00:01:29former friend is on the other side as we await this gigantic six-man,

00:01:33what can only be termed as a grudge match.

00:01:36Hogan, it's very simple.

00:01:40You turned your back on your good friend.

00:01:43All your life you've done that.

00:01:45But remember the last Clash of Champions, you went to the hospital

00:01:51because some masked man came out and used a pipe on your leg.

00:01:54That masked man is your best friend, The Butcher.

00:07:256.05 Eastern Time, on WCW Saturday night.

00:07:28So when you're the champs, it doesn't stop.

00:07:30You just gotta keep going and going against the competition, Bray.

00:07:33It keeps getting worse, you're right about that.

00:07:36But what a main event for Saturday night.

00:07:38Either of these tag teams against Colonel Parker's men is a main event.

00:07:42All right, so we're just about set to go with our opening bout.

00:07:48It's for the World Tag Team title, like Gary confetti said, and

00:07:51like we've been telling you, on WCW Saturday night and

00:07:54on the main event on Sunday, mask versus title.

00:07:58They will retain the belt, will pretty wonderful if they win.

00:08:01And of course, they will also get the mask, and

00:08:04we'll find out who the Patriot is.

00:08:06You know what I've heard about this guy, the Patriot?

00:08:09As I heard, he was involved in the Gulf War, and

00:08:12he has some radiation burns to his face.

00:08:15It might not be a great looking thing to see, but

00:08:17I'd still like to see if that story's true from the rumors I get.

00:08:20I'd like to find out who this guy is.

00:08:32The World Tag Team Champions,

00:08:34the opening bout in a jam-packed two hours of WCW action.

00:08:39Here tonight, live from the Jacksonville Kalasie Oven.

00:08:43Two teams that know each other quite well.

00:08:45Stars and Stripes won the World Tag Team Championship live here on TVS,

00:08:50on a main event, back about a month ago.

00:08:53Then they lost in Halloween Havoc, a couple of weeks later.

00:08:57It's pretty wonderful.

00:08:59I mean, it's been back and forth for the last couple of months.

00:09:02Remember last Saturday, just a week from this past Saturday,

00:09:06that match, the main event for the World Tag Title, declared a draw.

00:09:09When one member, Pretty Wonderful, had a man pinned,

00:09:12a man of Stars and Stripes had a man pinned.

00:09:14The same referee, Nick Patrick, said in each combination, we had an illegal and

00:09:18illegal man, so he considered the match a draw.

00:09:21That was really unfair for both sides, so we got kind of a return match here.

00:09:26And a lot on the line.

00:09:28You know, it doesn't help Pretty Wonderful's situation.

00:09:30All it does is make it more exciting for the fans.

00:09:32R and R, don't worry about the human eyes.

00:09:40I don't know, I don't know.

00:09:46You're not going to the dentist, either.

00:09:47Keep your head in the game, baby.

00:10:02also maybe a good strategy that Stars and Stripes, they've let Orndorff run off at

00:10:07his mouth, they've let him get irate, and they've kind of stayed in their corner

00:10:12calmly waiting on the match to begin.

00:10:15Well, there's two ways to look at that.

00:10:16Pretty Wonderful should not get unraveled.

00:10:18But then again, you want them to have that competitiveness.

00:10:21You want them to be fighting.

00:10:22You want them to be a little mad.

00:10:24I don't know, I kind of like their attitude.

00:10:26A couple of elbows, and now Paul Orndorff wasting no time,

00:10:31that high impact style that he likes.

00:10:33He is stomping away at Marcus Alexander Bagwell, the youngster, and a tag.

00:10:37Here we go.

00:10:37It's going to be probably the team with the best teamwork to come out ahead,

00:10:41who can keep that fresh man in.

00:10:44Well, that's it.

00:10:45Teamwork is going to have to pay off here.

00:10:47They're going to have to cut the ring in half, keep their man in the corner.

00:10:50And that goes for both teams.

00:10:52I've got it going pretty wonderful.

00:10:53They don't have to beat Stars and Stripes.

00:10:58Stars and Stripes have to beat Pretty Wonderful.

00:11:51I still think the man with the mask has a Southern accent.

00:12:01Well, if it is Al Gore, there's going to be a lot of Secret Service men

00:12:06who are probably going to be fired letting him sneak out and wrestle part time.

00:12:13You don't need Secret Service if you have Ming.

00:12:16Well, he doesn't have Ming.

00:12:19Finally, Pretty Wonderful knowing that the momentum is obviously with Stars and Stripes

00:12:25slowing things down here.

00:12:26A good look at the mask of the Patriot.

00:12:29Well, you see, Shivani, they've got to slow things down.

00:12:32You can't let Stars and Stripes dictate the match.

00:12:35They want an aerial match.

00:12:36They want high flying maneuvers.

00:12:38Roma, Orndorff want to keep you grounded.

00:12:41They want to keep you in the corner.

00:12:42They're the champions of the world.

00:12:43It's up to them to dictate the speed of the match.

00:12:45And if they don't, they'll be in trouble.

00:12:59The Patriot locks up with Paul Orndorff, the real veteran of this duo.

00:13:13Look at the quickness of Orndorff.

00:13:15And a little tip for tap there, and a drop toe hold.

00:13:23He stood up from a headlock and reversed it into a hammerlock takedown.

00:13:27Well, there's no doubt about it.

00:13:29He's a very powerful man.

00:13:30And he stands, what, about 6'4", 6'5"?

00:13:48And that's what Orndorff attempted to do that time.

00:13:50However, the upper body strength of the Patriot that time,

00:13:53like we talked about, just went right up in the air with him,

00:13:57holding onto that side headlock.

00:13:59Now, once again, Orndorff trying to dictate the pace here.

00:14:02I mean, look at the body on Orndorff and Roma.

00:14:04I mean, these two guys haven't been listening to Richard Simmons since.
