00:05 Hello and welcome to our latest guide to 5 things to do and this time we're looking at the 13th to the 19th of November.
00:12 And if you're sensible and you aren't putting trees up and decorating your houses just yet, you'll perhaps want something else to do.
00:18 So here are 5 suggestions, starting with some theatre at the Dukes Theatre in Lancaster.
00:23 Because on the 14th of November the Voloz Collective bring you the man who thought he knew too much.
00:29 Wes Anderson meets Hitchcock meets Spaghetti Western in this multi-award winning fast paced raucous whodunit.
00:35 Roger, a Frenchman in 1960s New York has followed the same predictable routine for years until a minor delay saves him from an explosion.
00:44 Throwing his ordered world into chaos, Roger chases his would-be assassins around the globe.
00:50 It starts at 7.30pm and tickets will cost you £8 each.
00:55 Lytham next for some live music with legendary folk rockers Steelye Span.
01:00 Pioneers of folk rock, Steelye Span changed the face of the genre forever, taking it out of small clubs and into the world of gold discs and international tours.
01:09 Five decades on and the band continue to celebrate their famous past alongside their recent history.
01:15 They're on at the Lather Pavilion Theatre in Lytham on Wednesday the 15th of November and tickets are £26.50.
01:23 Now then, if you really want to get into the festive spirit, it's that time of year for Christmas lights switch ons.
01:28 Burnley are up first on Saturday the 18th of November with a cracking Christmas show planned in the town centre.
01:34 There will be interactive acts throughout the day from 11am till 6pm.
01:38 A live stage show will continue the fun from 3pm and culminate in the switching on of the Christmas lights.
01:43 The annual event is free to attend.
01:46 And if you're on the lookout for more unusual gift ideas, how about the Clochmas Steampunk Festival at Hesking Hall near Chorley.
01:53 The science fiction themed steampunk event returns to the venue for one weekend only.
01:58 Expect two days of entertainment and the chance to buy some unusual and quirky Christmas gifts.
02:02 The Halls Cafe will also be open and the neighbouring Hesking Hall shopping village will be too.
02:07 It's on the 18th and 19th of November and there's free entry.
02:12 And lastly, the coast is also getting a festive makeover as Blackpool kicks off a spectacular Christmas by the Sea festival.
02:18 In addition to a free to use skating rink, this year's village will include festive light installations and projection shows,
02:24 themed log cabins with food, drinks and gifts, artificial snowfalls, Christmas trees and festive tram rides.
02:31 You'll also see a variety of themed children's attractions.
02:34 The return of the Star Flyer, which at 196ft tall is one of Europe's tallest swing rides.
02:40 And exciting new thrill rides including a 100ft long snow slide.
02:44 Christmas by the Sea will be complemented by a full illuminations display along the seafront as well.
02:50 And all the fun starts on November 17th. I think it's a Friday.
02:54 Anyway, if that hasn't got you heading up the loft to find a tinsel, then nothing will.
02:59 Join me next week for another 5 Things to Do.
03:01 But until then, take care and we'll see you next time.
