Luke persuades Geoff to take on an ailing donkey and Kate is sucked into allowing a complaining Paula to move in while Chris is in Sydney. Paula quickly makes herself at home, much to Kate and Geoff's dismay. When Sam and Emma reveal Paula’s meddling ways, Kate and Geoff are mortified. Geoff takes a bold step towards confronting the town gossip – he asks Kate to move in with him, suggesting marriage first would be a pretty good idea. Kate embraces him and the idea.
