00:00I'm Stacey and this is Gorgeously Aging Advanced.
00:06Thank you so much for being here with me today.
00:08If you are brand new, a special welcome.
00:10I do hope you'll subscribe to my channel and join the Gorgeously Aging community.
00:14If you've been with me for a while, sending you all virtual hugs.
00:17I am so grateful for each and every one of you going along this aging journey with me.
00:23So you guys, today is a continuation of the plasma fibroblast series.
00:27If you haven't seen that series, check it out.
00:29I do have a playlist.
00:30I will link that in the description box below for you to make it easy to find those videos.
00:35So today we're talking about the plasma lifting technique.
00:40This utilizes the ball tip on a plasma pen.
00:44Now if you don't have a ball tip on your plasma pen or don't have a plasma pen at all, I do
00:49have a few recommendations.
00:51So today I'm going to be showing you both the ball tip on the Plymon pen and on the
00:56Plaxel Plus.
00:58Now this is a much smaller, more refined ball tip and we're going to use this to do a neck
01:05treatment.
01:06So you can use this on any part of the body really to get some lift and to induce collagen.
01:14In general, plasma has a very skin tightening type of response.
01:19A lot of people will use it in their upper eyelids.
01:22I will be doing that in one of my coming videos.
01:26So stay tuned if you want to see an upper eyelid tightening treatment with a plasma
01:31pen.
01:32Now regardless of the pen that you have, and I do have a video talking about what to look
01:36for in a plasma pen, this treatment can be done providing you have a ball tip.
01:42So we're going to talk a little bit about the steps here, which are pretty straightforward.
01:47We're going to, which I've already done, insert the ball tip.
01:51And how this is done on most plasma pens is you loosen up this tart here.
01:55I do want to show you that the, hold on just a second here, I got to get this unscrewed.
02:04The collet, this part that holds the tip goes in first and then the gasket part that holds
02:12that on, then you put your ball tip in and then tighten it up.
02:18So now it is tight and it won't fall out.
02:22So that's the first step.
02:23Then we're going to put it on pulse mode on the Plymon.
02:26It has a P and a C and on the Plaxel Plus, it's more digital, this is a more medical
02:33grade device.
02:34I really do prefer the Plaxel Plus, but the Plymon, I like the bigger head on the round
02:39tip.
02:42Now the smaller round head that comes with or tip that comes with the Plaxel Plus is
02:47great for really fine lines and really detailed work.
02:50So we're going to use them both.
02:52So most of the plasma pens are pretty universal on how you attach the tip.
02:57So the output is one through five and on the Plymon, it goes up to nine.
03:04So you don't want to exceed the recommended output because it can create irritation and
03:08damage.
03:10You also want to have a clean skin, so you can double cleanse your skin.
03:14I went ahead and double cleansed my neck and as a general rule, you'll see people applying
03:19alcohol, but we're dealing with heat and plasma arc and I just don't necessarily think
03:24alcohol is necessary if you do a really good job cleansing.
03:29So there are three techniques to be used with the plasma lifting technique.
03:33That is the dragging.
03:35So dragging is just running it across or you could drag it up and down too, but it's just
03:41a straight dragging.
03:43Then we have the tapping, which would be a lot like when you have a needle tip, you're
03:46just going to tap, tap, tap.
03:48You do feel the little zap of the plasma, but you don't, you aren't left with the carbon
03:54crust.
03:55So this type of treatment gives you some collagen induction without the downtime of those little
04:00scabs.
04:01Now, does it produce as much collagen?
04:04Probably not, but it's still a fantastic service.
04:07You can do it more regularly and you don't have the downtime aside from maybe a little
04:12redness.
04:13Now the brushing is kind of more doing kind of an arc brushing.
04:18This would be great for around the eyes.
04:21So today I'm not treating the face, but certainly you can use any of these techniques around
04:26the eyes.
04:27I would do more of the brushing or the tapping so you can stimulate some collagen without
04:32those crusts.
04:34So I think that's fantastic and a lot of times we don't see how these other tools can be
04:39used to give us some anti-aging benefits.
04:43So we talked about all three of the techniques.
04:47So I'm going to go ahead and since I touched my face, which has makeup on it, I am going
04:51to clean off the tip of my pen and dry it thoroughly.
05:02And if you guys are here with me, feel free to comment in the comment section below.
05:05I will pop over there in a little while.
05:07So I'm going to do a neck treatment here.
05:10And I'm going to start out with the Plamon.
05:11It's on P. I'm going to turn it on to five.
05:15So I'm going to start with this necklace line that I have right here.
05:19And we're going to start out with the dragging technique, dragging it along.
05:26Now you feel a slight sensation, but not too bad.
05:29Let's do the tapping.
05:31I feel that a little bit more on the tapping and yeah, there's a little zap, but it's not
05:41too bad.
05:43And then of course I want to do my whole neck.
05:45So I was just showing you what you can do with the necklace line.
05:49Now you don't want to do this more than five cycles.
05:51So going across it once, wait for a second, go ahead and cross it again.
05:55You don't want to repeat it more than five times.
05:57That can be excessive and cause damage.
05:59You guys, I'm going to go to the Plaxol Plus.
06:02I've got this set up on P for pulse.
06:04It doesn't go more than three.
06:05This is a little bit stronger device and I'm going to, yeah, you definitely feel this one
06:14a little bit, a little bit more.
06:16And I do like the small tip for more precision work, especially if you're going to do around
06:23like the crow's feet.
06:25Yeah, a little zap, zap, zap there.
06:28And you can run it across.
06:32And I didn't use any topical lidocaine and it's tolerable.
06:37Now if you're extremely sensitive, maybe a little bit of topical lidocaine, but this
06:40is nowhere near as uncomfortable as when you use a needle tip and you get those carbon
06:48cross and you get a true plasma arc.
06:51It's like a mini torch and that definitely requires a little bit of topical lidocaine.
06:59So I do feel like the Plaxol Plus is, you know, it does feel like a more substantial
07:05device.
07:06It does feel, I feel more with this device than I do with the Plymon, which I think is
07:10a good device too, but they're just different.
07:13So I'm going to go back to the Plymon and I'm just going to go up and down my neck.
07:21Yeah, a little zappiness.
07:25I want to see how it feels on the C setting.
07:33It helps when you hold down the plunger, you guys.
07:37Or the, not the plunger, the little button.
07:41Okay.
07:45So I'm just going up and down a little zappiness, sometimes more in some spots than others.
07:51Definitely, you get that smell, that heat smell.
07:58And, you know, the up and down using the dragging technique makes quick work of larger areas
08:07for sure.
08:10And you could also do kind of like the traditional plasma treatment where you do the dot, dot,
08:18but without the carbon cross.
08:21So I'm definitely still feeling this and smelling this.
08:26It's not quite as painful as the needle tip.
08:31It does give you that burning skin smell, which is never pleasant, but that is part
08:37of a fibroblast treatment.
08:40Now, remember, I have not used any topical lidocaine.
08:43So, you know, if you are super sensitive, you could do a little topical lidocaine.
08:50And you can combine these techniques, the dragging, the tapping, and the brushing.
09:01Okay, I'm going to do one more pass.
09:04Now, if you do two or three passes and you don't feel like you want to go up to five
09:08cycles, you can definitely not do a full five and just stop wherever your skin tells
09:15you it needs to stop.
09:18It's getting a little bit red.
09:21And I find when you don't press, you can touch the skin with this, where with a needle tip,
09:26you want to stay about a millimeter or so away from the skin with this, you can touch
09:29your skin.
09:30But I find when you hold it away a little bit, you actually feel that plasma a bit more.
09:38So the only thing I would say I dislike about this treatment is the smell, because it does
09:44have that kind of yucky burning skin smell.
09:48And it's not burning.
09:50Where I'm really excited to use this is through the jawline.
09:53And I'll do that in an upcoming treatment.
09:56So you guys, I wanted to show you very quickly.
09:58And I'm going to go over to the Plaxil here.
10:01And I'm going to go over that necklace line again, because I would really like to get
10:05that to build a little more collagen in there.
10:08I don't know if you can hear it, but it makes that zap zap sound.
10:14If I could build some more collagen into this line, that would be great.
10:21Okay, so I wanted to show you without this video getting really long, you do not have
10:26to put any kind of conductivity gel, you certainly could try it.
10:29But you can do this lifting technique on dry, clean skin.
10:34If you feel like you might get better results using some type of hyaluronic gel or conductivity
10:38gel, certainly give that a try.
10:40It isn't going to hurt anything to do that.
10:42I actually find I feel the plasma more.
10:45I feel that zappingness of the plasma more without the conductivity gel.
10:49So that may be a personal preference on my part.
10:52But it does say specifically in the instruction for the plasma lifting technique that you
10:57do not have to use conductivity gel.
10:59Every pen may have different instructions.
11:02So certainly look at the instructions for your pen.
11:05But don't be afraid to deviate a little bit from that and try some new techniques.
11:10So if it's recommending you use a gel, try it with a gel.
11:12And if it's recommending that you don't, maybe also, you know, try it, try it both
11:17ways to see what works best for you.
11:20What I love about this is you could probably do this treatment weekly, no downtime, great
11:25for summer, you still want to as far as aftercare, be cautious in the sun.
11:30I mean, you don't have to completely hide as much as you do with the little crust from
11:35a traditional type of plasma sculpt treatment.
11:38But you still want to be mindful of the sun.
11:41I'm going to use a little aloe vera gel because it's soothing after a plasma treatment.
11:48And then I like to keep it hydrated with a little bit of the avene sickle fate, which
11:53I love so much.
11:54And I will list that in the description box below.
11:57So this is one of the things I am really excited about the fractional tip.
12:02And of course, the ball tip, both the larger ball tip from the plum on and the more small
12:08detailed tip that comes with the Plexo Plus, you can really use those in so many ways,
12:13backs of hands, neck, chest, your crow's feet, forehead wrinkles.
12:18You know, I'm looking forward to using in this area where I have a little bit of aging
12:23showing here, jawline, see if I can get some tightening without having to have that downtime
12:29of the carbon crust.
12:30I'm not against that.
12:31I'm just right now, it's not going to work into my lifestyle.
12:34But soon I will do an upper eyelid lift and use the regular needle tip and do the little
12:40dots that produce the carbon crust.
12:43So I'm going to pop over to comments and see who's here with me today.
12:48You guys, if you like this video, don't forget to give it a thumbs up.
12:51That helps me so much.
12:53And let's see, Terry is here.
12:57Hi, Stacy.
12:58Hi, Terry and Carol.
12:59Hi, Stacy.
13:00Thanks for the video.
13:01Always my pleasure.
13:01You guys, Glenn is here.
13:03Evening.
13:04Glenn, you are in the UK, I think, right?
13:07So a little bit of time difference there.
13:10Terry, your under eyes are looking amazing.
13:13Thank you so much, you guys.
13:14And this ball tip on both the plum on and Plexo, the Plexo is a little smaller.
13:19It's something that I'm going to use under my eyes just to stimulate collagen there.
13:24I think it's going to be a great treatment for that area.
13:28Patricia is here and I don't understand the language.
13:34I'm sorry.
13:35I wish I did.
13:35I'm thinking this is French that you're speaking.
13:39I'm so sorry, Patricia.
13:41And Manny is here.
13:42Thanks, Stacy.
13:44Anissa, did you numb?
13:45I did not numb.
13:47Certainly someone could, but this treatment is not nearly as painful as using the needle tip
13:51where you get the carbon crust and you get a true plasma arc.
13:55It's a little zappy.
13:56So if you're sensitive, maybe a little topical lidocaine, but I did not use anything.
14:00That's another thing I love about it is that you can wash the area really well,
14:05let it dry and just go right in with the treatment.
14:07No time wasted doing topical lidocaine.
14:10Terry says it feels like it's having an immediate effect.
14:15It could because sometimes fibroblast does have an immediate tightening.
14:21So you see the true results, you know, after about a week or so,
14:24but that initial kind of wound or reaction of tightening
14:30sometimes isn't the final tightening effect.
14:33But this treatment isn't quite the same as producing those carbon crusts
14:38where you get an initial reaction because there's evaporation from the plasma arc.
14:43And then people will sometimes say it was really tight at the beginning
14:46and then it wasn't as tight once it fully healed.
14:48This may be different.
14:49You may get the true results right up front
14:51because you're not creating that carbon crust.
14:53You're not really having any of the tightening
14:55as a result of evaporation from a true plasma arc.
14:59So yeah, I mean, I'm going to keep doing it.
15:02I have this one necklace line that's pretty prominent, I think.
15:06And of course, watch your thyroid area.
15:08You guys can see I have a scar because I had thyroid cancer.
15:11So I don't have a thyroid.
15:12And it doesn't hurt to do it a little bit over the thyroid.
15:15You just don't want to have prolonged heat
15:17or, you know, treatment right over the thyroid.
15:20If you graze the thyroid or go over it gently,
15:23and it's superficial on the skin, it'll be fine.
15:27But definitely keep in mind that thyroid is an important organ.
15:30So you want to be safe around that.
15:32If you're nervous about it, completely avoid that thyroid area,
15:35which is right in here.
15:37But get all the lines, you know, above and around.
15:39And, you know, just be cautious of that area.
15:43You guys, of course, this is not medical advice or instruction.
15:46You guys, I'm sharing my journey.
15:48This is a pretty safe treatment.
15:49But you definitely want to research.
15:52And just a point to make, you guys,
15:55let me get back to my overlays,
15:57is that the pen I have, the Plexo Plus,
16:01came from plasmaperfecting.com.
16:05And they offer a free certificate with purchase.
16:07And it was Stacy 100, got you $100 off for this month.
16:12We're in August 2022 right now.
16:14So if you're watching this later, this deal may not be available.
16:18But they're offering, the owner reached out and said $500 off.
16:22So if you use the code Stacy 100, you can get $500 off.
16:27The Plexo Plus is one I recommend.
16:29But look at other pens on that site.
16:31Everything she has there is really high quality.
16:34They have the Plamon, the Plamere, and a few other options as well.
16:38So definitely check that out.
16:39You know, of course, no pressure.
16:40I just wanted to share that for those of you who want a big discount
16:44but also want to go through that certification course
16:47because there's a free certification with a purchase from Plasma Perfecting.
16:52So that's a really great option.
16:53And I know they don't run discounts like that very, very often.
16:57But she did reach out to me and she loves the series that I'm doing
17:00and said she wanted to provide a discount to anybody who's interested.
17:05So there's that bit of information for you guys.
17:09Um, you know, I want to get back to comments because I don't want to miss anybody.
17:14Um, always the best videos.
17:16Thank you, Stacy.
17:16You're so welcome, you guys.
17:17I try to give you good information and I try to keep it short and concise.
17:22So I hope it is helpful.
17:23You guys don't forget to give it a thumbs up if you like this video.
17:26That means so much to me.
17:28And, um, can you do this procedure along with other skincare?
17:33Yeah, so tonight if my neck is still a little red or a little bit sensitive,
17:37I'll probably skip any strong actives.
17:40I'll keep it hydrated.
17:41So this type of procedure, as well as defractional,
17:46really after a couple of days, you can resume your normal skincare.
17:50There's only some mild sensitivity on the surface of the skin
17:53where when you do the traditional plasma fibroblast
17:57that you use the needlehead and you get those carbon crusts.
18:00There is a week or two of post care where you have some downtime
18:04and you can't use strong active ingredients.
18:07So that's always something to consider.
18:09You really want to plan those types of procedures with the needle tip
18:13and the full plasma arc and the carbon crust around some
18:18where you have the flexibility of some downtime.
18:21So these, I feel like after two days,
18:23you can go right back to your normal skincare routine.
18:25I do think sunscreen and hydration are important, both drinking water,
18:29but hydrating with a little aloe vera gel and a nice topical type of cream.
18:35Again, I use the Avene Sickle Fake, but there are lots of other options.
18:39That is one that's tried and true for me,
18:41and it always helps speed up the healing after any type of treatment.
18:45Now, there's not a lot of healing from this
18:46because it's not ablative.
18:48It doesn't open up the skin at all.
18:51So it really does kind of heal up fast.
18:53It's really that surface redness and a tiny bit of tenderness,
18:56but you do get some skin tightening.
18:58And the more consistent you are with doing these treatments,
19:02the better the result.
19:03So like anything, if you go to the gym once,
19:06you're not going to see much results.
19:07But if you go to the gym on a regular basis,
19:10you will see the results over time.
19:12So I think that's true of most skincare,
19:15whether it be just a nightly skincare routine or using devices
19:19that if you are on a good routine and there's consistency,
19:23you start to see results.
19:25You guys, thank you so much for being here.
19:28I really appreciate your questions when you pop into the lives.
19:31And if you join in late and you see this later,
19:34feel free to comment in the comment section below.
19:37It's where we kind of come together and share ideas
19:40and hear about each other's experiences with plasma pens
19:44or whatever it is I'm talking about in the video.
19:47So if you've used either of these pens that I showcased today
19:50or tried the ball tip,
19:51let us know what your experience was,
19:53if you enjoyed it,
19:54and if you're getting the results you hope for.
19:57I always love to hear you guys' honest feedback.
20:00Thank you so much for joining me, you guys.
20:02I love and appreciate you all.
20:04I will see you in my next video.
