We use turning the palm up aka Supination on Curls so why not use Pronation on Extensions?? YES, it DOES feel weird to have the hands Supinated at the bottom/start of the lift. Actually, the whole movement is kinda weird until you get the hang of it. On top of that, you have more weight(10% of total weight) loaded on the thumb side. If you stay at the bottom for an extra moment or two, you can dig in for a nice stretch in the Long Head of the Triceps and Upper Lats. If you have an adjustable dumbbell, give this a try!
