00:00Henry gets it wrong. The Sodor Wishing Tree is a very old tree.
00:08It's older than Edward, older than Sir Handel, it's even older than the Fat Controller.
00:15Some say it's the oldest thing on the isle.
00:20All the engines and children love to make wishes whenever they see the tree.
00:25Especially Henry. He thinks the wishing tree is magical. He whistles whenever he passes.
00:34One day the Fat Controller arrived with some very bad news.
00:39A summer storm struck Sodor last night. The wishing tree was hit by lightning.
00:45All the engines were upset. Henry was the most upset of all.
00:50Some special woodsmen are arriving at Brendam Docks. Henry, you must take them to the wishing tree right away.
00:58Henry knew this was an important job.
01:01They have to be back at Brendam Docks by tea time. That's when their boat leaves.
01:07Yes, sir.
01:08And Henry puffed away as fast as he could.
01:12He chuffed towards Brendam Docks.
01:16At a junction, Henry decided to take the track that passed the wishing tree.
01:26Henry arrived at the wishing tree. It wasn't standing tall anymore.
01:31Some leaves were gone and some branches were broken.
01:35Sometimes, Henry, special woodsmen have to cut trees down.
01:40Oh no!
01:42Now Henry was even more upset.
01:46Henry took the track to Brendam. His boiler bubbled and his steam sighed.
01:53But then he had to stop.
01:56Toby was blocking the line. He had snapped the piston rod.
02:01Oh dear! I can't get to Brendam if the track is blocked.
02:06Then Henry had an idea.
02:08If all the tracks were blocked, no one would be able to get to the tree, he thought.
02:14Then no one would be able to cut the tree down.
02:18I'll take your trucks for you, Toby.
02:21He buffered up to Toby's truck.
02:25Toby's driver coupled Henry to the trucks.
02:29Henry pumped his piston and chuffed back down the track to the wishing tree.
02:38Then Henry saw Thomas at a signal.
02:42He had a long line of empty trucks to take to the quarry.
02:46I'll take your trucks for you, Thomas.
02:49Thomas happily agreed.
02:52So Henry reversed onto Thomas' track and he slowly wished away.
03:02Then Henry saw Percy at a water tower.
03:07Percy had to take truckloads of empty milk churns to the farm.
03:11Percy, I'll take your trucks for you.
03:14Thank you, Henry.
03:16Percy shunted his trucks onto the main line.
03:21Henry buffered up to Percy's trucks and whooshed away.
03:30Then Henry saw Emily.
03:33She had empty trucks to take to the coaling plant.
03:37I'll take your trucks for you, Emily.
03:40Thank you, Henry.
03:44So Emily shunted her train onto the main line.
03:51And Henry coupled up.
03:55He chuffed happily away.
03:58Henry had the longest line of trucks a big engine could pull.
04:05At last Henry puffed to the wishing tree junction.
04:14He left Emily and Percy's trucks on one track.
04:20Then he shunted Thomas' trucks onto another.
04:27Finally he shunted Toby's trucks onto the express line.
04:34All the lines to the wishing tree were blocked.
04:39Now nobody can get through.
04:41The wishing tree will be safe.
04:45At Brendam Docks the special woodsmen were waiting.
04:49Henry hadn't arrived, so the docks manager asked Salty to take the woodsmen.
04:55Aye, yes sir.
04:58Salty tried to get to the wishing tree.
05:02But all the tracks were blocked with trucks.
05:06Henry was still feeling very happy.
05:09Then he heard Harold hovering over him.
05:13Henry, old chap, the special woodsmen can't get through to the wishing tree.
05:17They're the only ones that can help.
05:19Without them the tree will have to be cut down.
05:22Oh dear, the woodsmen are here to save the wishing tree, not cut it down.
05:27I have made a very big mistake.
05:30Henry felt terrible.
05:32Now I must put everything right as fast as I can.
05:35And he chuffed quickly away.
05:39First Henry took Toby's trucks to the depot.
05:45Then he took Thomas' trucks to the quarry.
05:50Next he took Emily's trucks to the coaling plant.
05:56Finally he took Percy's trucks of empty milk churns to the farm.
06:02At last all the tracks were clear.
06:06Henry collected the special woodsmen.
06:09Thank you, Salty.
06:11Then he wished quickly away.
06:17Soon Henry chuffed up to the wishing tree.
06:22The woodsmen were ready to start their very special work.
06:28They cleared and propped.
06:31They clipped and chopped.
06:34And Henry helped too.
06:38Soon the wishing tree was standing tall again.
06:42The wishing tree was saved.
06:46I wish the wishing tree would last forever and ever.
06:50The special woodsmen cheered.
06:53And Henry smiled his biggest smile ever.
