After One Hand Continental Presses(https://youtu.be/n-_AtN1AEA8?si=JRWVn26ykoY-LslE ) Some Full Laterals, Kissing Raises, and Round the Backs to finish yesterday. After reading about UNDERHAND Laterals by Dr. Michael Yessis back in the early 90s l've done my Laterals ALL THE WAY OVERHEAD. I was a Bodybuilder at the time and thought it was funny that Upper Pec development was always considered 'problematic' yet, we WOULDN'T do some of the BEST movements for it! These Full Laterals STRONGLY isolate & work the Clavicular Pecs with absolutely ZERO help from the Lower(Sternal) Pecs! For regular folks, the Full Lateral works a much fuller ROM: pretty much doubles it. If you finish by reaching for the sky, you'll get some nice cramping. The Kissing Raises have you bringing the plates in to kiss and hold until you flare out at the top. Again, as a Bodybuilder, this appealed to me cuz it gave me a chance to combine an Isometric component with a Concentric/Eccentric one. Lastly, Around the Backs are done with plates touching at the top and give an intense Lat contraction while building/maintaining mobility. I'm using 5kg plates which is plenty IF l need to go heavier, l will do less reps, BUT do the reps more slowly. Lotta fun here folks! God Bless!
