00:00Hello everyone. A very warm welcome to today's meditation session. One second, I'll just
00:12share the music. I hope all of you are sitting in your comfortable positions, where you can
00:20sit comfortably for half an hour. You can sit on a sofa, on a bed, on a couch, anywhere.
00:28The only disclaimer is that you have to keep your spine straight. If you feel that you can't sit down for a long time,
00:36then please sit on the chairs, but your spine has to be nice and tall.
00:41Today, we will talk about the basics of meditation. I hope everyone can hear the music clearly.
00:47I have slowed down the music a little, but if you still feel that my voice is being suppressed by the music,
00:53then you can tell me. So, today we are going to talk about the basics of meditation.
00:59You have started this meditation journey. What should be ideally the basics of meditation?
01:05Or for that matter, what is the right way to perform positive affirmations in the meditations we do?
01:16What is the right way to stay on top of those affirmations?
01:20And how can it be possible that whatever you want in life and whatever your desires are,
01:25they will be fulfilled very easily?
01:28Today, we will talk about just three basic things.
01:35So, number one is, which is very important, no complaining attitude.
01:41Generally, we put a lot of effort in a lot of things, and things happen in the right way.
01:49But there are so many times when we feel that we have put a lot of effort,
01:53but we are not getting the result according to that effort.
01:57And we feel that the effort was too much.
02:02And somehow, we feel that it wasn't right, and we feel that we should get more out of it.
02:15So, this complaining attitude is a big hurdle in your meditation process and in your positive affirmation process.
02:27Actually, what happens is, the thing that you don't accept, the thing that you don't accept positively,
02:34you fight with that thing.
02:37You create a resistance around it.
02:40I will slow down the volume a little bit.
02:43We will do it again.
02:44So, the thing that you don't accept fully, you create a resistance with that thing.
02:51So, the flow of energies around you is not complete when you are constantly fighting that battle with your thoughts.
03:00So, this complaining attitude or this attitude in which you feel that you didn't get the treatment in that way,
03:08or you didn't get the results in that way, the way you should have got the results,
03:13with that attitude, the energies around you get impacted a lot.
03:18And your vibrations remain at a very low level.
03:22Because you keep blaming the people around you, the situations around you.
03:27And your vibrations remain at a very low level.
03:31Second, attachment.
03:34Somewhere, all of them are related.
03:37Attachment.
03:38When you are very attached to the outcome,
03:42you do everything for the outcome and you are not enjoying the very process.
03:48So, you are not living in the present.
03:50The work that you are doing today, you are not enjoying it.
03:54And while not enjoying it, you are hoping for something in the future.
04:01So, what happens is that the thing that you are praying for, the thing that you are wishing for,
04:06or the thing that you want to manifest, you are doing it with a lack.
04:11So, you are starting from the point of lack.
04:15You are creating a ground that I don't have that thing right now.
04:19And right now, you are in the complaining mode of that thing.
04:22You are wanting that thing.
04:25But the way you are wanting that thing,
04:28you are manifesting the lack of that thing in your life today.
04:33So, are you able to understand?
04:35You are so attached to your result that you are not able to enjoy today's process.
04:40You are not having a good time.
04:42Rather, you know that today is not here.
04:46I don't have it today.
04:47And you are working for something like that in the future, manifesting that in the future,
04:52but with the feeling of lack.
04:54Then the manifestations become very difficult.
04:57Because manifestation is all about living in the moment.
05:00And you take that thing with so much belief that you think that you have got it today.
05:08And you live such a life from today that you feel and you live and you visualize the way you will do it,
05:17if you get that.
05:20But patience plays a very important role in this whole procedure.
05:25Your belief and your faith play a very important role in this whole procedure.
05:31If you don't have belief or faith in the whole process,
05:35and you go again and again,
05:37you have seen those people who go again and again and check,
05:40is the food cooked?
05:41No, it's not cooked yet.
05:42Leave it.
05:43Is it cooked?
05:44No, it's not cooked yet.
05:45So what happens by doing this?
05:47So you really have to show that kind of faith and firm belief in what universe is giving you
05:56and how you are putting your faith into the universe.
06:03So I give this very simple example.
06:09The way you order food.
06:11Whenever you order your food in a restaurant,
06:13do you ever doubt that I am here in this mountain, in this hill,
06:19how will these people make maggi here?
06:21Or how will these people bring me whatever you wish to have here?
06:27You don't even think about it once.
06:29You just sit there and you order that go and bring momos and this and that.
06:35And then they come.
06:37Exactly like that.
06:39And that time you are on a vibration.
06:48Exactly.
06:49That is what you have to do.
06:51You have to believe that this is my journey, which I'm living right now.
06:58For example, if I want to manifest something for me as a fitness influencer,
07:01and I will say something like, I believe I have this.
07:05So I will live my present as if I already have it.
07:11So I will not become impatient.
07:24So that kind of impatience you get, this will not happen if you are detached.
07:30You are just working, you are living in that moment,
07:34you are living and enjoying the very process.
07:37When you do it this way, it's fun.
07:59So number one, no complaining attitude.
08:21Somewhere you have to accept how things are coming to you.
08:30Okay.
08:31So you have to learn to flow with the flow of your life.
08:37You cannot resist certain things.
08:42And if you get into that fight all the time.
08:50Yeah.
08:51And third and the most important part in doing this is that you have to be
08:58spiritually aligned.
09:09It's not related with any religion.
09:11It's not about doing any practice.
09:14Spiritually aligned is very basic.
09:17Everyone has to be spiritually aligned.
09:19And what does that mean?
09:21Just being human.
09:24Jealousy, angst.
09:26So this kind of a goal is not spiritually aligned.
09:28So you can't be spiritually aligned.
09:30You have to be spiritually aligned.
09:32You have to be spiritually aligned.
09:33You have to be spiritually aligned.
09:34You have to be spiritually aligned.
09:35You have to be spiritually aligned.
09:36You have to be spiritually aligned.

10:06So all these feelings are not answered by the universe.
10:11This is not how you do your manifestations.
10:15So then how will you do your manifestations?
10:18Your manifestations should be for the good,
10:21for the good of not only you,
10:23for the good of the whole universe.
10:25You can manifest that today is my day.
10:29This day is my day.
10:31All the abundance and the goodness of the universe is flowing to me.
10:36My success is here and now.
10:40I have everything that I want to live my life with me today.
10:46All these statements are powerful in themselves.
10:51There is no negativity in them.
10:54And one of the most important statements in all of them is
10:58you have to complete the cycle.
11:00All the statements you have made so far were all inner.
11:04You are taking the flow here.
11:06You are taking everything from the universe.
11:08So somewhere the flow has to go.
11:10Right?
11:11Only then will the flow be made.
11:13So you also visualize,
11:15you also manifest that you are giving with your both hands back to the universe.
11:22And it's never about the wealth.
11:25It's not just about money.
11:28Your heart, how kind you are in your attitude,
11:32how compassionate you are in your attitude,
11:35for yourself, for your family,
11:37how forgiving you are for all those people
11:41who you meet in your life.
11:44And they must have made a lot of grave mistakes.
11:47You must have made a lot of grave mistakes.
11:49Do you have the courage to say it's okay and move on
11:55and literally forgive them from here?
11:57How clean can you keep your heart chakra?
12:01How light can you keep your root chakra?
12:06So, you know, all these are the positive affirmations.
12:10If you do these affirmations for 15 minutes or even 5 minutes,
12:14you will feel that your vibration level is here.
12:19These thoughts in itself are empowering.
12:23If you follow some positive thoughts for 5, 10 seconds,
12:28it's simple and they don't really have to be statements.
12:32Just sound the emotions of inner peace, positivity,
12:37health, wellness, magic.
12:41All these thoughts, they are so high in their vibrations.
12:48Right?
12:49So, please, because you all are starting your journey.
12:52So, make sure you make a good journal.
12:55Write down what you are thankful for in life every day.
13:00Sound that out to yourself.
13:02Because we can get rid of our shortcomings very quickly.
13:05But the blessings we have received,
13:08there are so many things we have to be thankful about.
13:11Are we really counting that?
13:14So, make a list of all the things you are thankful for.
13:19Then make a list of all the things you want to manifest.
13:23Actually, the best prayer you can ever say in life is being thankful.
13:30The things you show gratitude for,
13:33they attract you in abundance from the universe.
13:37Why?
13:38Because you believe that you already have it.
13:44Okay?
13:45Even after you have it, you are still thankful for it.
13:50And you want to give it back with that thankfulness.
13:55Imagine if you feel that you are ready to give your love,
13:59you are ready to give everything which you have.
14:02You won't be able to give more than a lakh.
14:04The thing you believe you don't have,
14:08how will you give that thing?
14:10The thing you believe you have and is abundant,
14:16the thing you are thankful for,
14:19you will be able to give that thing.
14:21And that completes the whole cycle.
14:25And that's exactly how you manifest.
14:30Exactly.
15:00Try to keep the energy of your spine straight.
15:05Regulate it.
15:07Close your eyes slightly.
15:10But if you don't feel like closing your eyes right now,
15:13then when you feel that you want to close your eyes,
15:17then slowly close your eyes.
15:19Otherwise, try to focus slowly.
15:24One of the most easiest ways to get your attention somewhere is by the breath.
15:29Generally, whenever we start meditation,
15:32we guide you to focus on your breath first.
15:35It doesn't mean that you have to inhale deeply,
15:39or exhale forcefully.
15:41It means that the way your breath is moving,
15:46focus your attention on your breath.
15:50When you do this,
15:52your thoughts magically disappear.
15:55Because your mind gets a task.
15:58To focus on your breath.
16:00So it suddenly forgets to think.
16:02But then what happens?
16:03You suddenly feel,
16:05Oh, it's been 15-20 seconds,
16:07I haven't thought of anything.
16:08Then suddenly a lot of thoughts come to mind.
16:10So to control this thing,
16:13our third eye, Ajna Chakra.
16:15So when you are focusing on your breath,
16:18you can initiate your Ajna Chakra.
16:21Either with your simple ring finger or index finger,
16:25whichever pressure is less,
16:27initiate it to begin with.
16:29Or just focus here.
16:32Then a lot of thoughts will come.
16:35Then focus again.
16:37Then a lot of thoughts will come.
16:39Then focus again.
16:40The small gaps that you will find in the middle,
16:44in which there is no thought,
16:45gradually through the meditation process,
16:48those gaps will get bigger.
16:50Our monkey mind jumps like this all day.
16:54So stop for a while.
16:56You will feel so good.
17:00You will realize that this is the moment you want to live.
17:05That's the beauty of meditation.
17:08Now I will share the music.
17:10I will keep guiding you throughout.
17:12But try not to be perturbed by any sound around you.
17:17You will not move, you will not go anywhere.
17:19You will be completely relaxed.
17:22Now close your eyes.
17:25And slowly bring your attention to your breath.
