00:13regarding the appeal to review the results of the July 28th elections.
00:19In Argentina, the State Workers' Association announced that next month a group from the
00:23United States would take over the metal mechanics sector of Rio Tercero and then move on to
00:29other facilities.
00:33The United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees reported that at least
00:36205 of its workers were killed by Israel during the last ten months.
00:44Hello and welcome from the south, I'm Luis Alberto Matos from Televisual Studios in Havana,
00:49Cuba.
00:50We begin with the news.
00:51Venezuela's Supreme Court of Justice met with diplomatic representatives that created
00:55in the country to report on the electoral chamber's actions regarding the appeal to
00:59review the results of the July 28th elections.
01:02Supreme Court President Carrizalia RodrĂguez informed that representatives of different
01:06political parties and candidates appeared before the electoral chamber.
01:10RodrĂguez pointed out that the parties that are part of the United Democratic Platform
01:14did not present the documents requested by the electoral chamber.
01:17She also noted that former candidate Mundo González failed to appear before the court,
01:22thus being in contempt of the court.
01:24Carrizalia RodrĂguez will present a report with the investigation and warn that the National
01:27Electoral Council is the only body that can announce the results.
01:39First, we reiterate that the National Electoral Council, as the governing body and highest
01:47authority of the electoral power in the Valdivarian Republic of Venezuela, appeared in full, with
01:54all its main directors, headed by its president, Dr. Elvis Eduardo Hidrobo Amoroso, fully complying
02:03with the requirement formulated by this electoral chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, by
02:10consigning in due time and in due course all the documents related to the electoral process.
02:19The magistrate pointed out that the members of the Unitary Platform Alliance declared
02:23that they were unaware of the tally sheets that showed Mundo González as the winner.
02:30All members of the Democratic United Platform Alliance did not submit any electoral documents
02:38claiming that they do not have any kind of information related to this electoral process.
02:46In this sense, they stated that they do not have the polling station's tally sheets nor the list of witnesses.
02:57They also claimed that they did not take part in the process of transferring and safeguarding the electoral material.
03:09The Supreme Court of Justice President RodrĂguez stated that former presidential candidate Mundo
03:13González was in contempt of court after failing to appear before the court.
03:23It is hereby stated, for the record, that former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia did not attend and
03:33therefore did not comply with the subpoena disregarding with his inaction the order of this,
03:42the highest instance of the electoral contentious jurisdiction of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
03:52Consequently, he failed to deliver the tally sheets, the list of witnesses or any electoral material.
04:04In Venezuela, the declarations of the Carter Center on the electoral process are being rejected.
04:12Our correspondent Adriana Cibori has the details about this in the following material.
04:19The organization of the 39th President of the United States is not what it used to be, so say Venezuelan authorities.
04:27One thing is that the center is called Carter and another is that it has the strictness of the past.
04:33The Carter Center is directed by the George Soros officials and the current spokeswoman named Jennifer,
04:39who spoke yesterday, is a State Department employee.
04:44The Carter Center has no instrument, no capacity to say the nonsense it has said that the Venezuelan system was not the object of a cyber attack,
04:53because not only was it the object, but today it is the object of a brutal cyber attack.
05:00They have left the mark of a cyber attack.
05:07The spokesperson and head of mission was Jenny Lincoln,
05:10who declared to the press that there was no evidence of the hacking attempt suffered by the National Electoral Council
05:16in the transmission of votes, causing a delay in the delivery of results,
05:20even though investigations and pages of international and open statistical studies
05:25show that they received 30 million cybernetic attacks per minute.
05:31I did not understand the desperation to issue an opinion that harms the transparency of the Venezuelan electoral process
05:40or the Venezuelan electoral system.
05:44That's the issue.
05:47When that happens, some actions do not correspond to the doctrine of international observation,
05:58and it affects the electoral system of the countries.
06:07The organization was invited as an observer by the governing body
06:11to follow the electoral process before, during and after the presidential elections of last July 28.
06:18Mrs. Jenny Lincoln lies shamelessly.
06:20None of her words correspond to reality or Venezuelan legality ashamed to place this institution in the coup d'Ă©tat plan.
06:29In the streets of the city, a peninsula, some do not want to know about politics,
06:33others define themselves as opponents,
06:36and many are tired of the fact that the ultra-right-wing party, which had in Mundo González as its candidate,
06:42once again did not recognize its defeat, and the outbreaks of violence reappeared.
06:49It is the typical script that they have always presented in the electoral process in the last 25 years.
06:54IT is pathetic, but it is the typical script that we are used to observe.
07:00A few steps from this square, a meeting took place between the diplomatic corps accredited in the country
07:07and high government officials who reiterated that the most radical opposition seeks support from abroad
07:14to destabilize by tarnishing the electoral process in Venezuela.
07:22In Colombia, the Minister of Justice, Angela MarĂa Buitrago,
07:26referred to the planning of an assassination attempt against President Gustavo Petro
07:30and described it as an act of the utmost gravity.
07:32From the city of CĂşcuta, in the northeast of the country,
07:35where he was participating in the 20th Congress of Procedure Law of the Francisco de Paula Santander University,
07:41he referred to several issues related to the Fonade case and the planning of an attack against the head of state.
07:47Hours earlier, the Ministry of Defense linked the self-dominated Central General Staff
07:51of the Revolutionary Colombian Armed Forces' dissidents as responsible for the operation,
07:56about which it provided rigorous details.
08:08I think it's the most serious one.
08:10I didn't hear the president.
08:12I heard the minister affirming the reasons why it has been detected in several locations,
08:17and not just one and among those cases.
08:20Because the issue is the most serious one in my approach.
08:24Because I think not just undermining the top authority of the country
08:28and the signification of a democratic election as the one in this case,
08:33but what it means trying to do that.
08:36I think it's a very regrettable message in Colombia.

09:58and our prayers are with all those affected, Sousa said in a statement.

10:12Through the social media, ex-Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez
10:15expressed his deepest condolences on behalf of the nation
10:18to the government and people of Brazil.
10:20Rodriguez later on expressed his solidarity
10:22with the grief of the families and relatives of the victims.
10:31Meanwhile in Argentina,
10:32the State Workers' Association denounced that next month
10:35a group from the United States would take over the metal-mechanics sector of Rio Tercero
10:40and then move on to other facilities.
10:42A national plenary meeting held in view of the situation
10:45of the state-owned company Fabricaciones Militares
10:48determined the state of alert and permanent assembly
10:51with mobilizations against the mutation to a joint-stock company
10:54perpetrated by the government of President Javier Rey
10:57and Minister Federico Strustnegger.
10:59The association argues that it is due to the policy adjustment
11:03and dismantling carried out by the government
11:05and added that the plenary was attended by all the workers
11:08of all the productive units of Fabricaciones Militares.
11:16In Mexico, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador
11:19declared that the U.S. government continues to withhold information
11:22about the arrest of Mexican drug traffickers Ismael Mayo Zambada
11:26and Joaquín Guzmán López, son of El Chapo Guzmán.
11:29The Mexican president expressed his disagreement
11:32with the lack of cooperation from the U.S. government
11:34to clarify the circumstances surrounding the arrest of Zambada and Guzmán.
11:38LĂłpez Obrador raised a series of questions regarding the way
11:41in which both drug traffickers arrived to U.S. soil,
11:44the origin of the aircraft, and the negotiation processes.
11:47In response to this, the U.S. ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar,
11:50affirmed that Washington did not plan the capture operation.
12:03The Ecuadorian capital is the epicenter of the Quito Luz de América Festival,
12:07a visual and sound show that illuminates the main churches
12:11of the historic center. Let's see.
12:15In the historic center of the city,
12:17Quito Luz de América Festival takes place on the occasion
12:20of the first cry of independence of the country.
12:23Through the mapping technique,
12:25the city of Quito celebrates its independence
12:29Through the mapping technique,
12:31thousands of people from the capital are immersed in shapes,
12:34textures, colors and sounds projected on the facades
12:37of the most iconic churches.
12:45To recover the pride of living in Quito,
12:47to recover the love of being part of this city,
12:50and that is also part of knowing our history,
12:53fundamental to know what happened on August 10, 1809,
12:56fundamental to know what happened on August 2, 1810,
12:59which are not only emblematic dates for the capital city,
13:02but for Ecuador and for Latin America.
13:05Remember that that is why Quito is known as Luz de América,
13:08and that is why this festival is inspired by the Luz de América,
13:11because that is the ideal of self-government,
13:14its ideals of freedom and independence are part of what we should know.
13:20The luminous and sound projections of the most representative places
13:24and symbols of the capital are exposed mainly
13:27on the facades of churches such as that of St. Francis.
13:33In the case of San Francisco, we are using seven projectors.
13:36The projectors that are used are the cinema ones
13:39because the color and optical characteristics
13:42that these projectors provide are like the cameras,
13:45they do not have interchangeable lenses.
13:49In total there are seven points where visitors can appreciate
13:52the projection of artistic, luminous and musical symbols.
14:02I think it's fabulous because it brings people downtown
14:05and re-creates businesses.
14:08But this is very eye-catching because the movement of the lights
14:11is very beautiful.
14:15Here for example on the facade of the Sucre Theater
14:18the theme was based on a transition of culture
14:21as intangible heritage, traditional games, music and customs.
14:27We could see the different arts
14:31that represent our city,
14:34paintings, references to touristic parts of Ecuador,
14:38educational and what it fosters is family and community bonding.
14:45Three days of lights, colors and sounds in the colonial center of Quito,
14:48one of the most preserved in the region.
15:18Welcome back.

16:21amid the ongoing genocide against the Gaza Strip.
16:24The foreign ministry condemned the missile bombardment of the Al-Taba'in school
16:27which left at least 100 Palestinians killed and dozens wounded
16:30and said that the constant attacks by the occupying army
16:33are clear proof of Israel's contempt for international and humanitarian law
16:36which claims mediation for the sake of a ceasefire.
16:39In this context, Beirut calls on the international community
16:43to adopt a unified position in the face of the hostility of the Lavive regime.
16:51Also, the government of Egypt rejected the unwillingness of Israel
16:54to put an end to the aggression against Palestine.
16:57The nation's foreign ministry denounced the increase of the siege
17:00every time the efforts of the mediators for an immediate
17:03and indefinite ceasefire intensifies.
17:06Proof that Netanyahu does not plan to put an end to the Palestinian genocide
17:10in the near future.
17:15In Palestine, authorities denounced that more than 2,000 pounds of bombs
17:19were used in an attack against a school in central Gaza
17:22in one of the worst massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army.
17:26The Israeli armed forces dropped bombs of 907 kilograms each
17:29in this attack on the Daraa school.
17:32Also, the genocidal troops at the service of the Lavive
17:35waited for the highest concentration of people in the area to carry out their attacks.
17:38Egypt has rejected the brutal Zionist onslaught against hundreds of civilians
17:41which occurs in the midst of efforts to carry out a negotiation process
17:45between Hamas and Israel.
17:51One of the 15 illegal bases that the United States keeps in Syrian territory
17:55was attacked on Saturday overnight.
17:58The illegal base of Karab al-Jir, unmanned aerial vehicles,
18:01impacted in several opportunities against the Washington base.
18:04They targeted their prefabricated rooms and various military vehicles.
18:07Images circling in social media show some fires
18:10while the Pentagon troops deployed drones and helicopters
18:13as part of their high-alert operative.
18:16Syria has repeatedly denounced the presence of these illegal installations in its territory
18:20as well as the dangerous tasks against peace they carry out.
18:28And in Sudan, thousands of citizens have been displaced due to floods
18:32generated by heavy rains in several states of the country.
18:35To date, more than 11,000 people have been affected,
18:38among them those displaced by the civil war in the region
18:41and who were sheltered in refugee camps.
18:44Also, local media report that at least 17 people have died in the city of Abu Hamad
18:48in north of the country.
18:51According to the United Nations High Commission of All Refugees,
18:54about 200 families have been relocated after the rains
18:57and have been provided with tents and some supplies.
19:00The office also warned of the needs such as the lack of water
19:03to provide those displaced by the armed conflict and the floods
19:06which aggravates the humanitarian situation in the country.
19:22The Russian community reported that the Kurk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions
19:26are under a regime of anti-terrorist operations.
19:29In the mentioned territories, measures and restrictions
19:32are under Article 11 of the Federal Law of March 6, 2006 on counter-terrorism.
19:36The measure applies a made-on-precedented military operations
19:39and after several Ukrainian attempts to destabilize the situation in different regions
19:42where many civilians were injured,
19:45the Committee took the measure to ensure the safety of the residents of the affected areas
19:49and declared that all state agencies are taking additional measures
19:52to maintain order and strengthen security.
19:55Former president of Catalonia in Spain, Charles Puigdemont,
19:58informed that he is back in Belgium, in the municipality of Waterloo,
20:01after his brief appearance in Barcelona.
