of the
06:19device the magnitude of the plasma arc the degree the temperature the size of the needle tip
06:28the control settings on the device how you can tune in those controls the different types of
06:35modes that come with a device all of that makes a difference so the first plasma pen that I bought
06:41was from ebay it was like sixty dollars sixty nine dollars and it came and it was in a case
06:47and I was impressed with the delivery of it and with that it came in a case it had all these needle
06:51tips I tried it on my skin and the burns that you see like the little plasma cross they were pretty
07:00big and and I felt the heat dissipate it didn't feel controlled and it took a long time for my
07:07hand to heal I actually did it right right around here and afterwards I don't know that you'll be
07:12able to see it on camera it left me with a white I don't know if you can even see this there's like
07:17a white scar there and after that I was like there is no way this thing is touching my face the heat
07:23was too intense I could tell it wasn't controlled the the needle tips that came with it were not
07:30fine they were pretty clunky and I just wasn't going to use that on my face so for anybody that
07:36feels like they're all the devices are created equal you know certainly try those sixty nine
07:42dollar ebay finds if you can and see you know they're great that would probably be great for
07:46like a mole or wart removal something that just gives you blast you with a lot of heat but there
07:53is a degree of accuracy that needs to come from this so that you don't burn your skin create
07:59scarring create pitting like I can't imagine working 20 years on my skin and using a device
08:06that causes pitting that looks like acne scarring I mean that would devastate me so that one was a
08:12no-go and I was gonna sell it I was gonna turn around and sell it because I paid 69 bucks for
08:17it but I actually didn't even want to sell it because I felt like somebody else was going to
08:21use this on their face and be devastated so that one was like it's sitting around here somewhere I
08:26don't even know collecting dust um you guys if you're commenting I will get into the comments
08:31and we'll chit chat a little bit later here in the live I hope that I'm not glitching out on you guys
08:36so one thing to look for uh skipping away from really cheap devices there are a lot of devices
08:41in between but a couple things to look for here's the pomod you have the constant and the pulse so
08:47that you got those two modalities and then you have your um intensity so you can dial in your
08:53intensity now the plaxel has a little bit more controls and it shows up here when it's plugged in
08:59and you can choose pulse uh constant there are a few other modalities on there but you do have
09:06more control that way and you have the range of intensity from one to ten and um we'll talk more
09:13about that in these subsequent videos that I do on plasma fibroblast the next one is going to be
09:18fractional and fractional face facial treatments which I think is wonderful and in fact I experimented
09:25with one pass on my chest which in a fractional uh treatment there's actually four passes um you
09:32know you go up uh across and then diagonal both ways and I'm excited to show you this treatment
09:39because it's less downtime than doing the dot dot dot where you have all the carbon crust and less
09:45risk for hyperpigmentation issues so you can do that one monthly and you don't have as much
09:51downtime so I'm excited to do that and you can cover a large area a lot more effectively than
09:56you can when you do the dot dot dot so that's something um that I'm excited to share with you
10:03and there's a couple other techniques too along with the traditional technique that you see all
10:08over YouTube but I want to show you all of them um and what they're good for because not everybody
10:13has the same needs there's even um you know a specific acne treatment that can be done with
10:19the plaxel or with any plasma pen providing you have the right tips so that brings me to
10:26my next thing now when you get a plamon we're going to talk about the plamon here you get the
10:32fractional tip that when the plasma arc comes out of the pen it hits all of those little spiky
10:41pieces of this fractional tip and that's how you are able to hit a large surface and this doesn't
10:48leave necessarily the plasma across the same way that you see with the dot dot so this is an
10:55exciting facial that can be done and I've looked at some before and after pictures and of course
11:01you guys what you find on the internet can be doctored unfortunately but there is some interesting
11:07results from the fractional plasma treatment so it comes with this one it comes with this which
11:13gives a feeling kind of like a hot stone massage and this can heat the tissue and induce a mild
11:19collagen response but it also helps um skincare products penetrate but this one will give you a
11:26nice heated you can do two of these together for a fractional facial and I'm going to show you guys
11:31that in a in one of the next few videos here coming up in this series but this one is really
11:36nice for that reason and then it comes with this ball tip now the ball tip you're going to get the
11:42plaques um the plasma heating up the ball tip and you can use this in back and forth motions
11:49side to side motions so there is a lifting effect that can be achieved with this and I'm going to
11:54show you what I've learned and how to best use the ball tip to tighten skin and get a little lifting
12:00effect so of course what we often what we all see regularly is these copper tips here's a straight
12:08one and here is one that is bent we'll I'll be doing a video where we do a little bit of practice
12:15on a banana um and that's a great way to practice different techniques but there's beyond the dot
12:23there's like a five figure or the five on a dice um doing it that way also the blaze technique
12:30where you hold in the pen and run it continuously across an area and it continues to shoot the plasma
12:38arc as you drag the pen along about a millimeter to two millimeters above the skin so we'll talk
12:44about that as well but getting back to how to pick a good device one thing I think is a big mistake is
12:51what I did buying a cheap device buying another stepping up buying another one that's maybe a
12:56couple hundred dollars and deciding both of those aren't are are not quality devices and then you've
13:02wasted that money now everybody's going to do their own homework and find a device that they
13:08feel comfortable with price point it has the attachments that they think they're going to need
13:13um as a point here you can buy some of these attachments separate so if you have a pen that
13:19you're using and you don't hate to have the fractional tip I do believe you can buy those
13:24check at plasmaperfecting.com and if you don't see them available send an email
13:30because I've been told you can buy the tips separately so if you have a pen but you don't
13:36have the tips that you want check into getting those tips uh purchased separately so make sure
13:41it has it's a quality device in terms of it has the controls you want it has a dial for intensity
13:48or a button that you can adjust intensity and that it comes with the tips or heads that you
13:54are going to be using or you want to use to treat your specific needs um this is something that I
14:01wish I had really looked into more in my initial excitement several years back when you we were
14:07hearing a lot about the plasma fibroblast or plasma sculpt I think is what I first was introduced to
14:14this as um you know then you just saw all you saw was the the tip like like this one and you
14:25didn't really see any of the other tips so I didn't know to look for that and I hadn't done a lot of
14:31research I hadn't yet been certified and so I'm hoping to share some of the mistakes that I made
14:36to save you guys from making the same mistakes um and save you a little bit of money now certainly
14:41the Plaxo Plus have I had I not if I wasn't a YouTuber or somebody that was in the beauty industry
14:48um or that or that I didn't want to get certified it may not have been on my radar and I certainly
14:55may have uh you know double I may have done a double take at it's like $2,500 so this one is
15:02like a medical grade uh professional plasma pen it's not for everybody and there are other options
15:11the Plamon is like a thousand dollars still very expensive device but way less than half the price
15:18of the Plaxo Plus I still would feel very comfortable and I will show you guys me using this
15:24um it's a really great device I've heard a lot of people talk about the Monster Beauty Monster
15:30plasma pen really like that I have no experience with that pen I don't know anything about it but
15:37I have heard some really good things about that pen so you know do your own research certainly
15:42I'm not saying the devices that I have are the only devices that are safe that is absolutely
15:48not true but these are the devices that I'm feeling good about finally using on my skin
15:53um you know I'm going to start with my hands chest neck and then move up to my face this will allow
16:00me more time to get really comfortable with treating myself because all the certification
16:05and all the practice on bananas in the world doesn't give you the same comfort as when you're
16:10actually doing it on your skin so as I experiment with doing this on my body and my face and get
16:16results from it or don't I'll share that with you guys along the way so you can see how these tools
16:22actually perform and if they're worth it and if it's something that I'll continue doing because
16:27believe me I will tell you if it's something that I don't feel is effective or worth my time or worth
16:34the downtime you guys are going to know about it because the last thing I want to do is promote
16:38something that's not effective and or unsafe or has such um severe downtime that it makes living
16:47life difficult now I'm okay with some downtime but um you know it's hard to carve out several
16:55weeks of downtime at least in my life I'm sure many of you can relate to that so I'm going to
17:01jump over to comments I'm hoping some of you guys have some feedback about different devices that
17:05you're using Colleen is here hi Cece love the hair like that thank you so much you look beautiful
17:11thank you you guys I got these earrings on Amazon everybody always asks me after my videos or lives
17:16like where are your for your earrings or necklace from I should start linking them I'll go back and
17:21link these earrings because they were super cheap but I just think they're so cute there was a whole
17:24bunch of other colors um Colleen says just block the trolls yeah you know I actually I kind of find
17:32it interesting when people come in and have comments like that though you're gaslighting
17:35and shame on you for promoting an expensive product like um I don't expect anybody to like
17:41or buy the products that I like or buy um I'm offering you the the you know discount code that
17:47I have in case you're interested or if there's estheticians out there that want to get certified
17:51or people like me that just really enjoy learning um but there are so many places you know ace
17:57costume all of my affiliates which you can find at gorgeouslyaging.com and all the discount codes
18:03are there too they all have different pens and and definitely check on what's available
18:09don't ever take my word for it do your own research and come to your own conclusions
18:14um miss thank you for saying block the trolls it doesn't really bother me sometimes I kind of
18:18chuckle but it always uh sometimes it'll bring out a point that I want to discuss in a video
18:23and so it was actually good misty is here I have been on the fence about plasma pens
18:29uh that being said if I get one it will be a plexal if they ever go on a good sale yeah and
18:34if I ever hear about a sale I'll be certain to let you guys know the owner of plasma perfecting
18:41contacts me a lot we chat uh she's a really good research our resource for me if I have questions
18:47and I know that she's very responsive and has good customer service so there's always that too
18:53uh carol hi stacy hi everyone thanks for this video you're so welcome you guys I hope it's
18:58helpful and beneficial I really do try to create content that I think you guys are going to learn
19:02from or maybe give you a little bit of pause for thought before buying something um because you
19:08know I don't ever want to be where I promote something and somebody says well that was a
19:12humongous waste of money um that wouldn't be very good for my reputation or just it's just not
19:18who I am you know I'm not going to push on push something on anybody that I wouldn't use on my
19:23face myself and that's why it's taking me so long to actually pull the trigger on doing plasma
19:29treatments on myself and carol's here can't wait for the fractional video I know I'm super excited
19:34about it you guys I'm actually more excited about the fractional and some of these other
19:39the ball tip and the lifting you can get with that so much focus is on those carbon dots all
19:45over the face and you can do as much with these other device pads and have less downtime and do
19:52them a little bit more frequently and for me I think that's on point with my lifestyle but
19:58I will be doing the um dot I'm going to be doing the traditional plasma fibroblasts on my
20:05eyelids I believe that's my plan as of now um Alina you look so elegant thank you you guys this
20:10is my like four days not washing my hair like throwing it up on my head and there used to be
20:15a time that I would never do that because I have such a big forehead but I'm kind of now at 50 I'm
20:20kind of over my forehead issues my hang up on my forehead so I'm just like you know what if you
20:24don't like my big forehead you don't have to look at it uh thank you for saying that that's very
20:29sweet Alina in con is plasma pen dangerous you know it's not necessarily dangerous I mean it
20:35would be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing um you know there are risks with any type of
20:41at home device so it's important to really know the device read the manual um you know through
20:47and through watch videos like this one and many others not just mine but other people's doctors
20:53who have done it um you know there's a plethora of plasma pen videos like before and afters out
20:59there on the internet so you can certainly watch those other people's experiences and there's
21:04there's a good and bad there are people will say plasma pen work wonders for them I've read and
21:10seen many of those and there's people that said it didn't work it was a waste of money
21:15it burned their skin I think a lot of that is the when they got it done if it was a long time ago
21:20before the pens evolved and the technology evolved it may have been an aggressive pen that
21:27burned too hot and burned too deeply and some of these pens aren't producing a true plasma arc
21:32they are literally you have to touch the skin and it burns the tip of it burns the skin
21:38and although the plasma arc does kind of in a sense burn the skin by heating um ones that are
21:45refined like the Plaxo Plus I've done tests and you can't even see where the carbon um crust is
21:52it it doesn't hurt the epidermis it gets into the dermis heats the dermis to activate fibroblasts
21:59but what you see on the surface of skin is almost nothing like it's incredible how the
22:05Plaxo Plus works it's it's not like a true all the other plasma pens I've used and so some might
22:11think well it's not working if you don't see that hole or the crust actually in my opinion it's
22:17working in it on a more refined level you're using finer needles and it almost creates like a white
22:24on the surface of the skin I actually tested it on my hand yesterday you guys can't even see it
22:28like there's no carbon cross you can see some red dots so this is my initial test on my hand and I
22:33will be showing you guys video of that but this is with the Plaxo Plus now you guys might think
22:39well that's just freckles or redness no that's that's the treatment so it's not you don't have
22:44really rough uh scabby crust you have a more refined and so we'll see as this I took pictures
22:52so we'll have a good before and after but we'll see um how that compares because I will be using
22:58like the Plamon and I may even break out if I can find it in the dusty storage that really cheap one
23:04I had and see I'll show you comparisons because for anybody that thinks all plasma devices are
23:10the same they are absolutely not I can guarantee you that so definitely do your homework um so
23:17con I don't believe it's dangerous when you do the research and understand how to use it properly
23:23Amy Rutherford uh I bought a laser plasma con a year ago I have been able to treat and get rid of
23:31my small moles I got a consult from a dermatologist they wanted 600 to treat them
23:37and that's the thing is that once you've done a ton of research and you decide on a pen that
23:43works for you that you feel is safe and within your budget if you're going to use it for a lot
23:48of different things like I plan to use it on my chest neck face eyelids hands and those treatments
23:54add up you know hands maybe six or eight hundred dollars your eyelids maybe five or six hundred
23:59dollars your neck because it's a larger area maybe twelve hundred dollars so if you're planning on
24:04treating a lot of areas the chest is a large area that could be a thousand dollars up to 1500
24:09if you're planning on treating a lot of areas plus you have maybe a mole or a skin tag or
24:15um you know other things that you want to treat with it it will pay for itself pretty quickly
24:21um and and you know so I think that's why another reason I've drug my feet I don't want to damage my
24:26skin but I also know that if I'm going to invest in a tool I want to use it regularly I want to
24:32get my money out of it and I want to be happy with the results so that's kind of my mindset
24:38um but like everybody I'm a you guys I went to the thrift store today with my daughter I'm like
24:43the cheapest person you will ever meet I would say 75 percent of my clothes are for from the
24:48thrift store or a consignment store I just am very uh frugal that way and I love to scavenger
24:55for good deals and high-end clothes at really cheap prices and you know that's just it's a
24:59thrill of the hunt and the same way with skincare stuff you know once upon a time I used to think
25:05that you had to spend a lot on medical grade skincare until the aesthetician in me kicked
25:11my mind was like why am I buying into this when I'm looking at the ingredients on
25:15this ordinary product or this timeless vitamin c product and the ingredients are sometimes better
25:22in the cheaper products so I had that same mindset with plasma pen I'm like well why would I buy a
25:28thousand dollar plasma pen when I can get one for 69 on ebay this is where my cheap mindset
25:35picked me in the rear end because it was a waste of 70 bucks um and so where I am usually
25:43very frugal and usually want to find the best and cheapest option there are times when you
25:49do have to spend a little bit more to get a better device uh let's see Kean is here hi Stacy
25:56I may have said that wrong I'm so I'm so sorry if I did Carol I did try a cheap amazon one too
26:02and ended up in the garbage now doing research to buy a better one this video has been very helpful
26:08for me I'm so glad you guys I don't have all the answers and I do advise you to do your own
26:12homework but look for controls look for different settings the plamon has the constant and pulse
26:19the plaxel has a few more settings than that and also make sure that there's a dial or some kind of
26:27way to adjust the intensity those would be the things I would say the most also look for a
26:34guarantee or certificate of authenticity those are important money back guarantees
26:39are nice because you know then the product is um one that the the ceo or the owners or the company
26:45really stands behind um and look at the terms of that guarantee um because that's so important
26:52excuse me guys I'm still dealing with this these crazy allergies Colleen says I love to go to the
26:58thrift store I am a thrift store junkie you guys I have found some of the most interesting things
27:02from my house like things that I put on this I'll have to show you guys I have another channel
27:07about it's called the cozy home there's I have no subscribers I've done nothing with it but I
27:11so want to do it because I have so many neat things around my house that I've thrifted
27:15um I love it so much uh Amy says yes I love thrift stores I also buy and sell
27:21self-consignment yes yeah you know what I mean I just I don't know my daughter Bella and I know
27:26Abby she's not so much as I'm the patience for it but for Bella and I it's like the thrill of the
27:31hunt and she found an actual hand carved wooden um plant hanger with you know it has the the
27:39it hangs from the ceiling so it has like rope uh holding it but it's an actual like hand carved
27:45wood plant holder and she is all about her plants and kind of into this bohemian like decor so that
27:52is right up her alley it was beautiful she got it for 10 bucks like that would be something that
27:57hand carve would sell for probably a hundred so she was super thrilled um
28:03can haha it's more like ian with a k kian is that right okay I hope I got that right you guys I have
28:12been can I have been struggling with that name forever one of these days I'm gonna nail it
28:17me and my pronunciation it's terrible um let's see kian I made a jackfruit and chickpea curry
28:25today was my first time trying jackfruit I haven't tried jackfruit either it's such a great
28:30meal up meat alternative is it really okay I would not have thought that I could definitely give up
28:36chicken and stick with jackfruit I'm gonna have to try that now so it turned out well I love a
28:41good curry I'm doing keto you guys if you haven't followed my keto journey I'm sharing that over on
28:46gorgeously aging I'm down like 13 and a half pounds I've been so um really diligent and really
28:53focused because I got to a point where I was like all that covid weight and stuck with me and I felt
28:58lazy and I just didn't feel like myself I just felt like you know I was just blah you guys I
29:03hope you can relate to that feeling I was just like wow I don't like myself right now and I'm
29:08feeling so good and I think the thing is is I finally got to that I've had enough point and so
29:13that's why I've given up alcohol completely and um doing you know keto I'm being a little flexible
29:20with my carb allowance on some days but I always remain in ketosis and I'm tracking my ketones with
29:27a ketone meter and my blood sugar daily which has been so enlightening because yeah I mean I think
29:34it was getting to be almost if I hadn't caught myself when I did and gotten on keto and really
29:39sorted things out I think I was starting to get borderline like pre-diabetic because my morning
29:44fasting blood sugars were higher than they needed to be but I'm getting off the topic of plasma
29:49fibroblasts but Kian mentioned the curry so I had to give you guys an update on that but I'm sharing
29:55my keto and diet journey as well as my no drinking journey over at Gorgeously Aging so if you're
30:01interested in those updates you can catch those over there. Kian says a lot of people use it as
30:06pulled pork I would have never guessed that jackfruit that's crazy grape fiber too you'd
30:13never think it was actually a fruit so is it in a round ball Kian and is it like what is the
30:19texture well if people use it for pulled pork I'm just gonna have to get a jackfruit now and try it
30:25you have piqued my interest and I'm sure I'll have to look at like the carbs on that I'm sure I could
30:30work it into my keto diet because I am eating some vegetables and stuff um that is so interesting I
30:36would not have thought of uh jackfruit as a meat alternative you have enlightened me okay you guys
30:43thank you so much for being here I hope today's video let me know in the comments if there was a
30:47lot of glitching um we are trying so hard we had fiber back in our old house in Wisconsin and then
30:53we moved here for my daughter's ski training and we're in the mountains the internet here is
30:58absolute garbage we have the best internet that we can possibly get and it is nowhere close to
31:04the internet that we had before and I mean one of the sacrifices you make moving to the mountains
31:08into a more rural area um is the internet issue but it's such a bummer let's see Kian what are the
31:15benefits of keto congratulations on giving up alcohol and losing weight amazing achievement
31:20thank you thank you so keto um no for me I chose keto um and I'll adjust my carbs later right now
31:26I'm staying around 30 to 40 grams of carbs which is pretty low because the average American diet
31:32people get 150 200 grams of carbs but in ketosis your body depletes its stores of glycogen and
31:39glycogen and sugar and you start burning your own fat uh for fuel essentially and um it should be
31:46your energy level should be more stable it also helps with insulin resistance which I think I was
31:50starting to get a little bit of an issue there I have a family history of diabetes so it was
31:55something on my radar but um so if you have insulin resistance if you have some belly fat if you're
32:01getting older um doing a low carb or ketogenic diet can help with insulin resistance and um you
32:08know I just needed to be able to feel like more of a stable amount of energy I was really high
32:15and low mostly low so that was kind of my motivation I've been successful on keto in the
32:20past it pushes me to eat more salads and vegetables and um I'm not I know a lot of people on keto and
32:29carnivore like some people on keto it's all about the bacon and steaks and for me it's about the
32:33healthy fats uh healthy meats and you know I don't go overboard on the on the I don't know red meat
32:41and unhealthy fat so I'm focusing on the healthy aspects of keto um and there's a lot of different
32:48kind of keto so for me this is kind of it's also helping my autoimmune disease and it has in the
32:52past so that's kind of my the reason why so that was thank you for asking that question you guys
32:58uh Colleen says keto is good for diabetes and can um you can get thin jack thin jackfruit they sell
33:08it on Amazon too really okay I'm a big Amazon shopper and Weight Watchers is more healthy
33:15Colleen says I've done Weight Watchers and actually once upon a time my mom lost like 75
33:20to 100 pounds on Weight Watchers it was insane she lost a ton of weight and I think it's more varied
33:25you know you can eat anything you just got to track it um and I don't you know I'm not against
33:31Weight Watchers at all I actually think statistically it's the most successful weight
33:34loss plan if I'm not if that was once upon a time I don't know if that's still true
33:39but um you know I know a lot of people that do so well on it I think that at some point when I
33:46reach my goal weight I'll start to reintroduce carbs but I have to be very careful because with
33:50autoimmune disease it's important not to have gluten so that really takes that really eliminates
33:55a lot of carbohydrates so I think that's another reason why keto works good for me because it you
34:01know it eliminates gluten pretty much entirely it does eliminate gluten entirely um so I think
34:08for people that are that don't have autoimmune disease or don't have intolerance to gluten um
34:13you know and stuff that that Weight Watchers is a really great option you guys I think I've tried
34:18so many diets Jimmy Craig Weight Watchers um I could go down a whole list over the last
34:23since I was a teen like a in my late teens early 20s started dieting um but keto always is really
34:31successful for me and I'm one of those that if I don't see results pretty quickly I get discouraged
34:36so that's another reason that I pick keto you guys I got away from my fiber loss talk because
34:42we always have these great conversations in the comments which I always appreciate you guys because
34:48I'm a pretty isolated person I don't know if I've told you guys before that
34:52I'm a bit of an introvert I am a homebody I like to be at home and so really around me I only have
34:57my family and as much as I love them it's so nice to communicate with other people and you guys are
35:03always so fun to chat with in the comments I appreciate that and I see that Amy says jackfruit
35:09is great why have I never tried this you guys this is gonna be again I'm gonna try to make a
35:14career at least get some jackfruit and experiment with it um you guys thank you so much for being
35:20here if you have used a plasma pen please let me know down in the comments and share with me what
35:27you spent on it if it's a good quality device if you're happy with it if you've used it more than
35:31once if you'll never use it again share all those details because I do think it helps people make
35:36decisions about what's right for them so you guys thanks for being with me today I will see you in
35:41my next video where we talk about the fractional use of a fibroblast pad which I think is going to
35:47be really fun to talk about so I'll see you guys in that video remember what I always say be good
35:51to yourselves and to others I will see you next time
36:11you
