00:00 "Bum bum be dum bum bum be dum bum"
00:03 "What are you doing?"
00:04 "I'm making the wait more pleasant with a soothing melody."
00:08 Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at 10 hidden secrets and easter eggs
00:13 in Cyberpunk 2077.
00:20 Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo
00:24 Plays and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:28 10.
00:32 Arasaka Tower 3D
00:34 In Cyberpunk's 2.0 patch, we saw the addition of a new minigame you probably passed by without
00:39 ever realizing it.
00:50 Deep in the protein farm outside of Night City sits a lone arcade machine called Arasaka
00:55 Tower 3D.
00:56 Yes, it is a tribute to Doom and Wolfenstein 3D, and it sees you playing as Johnny Silverhand
01:02 escaping Arasaka Tower before the bomb goes off.
01:05 Sure, you can play this and walk away satisfied, but there's something rather funky about
01:10 those QR codes everywhere.
01:12 Plug in the right numbers in the right places at the right times, and maybe you'll nab
01:16 yourself a sweet prize.
01:20 11.
01:22 Cyberware Discount
01:24 With every Ripper Doc having their own inventory, it can be difficult tracking down who has
01:28 what for a decent price.
01:30 However, there is one Ripper Doc in Watson you can intimidate for a permanent discount
01:34 of their wares.
01:36 Charles Bucks is up to some shady business, and you can tell from his pricey selections.
01:48 Once you've finished the second act of the game, you can investigate around Charles'
01:52 store to find a locked door.
01:53 Check down every scav you find inside, and you'll have your evidence of his scam of
01:57 a business.
01:58 Now, take that 20% discount and nab yourself some chrome.
02:10 For Mr. Wit
02:11 While players know Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, most folks know him for the action
02:16 film franchise John Wick.
02:18 Well, the Phantom Liberty expansion came with a special easter egg to commemorate Reeves'
02:23 biggest role ever.
02:24 Head to Dogtown and look for the EBM Petrochem Stadium's Weapon Shop.
02:29 In the very back sits a gun case with the label "For Mr. Wick".
02:33 The case seems to have already been opened, and even Johnny knows the kind of trouble
02:37 Night City might be facing.
02:42 Skippy
02:43 Many veteran players will know this one already, but if this is your first time playing Cyberpunk
02:58 2077, you need to look for this weapon as soon as you can.
03:02 Tucked in one of Night City's shady alleyways is an AI-powered pistol called Skippy.
03:08 This gun is fully loaded with lethality and sass, and he will make you feel about as malicious
03:13 as a Counter-Strike hacker.
03:24 Very little aiming is required when using him, just make sure you choose the mode you
03:28 don't want him on because after a certain number of kills, he will permanently switch
03:32 to the other mode.
03:44 A Call to Your Witcher
03:45 It's wild to see The Witcher become bigger than it ever was back in 2015 when The Witcher
03:51 3 exploded in popularity, so if you're a fan of the Netflix series, you probably got
03:55 some joy seeing the Roach Race arcade cabinets.
03:58 Well, the 2.0 update added another neat easter egg for fans.
04:02 Head to a phone booth and dial the number 907-755-5202.
04:09 If entered correctly, you'll hear a familiar theme emit from the phone.
04:17 Now, step back and question why you're using a payphone in the year 2077.
04:33 CD Projekt Mart
04:34 It isn't uncommon for developers to put themselves in their own games.
04:38 It saves on resources for additional actors, and it immortalizes them within their work.
04:43 For CD Projekt co-founders Marcin Iwinski and Michael Kicinski, they got slightly bigger
04:49 roles than just NPCs.
04:51 In Dogtown, you'll find the two have opened up a braindance store, and every product is
04:56 a play on words based on the studio's various games.
05:02 Really, why would you want to play Baldur's Gate or Gwent when you could be playing Farmer's
05:07 Mate and Rent instead?
05:11 Phantom Apathy
05:12 Of course, the addition of Phantom Liberty got many excited enough to jump into Cyberpunk
05:16 again or for the first time ever.
05:19 But normally, expansions give you all the time you need before you feel ready to start
05:23 their stories.
05:25 Cyberpunk is not most games, and it gives you a more restricted window to answer its
05:30 call.
05:31 Sure, you can go and attempt to save the president to start Phantom Liberty, but what if you
05:35 chose not to?
05:37 What if you kept playing and thought, "Eh, I'll do this after I take down Arasaka."
05:41 Well, you were actually on a time limit there, buddy.
05:44 You'll get a nasty call from Songbird, and you will be locked out of Phantom Liberty
05:49 for the remainder of your game.
05:58 So you might want to consider saving the second you get the call.
06:10 The Edge Runner Graves
06:18 Cyberpunk Edge Runners was such a fantastic anime, sucks that it was so short lived, but
06:24 Night City is such a hopeless place to be in that the deaths of David, Rebecca, Kiwi,
06:29 and the others were expected.
06:30 But how does it tie into the game outside of setting?
06:33 Well, you can actually visit their graves.
06:36 And judging from the memorials written on the wall, one can tell that they were all
06:40 written by Lucy herself.
06:41 Here's hoping our moon queen has found a better life.
06:50 Secret missions?
07:04 Chances are you went to every Cyberpsycho setting, every NCPD dispatch call, and every
07:10 side mission prominently displayed on the map.
07:13 Guess what?
07:14 You still haven't completed the game like you might have thought.
07:17 That's right, Cyberpunk 2077 is hiding a hearty helping of secret side missions that you are
07:22 never ever told about.
07:24 You really have to go out of your way to discover these for yourself, and some of the methods
07:28 to access them are very unorthodox.
07:31 Perhaps we'll cover all of them in a future video?
07:34 A secret ending?
07:35 Sure, you probably went and experienced all four endings to see every possible ending
07:40 for Johnny and V. But did you know there is actually a secret fifth ending?
07:45 Probably not, as you have to make very specific decisions in order for it to be available.
07:50 While in the oil fields with Johnny, you will need to pick three specific dialogue choices
07:55 in order to increase your affinity with him.
07:57 Then, just before the assault on Arasaka, Misty will ask you what your plan is.
08:02 But make a choice for a few minutes, and Johnny will eventually offer you another option where
08:07 V takes on Arasaka by himself.
08:18 Succeed and you will get to see this secret ending.
08:21 Fail and die in combat, and you'll see another ending that is significantly more depressing
08:27 than the others.
08:35 Know any other secrets in Cyberpunk?
08:37 Did it make our list?
08:38 Let us know down in the comments, and don't forget to subscribe to Mojo Plays for more
08:42 great videos every day.
08:44 Later.
