00:00:43Tony Schiavone and Jesse, the body mentor, a lot going on here tonight.
00:00:47I'll tell you what, Tony, I'm excited.
00:00:49I'm down here in Daytona Beach, Florida.
00:00:51And it was tough to get me off the beach again.
00:00:54I've been stuck at them, Tony.
00:00:56Fans, we do have an announcement to make that Flying Brian, one out of the World Tag
00:01:00Team Champions, is injured and will not be able to compete tonight.
00:01:04We have him standing by with these pre-recorded comments.
00:01:10You can all see clearly the career-threatening injury I've sustained to my ankle.
00:01:14It literally broke my heart when the WC doctors informed me that I would not be able to compete
00:01:19tonight.
00:01:20I know how greatly disappointed the fans of WCW are not being able to see the Blondes
00:01:25tonight.
00:01:26The Blondes are at Daytona Beach, and these champions won't be clashing.
00:01:29But Arn and Roma, maybe sometime down the road we can fit you in.
00:01:34Tonight was supposed to be your big shot, and we apologize for that.
00:01:37But like I said, your time may come later.
00:01:41Well, since that injury, WCW has made an announcement and told the Hollywood Blondes
00:01:46they have to defend those World Tag Team titles tonight.
00:01:49So the Hollywood Blondes have decided to put Lord Steven Regal in Flying Brian's place.
00:01:54He tonight will become a Hollywood Blonde, and along with Stunning Steve will defend
00:01:57the World Tag Team belts.
00:01:59I'll tell you what, Tony.
00:02:00It's just another move by WCW's shyster lawyers.
00:02:04Painting the Blondes into a corner.
00:02:06You see the injury.
00:02:08Why should he have to wrestle when he's hurt?
00:02:10It's one of three title matches as we go to the ring.
00:02:14Ladies and gentlemen, the first contest on the Clash of the Champions.
00:02:19It is for the World Tag Team Championship.
00:02:24It is set for one fall.
00:02:26Introducing first the challengers.

00:03:09at the Tag Team belts.

00:03:12And ladies and gentlemen, their opponents in this match
00:03:16for the World Tag Team Championship.
00:03:20To defend the title belts,
00:03:22first we see from Hollywood, California,
00:03:25Stunning Steve and Ryan Bryan,
00:03:28the Hollywood Clods.
00:03:30I'm just the Hollywood Clods.
00:03:32You can't do this.

00:03:45There you see Lord Steven Regal
00:03:48with that World Tag Team belt on.
00:03:52And he tonight will be one half of the World Tag Team Champions
00:03:56as I guess the British aristocrat
00:03:59just becomes a Hollywood Blonde here tonight.
00:04:01Well, I'll tell you what.
00:04:03Not taking anything away from Lord Steven Regal.
00:04:06Probably the finest scientific wrestler WCW's ever seen.
00:04:11But it's not fair, Tony.
00:04:13The Hollywood Blondes are a team.
00:04:15They're the Tag Team Champions of the world.
00:04:17Flyin' Bryan is hurt.
00:04:19There's no doubt about it.
00:04:20He can't get into the ring.
00:04:22He can't even put a boot on.
00:04:24And these shyster lawyers in WCW,
00:04:27I'd like to know who pulled this one off,
00:04:29making them defend again against the Horsemen.
00:04:32How many times do they have to beat him?
00:04:34Well, how many times have we seen Flyin' Bryan
00:04:37fade an injury just to get an advantage?
00:04:41So it's backfired on him tonight.
00:04:44This injury had to have a CAT scan on that ankle.
00:04:48We do understand it's some torn ligaments in the ankle.
00:04:51He injured it the other night in competition.
00:04:54And now it will be Lord Steven Regal
00:04:57and Stunning Steve.
00:04:59And certainly the team now that has the advantage
00:05:03as far as teamwork is concerned
00:05:05is the Hollywood Blonde, making the four Horsemen.
00:05:10But also, speaking of four,
00:05:12you got Flyin' Bryan with a crutch on the outside
00:05:15that can be used as a weapon.
00:05:18And you have Sir William with his umbrella.
00:05:21So really, the Horsemen still have their backs
00:05:24against the wall here, Jess.

00:06:10And that really took him down.
00:06:13And Stunning Steve now taking the early advantage here.
00:06:16And look at Lord Steven is very pleased on the apron

00:06:26with a beautiful looking clothesline.
00:06:28He's stunned the enforcer.
00:06:30And now the advantage has shifted early
00:06:32to I guess I gotta call him the Hollywood Blondes.

00:07:34when he should be looking at the action in the ring?

00:07:38and he was not the legal man.
00:07:39The referee was sending him on the outside.
00:07:41And now, speaking of being on the outside,
00:07:45Anderson, left hand blow.
00:07:47Oh, he hit the safety rail and Regal.

00:07:54Stunning Steve has been in the entire time,
00:07:56as has Arne Anderson.
00:07:57And now a tag is made,
00:07:59and Lord Steven Regal comes in.

00:08:27who has not broken a rule, I might add, Tony.

00:08:39Five close fist punches to the head.
00:08:42Well, give him a chance.
00:08:43He's only been in about 20 seconds or so.

00:08:52And Roma again with a hard slam.
00:08:54Catches Lord Steven with a drop kick.

00:09:04This time it's Lord Steven Regal with the advantage.
00:09:07Notice, Tony, how Lord Steven's trying to wrestle this match
00:09:10and Roma's trying to turn it into a street fight.

00:09:15That was Stunning Steve tripping him up on the outside.
00:09:19Roma had the clear advantage,
00:09:21but speaking of breaking the rules,
00:09:23there's a need to the midsection.
00:09:24And now this Hollywood blonde team, so to speak,
00:09:28double teaming with perfection here, Jesse Ventura.
00:09:35Now you see Stunning Steve laying in the big forearm.
00:09:37They got Roma cut off now,
00:09:39and that's what the champions need to do.
00:09:44You know, it just don't ring right,
00:09:45saying the champions and not seeing Flying Brian
00:09:48in the corner of the ring.
00:09:49We're seeing Flying Brian in the corner of Stunning Steve.
00:09:53Good looking suplex there, Tony.
00:09:55Well, Flying Brian is there.
00:09:56You see him down on the apron.
00:09:58He's taking some shots now with that camera of his.
00:10:05Oh, and he gets involved as we knew he would.
00:10:09Pulling on the throat.
00:10:13But as with the earlier disqualification
00:10:16that Arne Anderson pulled, the referee didn't see it.

00:10:23I don't know what Anderson's griping about
00:10:25after what he got away with earlier in the bout.

00:10:33from the blondes, Lord Steven Regal.

00:10:41Right down to the midsection goes Regal, and Regal now.
00:10:45Whoa, and a beautiful, made famous by Edouard Carpentier,
00:10:48that move right there, Tony Schiavone.
00:10:52A somersault, and now back into the neutral corner.
00:10:56If you happen to join us late, Flying Brian has an injury.
00:11:00He said at the top of the program in an interview
00:11:02that the blondes would not be able to compete.
00:11:04Here's a cover, a two count.
00:11:07But WCW came back to the blondes saying,
00:11:09oh yeah you do, you gotta defend the tag team belts tonight.
00:11:12Therefore the Hollywood blondes chose Lord Steven Regal
00:11:15to replace Flying Brian, who is a ringside on crutches
00:11:18with an ankle injury, and who has certainly been involved
00:11:22in this match.
00:11:24And a reversal by Roma, and he jams Stunning Steve's head
00:11:28into the buckle, blocks the punch, another right hand.
00:11:31And if there's one thing Roma can do,
00:11:33that's throw the closed fist.
00:11:39Into the midsection.
00:11:43One, two, no sir, he got out of it in two.
00:11:47Hypothetically, let's look at a situation here, Tony.
00:11:50All right.
00:11:51Let's say Stunning Steve and Lord Steven win tonight.
00:11:56You're the man that knows all this.
00:11:58How quick then will a Four Horsemen rematch be signed?

00:12:48because of the enforcer, Arn Anderson, could not get the three count.
00:12:53In that case, Arn Anderson let the guys outside the ring get to him.
00:12:57But boy, did he just get to Stunning Steve with a big left hand.

00:13:08I mean, the fans here are going wild, and we are in the first match,
00:13:12one of three title matches tonight here on TBS.
00:13:21That's a version of the Stunning Steve stun gun.

00:13:31And the referee letting Lord Steven know that.

00:16:29Willing and ready to adapt at any given time or moment.
00:16:32You know, there are a lot of people that said in the beginning that
00:16:35Paul Roma doesn't have what it takes to be a horseman.
00:16:37But this man right here, he believed in me.
00:16:40And that's all it took.
00:16:42And tonight, this is what it means to be a horseman.
00:16:45And I'm proud to call myself one.

00:43:11mr. wonderful will actually rest a little bit this type of hold he'll lead his weight on the
00:43:16dragon and the dragon will get wore out this is a wear out hold here Tony the wear out holes applied
00:43:24Steembaal sends Arndorf in Steembaal great elevation that time Arndorf picks him up slams

00:43:37combination hooking the arm and hooking the leg as well you notice to Tony mr. wonderful is not
