चावल के आटे का नाश्ता

INGREDIENTS :
Onions /प्याज़ - 2 cut into thins long slices
Garlic Pods / लहसुन - 8 to 10 crushed
Ginger / अदरक - 1" crushed
Green Chillies/ हरी मिर्च - 3 finely chopped
Cumin Seeds/ जीरा - 1 tsp
Salt / नमक - as per taste
Red Chilli Powder /लाल मिर्च पाउडर - 1 tsp
Coriander / हरा धनिया - 1/2 Cup Chopped
Rice Flour /चावल का आटा- 1 Cup
Water /पानी - 1/2 Cup
Oil /तेल - for deep frying
Green Chutney / हरी चटनी - for Serving
Tomato Ketchup / टोमेटो केचप - for Serving

00:00 Hi this is Vijaya and welcome to Vijaya's Recipes. Today we are going to make a tea time snack recipe, Onion Cutlet or Rice Onion Cutlet. Usually with onion, onion pakoda or onion bhajiya is more famous. But onion cutlet is as tasty as onion pakoda. So let's see how to make onion cutlet.

00:41 To make onion cutlet or rice onion cutlet, we have cut 2 big onions into thin slices. We will put this in a bowl. We have crushed 8 to 10 garlic pods.
01:07 1 inch ginger, crushed. 3 green chillies, finely chopped. 1 teaspoon jeera. Salt as per taste. 1 teaspoon red chilli powder.
01:34 1/2 cup coriander, finely chopped. We have heated oil in a pan. We will put 2 teaspoons of oil in the pan. Mix it.
02:03 We have taken 1 cup rice flour. We will add little by little and mix it.
02:24 We will add little by little water and bind it.
02:42 We have made a semi-solid batter. It should not be too thin. We have used only 1/2 cup water. We will grease our hands with oil.
03:05 We will take a small portion of the batter. We will make a round tikki shape.
03:33 We will make all the tikkis in the same way.
03:45 We have made all the tikkis. Now we will fry them.
03:58 We will fry the cutlets in low to medium flame. We will flip them after 2 minutes.
04:27 Our rice onion cutlets are ready. We will fry the rest of the cutlets in the same way.
04:39 We have kept it in a strainer so that excess oil drains. We will fry the rest of the cutlets in the same way.
