00:00We went to the Ministry of Energy, which reported that until the first semester of 2024,
00:05the use of new and renewable energy in Indonesia has only reached 13.93% of the total national energy consumption.
00:11However, until August, there was an increase in the capacity of electric power plants, reaching 241 megawatts.
00:22The Director General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, or EBTKE,
00:26said that the use of new and renewable energy in Indonesia is only 13.93%
00:34of the total national energy consumption until the first semester of 2024.
00:39This figure is still far from the target of EBT consumption in 2025 of 23%,
00:43based on the Government Regulation No. 79 of 2014 on the national energy policy.
00:49In addition, until August 2024, there was an increase in the capacity of EBT power plants,
00:54reaching 241 megawatts.
00:57The minimum EBT consumption in the water is called ISDM due to several factors,
01:02starting from the unfulfilled investment target,
01:04the commitment to carry out the investment and development of EBT infrastructure that is still being carried out.
01:18Up to now, there are only 4 months left for the BUBBN to be ready.
01:27So, in my opinion, the BUBBN has a total of 34 industries.
01:35These 34 industries are not all active.
01:39Some of them are dead, some of them are short of feedstock, and so on.
01:45So the active ones are only 23.
01:50Nevertheless, ISDM is optimistic that the development of EBT will reach 23% by 2025,
01:55with a record of investment in EBT with an investment need target of USD 14.02 billion.
