01:31« Oh mon Dieu ! » disait Jamie.
01:32« Quel endroit magique ! »
01:34« Et le jour est le plus brillant ! »
01:35« Tu as raison, M. Jamie ! »
01:38disait Wordsworth.
01:39Qui a trouvé, sans trop de surprise, que là-bas, dans Cuckoo Land, il pouvait parler.
01:43Soudain, Jamie a vu quelque chose.
01:45Un moment, c'était là. Un autre moment, ce n'était pas là.
01:48« Oh ! »
01:49Ils ont regardé l'un l'autre, en se demandant s'ils l'avaient vraiment vu.
01:51Mais là, c'était encore là.

04:07Don't that beat all? It do that, Mr. Boo.
04:10What's that funny old noise?
04:12Whatever next, said Mr. Boo. It's Officer Gotcha.
04:17Officer Gotcha was a policeman.
04:19Not so fast, he said.
04:21I have reason to believe that you are the escaped eight-legged monster with three heads,
04:25and that false mustache doesn't fool me.
04:28And he took a bite out of his truncheon.
04:31Oh, no wonder he be so bad-tempered. He must have indigestion.
04:35Some are terrible. Hit me on the right.
04:38Officer Gotcha swiftly pulled out his spare truncheon from under his helmet,
04:42looked at his notebook, pondered a moment, and then said,
04:45Hang on, that should be eight heads and three legs.
04:48It don't fool me. Follow that monster!
04:51And off he shot.
04:53That's another 51 and a half seconds wasted.
04:57This is my submachine. All aboard, said Mr. Boo.
05:01Down you go, Wordsworth, said Jamie.
05:03Down there, Master Jamie. Never on your life.
05:08Two minutes later, Jamie and Wordsworth were following Mr. Boo down to the control deck.
05:12Now, off we go.
05:18The submachine throbbed into life and lifted off in search of Mr. Boo's missing mountain.
05:25Well, it wasn't on Rabbiting Plain.
05:28And it wasn't on Gatot Plateau.
05:38Or near the Veronica Lakes.
05:42A moment or two later, a lamp flashed.
05:45Ah, the activator. There must be someone down there.
05:49Jamie, take a look through the viewfinder.
05:51There's something, said Jamie.
05:53Oh, people, I think.
05:56And there they were again. Jamie was very excited.
06:03Wordsworth was out first, only just behind his top.
06:06Then came Jamie and finally Mr. Boo.
06:08Gosh, look.
06:10It certainly was a very peculiar picnic.
06:13Hi there, cats. Hey, you dig this, men?
06:17Yeah. Oh, it's Trumpet's Blanket. Come on.
06:22And Jamie and Wordsworth followed Mr. Boo.
06:25Trumpet's Blanket turned out to have the very strange habit of playing his nose.
06:31But like the others, he was friendly.
06:33When Mr. Boo had introduced Jamie and Wordsworth, they all sat at the table together.
06:37Wow, thought Jamie. They may be friendly. They're very strange characters.
06:42Apart from Trumpet's Blanket, there were two others.
06:45The one opposite Jamie was a ragdoll called Nutmeat.
06:48She was carefully feeding a large top hat.
06:50And Jamie wondered if she had a mountain in there as well.
06:52Of course not, silly. There wouldn't be room for the sandwiches.
06:56Wellybob might have seen it.
06:59No, he said.
07:01But don't worry. Mr. Boo will find it.
07:03Hey, Jamie, do you fancy a dollop of blancmange?
07:06So he was no help. And neither was Trumpet's Blanket.
07:09Nutmeg was feeding the hat again.
07:11Oh, wordmaster Jamie, what's going on here?
07:14Whatever did my old dad say?
07:17Here, what are you doing off?
07:19Jamie didn't know. And Mr. Boo was none too sure.
07:23Here, now what?
07:25Er's got the collywobbles.
07:27Oh, word.
07:28And together, he, Briscoe, and the Gossam.
07:33Great heavens, said Mr. Boo.
07:35Bullypundy, the magic rabbit, you haven't seen a mountain, have you?
07:39Ye, bulliont Bundy, if you don't mind.
07:43O'er yonder lies your mountain.
07:45Twenty thousand lumps of stone.
07:48And atop each tiny fragment I, a lettuce plant, have grown.
07:52And there they all were.
07:54All twenty thousand bits of Mr. Boo's mountain,
07:57bashed to bits by Bullybundy,
07:59and stretching as far as the eye could see.
08:01Well, I never, said Wordsworth.
08:03Looks like a blooming rock garden.
08:05Poor Mr. Boo. He'd have to count all twenty thousand pieces
08:08to make sure they added up to one mountain.
08:10And that meant walking miles.
08:13But Jamie had the answer. Or anyway, his torch did.
08:16This'll do the trick.
08:17Jamie's torch was magic.
08:18And as well as getting him down to Cuckoo Land,
08:20could do all sorts of other things, too.
08:22I can lift you into the air with my torch.
08:24But Jamie...
08:25And then you'll be able to count them all from up there.
08:27Oh, careful now, Master Jamie. We don't want to lose him.
08:31Don't worry, Wordsworth.
08:33And in no time at all, Mr. Boo was airborne.
08:38My word, he's gone up in the world.
08:40347, 211, 800, 12,289, 50,000...
08:45Mr. Boo was counting very quickly indeed.
08:4790, 20, 20,000. They're all there.
08:51And Jamie brought him back gently to Earth.
08:54Wonderful, said Mr. Boo.
08:5642,009 plus one equals 42,000 again.
09:00That's the right answer.
09:02Mr. Boo was very grateful and said so, which embarrassed Jamie.
09:07But Wordsworth wasn't listening.
09:09Oh, now then.
09:11Time to go home, Master Jamie.
09:14And there was the treat.
09:16Ah, thought Wordsworth.
09:18I liked my own bed.
