00:01:18The biggest night in WCW history, because tonight the titles will be unified and tonight
00:01:25Hulk Hogan arrives in WCW.
00:01:27Hi everybody, Tony Schiavone, Bobby the Brain Heenan, me and Gene Oakley with you.
00:01:32Our entire broadcast team is here including Jesse the Body Ventura.
00:01:36But Brain, tonight two titles, two champions.

00:01:43There will only be one heavyweight champion of the world.
00:01:46There are so many people lining up for a match with that one and only champion.

00:28:37Lord Steven Riggle, who still has that get-up on.
00:28:40Is he gonna wrestle in this coat and patterned wig?
00:28:42This is not a get-up, Tony Schiavone.
00:28:44This is history.
00:28:45Yeah.
00:28:46This is history.
00:28:47His uncle, great-great-uncle Rupert,
00:28:50fought against George Washington.
00:28:53Well, this is Charleston, South Carolina.
00:28:55If you think more about Civil War history
00:28:57than you do the Revolutionary War history,
00:28:59so he can peel that off and get down to wrestling here.
00:29:03He's gonna wrestle in this.
00:29:07They're just not showing any respect for his lordship.
00:29:10Well, I wonder why.
00:29:11You wonder why.
00:29:13You know, this all began.
00:29:14Don't you kind of like the three little curls in the back?
00:29:17I guess, yeah, I guess I do.

00:29:30And then that began verbal attacks weekly.
00:29:33Well, on to Zabisko by Lord Steven Riggle.
00:29:36I'm really divided in this match, Tony.
00:29:39I'm gonna have a tough time calling this match
00:29:41because I respect Lord Steven Riggle very much
00:29:44and his wrestling ability and his entire persona.
00:29:47But as everybody knows, the living legend Larry Zabisko and I
00:29:51are the WCW Golf Champions.
00:29:54So I've, you know, we wasted Bob Dew,
00:29:57left him laying and crying down in Orlando on the golf course.
00:30:00So it's gonna be a tough match for me to call,
00:30:03but I'll do it right down the middle.
00:30:05Speaking of leaving someone laying,
00:30:07after Riggle verbally abused Zabisko for weeks,
00:30:13Zabisko finally walked out on an interview.
00:30:15I remember that very well.
00:30:16That's right.
00:30:17They have it on WCW Pro every Saturday morning at 9.05 here on TBS.
00:30:23Then Riggle demanded an apology.
00:30:25Zabisko came out on Saturday night.
00:30:27Dick Sir William ripped off the clothes of Riggle.
00:30:30He demanded a match at Slamboree.
00:30:32Zabisko won that match, earned him a television title shot,
00:30:35and won that right here on TBS.
00:30:37Now his title defense and Riggle wasting no time.
00:30:41Well, Riggle got the jump on the living legend Larry Zabisko.
00:30:44I'm kind of surprised a veteran like Zabisko would allow that to happen.
00:30:49But Larry Zabisko in big trouble.
00:30:51Riggle with the European uppercuts has Larry on rubber legs in the corner.
00:30:56Zabisko has to find his way out of this one, Tony.
00:31:00I've asked the question I asked in the first match.
00:31:03We asked at the top of the program,
00:31:04who is Sherry going to pick as her man?
00:31:07Apparently it wasn't any of the Nasty Boys.
00:31:09It wasn't Kevin or Cactus.
00:31:11Maybe we're going to see her come out here possibly to pick Riggle or pick Zabisko.
00:31:15Well, I see no sign of her right now.
00:31:17And again, Lord Stephen Riggle working over,
00:31:20drives a head into the solar plexus.
00:31:22Another big uppercut drops Zabisko flat on his back.
00:31:27There's the two count, but he's into the rubs.
00:31:30Randy Anderson, you hear him say, break the hold.
00:31:33Riggle, who originally won the television title from Steamboat
00:31:36back on September 19th of last year at the First Fall Brawl in Houston, Texas,
00:31:41home of the NBA champion Houston Rockets.
00:31:44Zabisko has had many titles,
00:31:46including the last Western States Heritage Championship back in 1988.
00:31:51He retired that belt.
00:31:52And look at this. Look at this.
00:31:54Lord Stephen is lecturing Larry Zabisko as he slaps him in the face.
00:32:04Zabisko mounting a comeback, absorbing the blows.
00:32:08Back and forth they go.
00:32:09And here comes Larry Zabisko.
00:32:15Big four-line Zabisko in the corner.
00:32:19Combination blows. A rake to the eyes.
00:32:22And I'll tell you what, Tony.
00:32:24Oh, and over the top right onto the platform.
00:32:27The referee was talking to Sir William,
00:32:29or that would have been a disqualification.
00:32:31I'll tell you something about Larry Zabisko.
00:32:33He likes to wrestle, and he will wrestle.
00:32:36But if you want to fight, Larry Zabisko will fight with you, too.
00:32:41And Lord Stephen's getting a dose of his own medicine.
00:32:44Whoa, and Zabisko fires him back in the hard way.
00:32:50He walked into it, though.
00:32:51Regal single-leg takedown.
00:32:54And steps right on the face of Larry Zabisko.
00:32:57The match is worth a television title,
00:32:59and it's been quite a fight so far.
00:33:04I think the brawl benefits Zabisko.
00:33:07A wrestling match obviously benefits
00:33:09the former champion, Lord Stephen Regal.
00:33:11Oh, and Zabisko counters it and falls back.
00:33:16He almost got a three on that one.
00:33:21Forearm shot. Back and forth they go.
00:33:24You know, both of these guys are tremendous wrestlers,
00:33:26but they're all up with a suplex.
00:33:28But there's such hate and animosity between them.
00:33:31They're throwing wrestling out.
00:33:33They're working in a few wrestling moves,
00:33:35but they're also just plain fighting.
00:33:37Now Zabisko maybe going for a piledriver here.
00:33:40That's what he's got. He got it.
00:33:42Could be over. This is it.
00:33:45He covers him.
00:33:47Regal got the left shoulder up barely.
00:33:49Zabisko thought it was over.
00:33:52Now a chokehold.
00:33:54I thought it was over, too.
00:33:57But Regal somehow got the left shoulder up.
00:34:01Great determination by the former champion.
00:34:03Swinging neckbreaker.
00:34:05And look at... This could be it.
00:34:07And again a two count by the living legend Larry Zabisko.
00:34:11Zabisko who has continually worked now on the upper part of the body.
